    I played Pearl and Heart Gold too, but I solo'd them with my starters. My main Gen 4 games are Diamond and Soul Silver.

    I always polished up my team even when I beat HG long ago lol (300 + hours :D)
    I haven't played it in years, but mine was from the top of my head Lucario, GArchomp, Feraligatr, Electrivire, Charizard and Snorlax
    I got half of them from the safari I think

    • I'm playing HeartGold and my team is currently: Quilava, Lucario, Horsea, Haunter, Golbat and Magnemite. Bit different to what I usually have but I really fancied trying out a Crobat this time round as I ain't had one before.

    Buizel Lvl 22 - a staple of my Gen IV teams, can't go through a run without one

    Luxio Lvl 21 - A new addition to my team, first time use, excited to evolve it fully

    Monferno Lvl 21- My favorite starter in Sinnoh and definite top 5 all time

    Machop Lvl 20 - another new addition, first time i'm going to go through a whole run with one

    Ponyta Lvl 15 - late addition, we'll see if it comes to be of any use, already have monferno

    Bidoof Lvl 11 - HM slave for now

    Haven't decided what other pokemon I'm going to pick up yet, maybe a Lopunny and Gliscor

    Arcanine (LV 59)
    Dragonair (LV 53)
    Feraligatr (LV 56)
    Pidgeot (LV 51)
    Gyarados (LV 44)
    Ampharos (LV 52)

    I wanted Skarmory over Pidgeot, but too bad the wi-fi thingy got shut down. Will have to deal with it or go back to AR. I don't want to, honestly. But man... I seriously want some SS/Plat 'mons now and I might not have it :(

    • Well, after a massive hiatus of maybe around several months(Yes, I have been working on this run even before joining this site) after a teammate dying, I've finally decided to come back to my 2nd HG run! Of course, it will be spoilers if you read Shinermaun's Revenge(which is also on hiatus, somehow.), so here is the current gang. I am at the Rocket Hideout, as of now.

    Also, they are all at level 33. Therefore, I will not provide the level they are at in the spoiler as they all are at the same level.

    • So between today and yesterday, I did a really really fast run through Soul Silver so I could prepare for a coming challenge i'll be doing in Heart Gold in 2016. My team was Meganium, Machamp (traded at Goldenrod), Magnezone, Golduck and Magmortar, the very latter of which was a Magmar for most of the game. (So many M's...) I beat Lugia within the same day I started the game, beat Lance around 2:30 today and beat Red just before 8, which shows how little time I had to waste.

    It was the first time i've ever had a Meganium in HGSS. I also beat three of Erika's Pokémon with a Level 48 Golduck thanks to Blizzard (I froze her Victreebel solid), which made me feel pretty cool. B)

    In Soul Silver, I was actually crazy enough to use three teams at once. Here they are:
    Team A:
    Burnsy the Typhlosion (M)
    Mary the Ampharos (F)
    Belle the Victreebel (F)
    Red the (shiny) Gyarados (M)
    Angela the Togekiss (F)
    Saul the Scizor (M)

    Team B:
    Burnsy (again)
    Roxanne the Golem (F)
    Selene the Crobat (F)
    Violet the Gengar (F)
    Todd the Politoed (M)
    Cherry the Bellossom (F)

    Team C:
    Burnsy (again)
    Hera the Heracross (F)
    William the Fearow (M)
    Albus the Alakazam (M)
    Vanessa the Lapras (F)
    Wilbur the Mamoswine (M)

    Team A was my previous team before I restarted the game. Team B was the team I beat Red with in my Nuzlocke of the original Silver, and I wanted to play with them in the remakes. Team C (with Burnsy being the exception) were Pokemon I rarely ever use, so I wanted to try them out. I kept rotating the teams periodically (except Burnsy, who was in all 3 teams). It was really fun, but the grinding was very tedious. If only Gen 6's EXP mechanics existed back in Gen 4.
