    Hey all, this is my first attempt at this so I'd like some feedback and criticisms so I can improve the team as much as possible before I give it a go in battles. I haven't battled competitively since RSE metagame so I could really use the advice on this.

    My lead, sets up stealth rocks and sandstorm and and then switches out so it can come back later and stall/wall or EQ

    Ability: Iron Barbs
    252 hp / 128 def / 128 SpD
    -steath rocks/explosion
    -spikes
    -power whip
    -leech seed

    Sets up stealth rocks and as many spikes as possible while keeping healed with leech seed.

    Calm nature
    Ability: Natural Cure
    252 hp / 252 def / 4 SpD
    -cotton guard
    -roost
    -flamethrower
    -toxic

    Toxic staller, flamethrower to hit anything toxic can't hit. (steels)

    Milotic @ toxic orb
    Calm Nature
    Ability: Marvel scale
    252 hp / 252 def / 4 SpD (or maybe a split on def/SpD EVs)
    -dragon tail
    -recover
    -scald
    -ice beam

    Toxic orb to guarantee the status effect for marvel scale (and immunity to other more annoying effects). Stalls with massive defenses and recover while dragon tailing anything that walls it.

    Another bulky staller. Stockpile/recover makes it a nightmare to kill while toxic/sandstorm/entry hazards tick. Sandstorm gives even more defense as well.

    -taunt/toxic
    -wish
    -protect/toxic
    -heal bell

    Special wall and team cleric. Heal bell/wish to heal up any of my other walls that need it. Taunt to prevent set ups.

    So that's my team that I made. I always liked the defensive style of play over the set up and sweep style. This entire team is a bulky set of tanks that stall and use entry hazards and end of turn damage to outlast opponents. Set ups shouldn't be much of an issue because end of turn damage would prevent them from setting up for long or staying in. I appreciate any feedback.

    Altaria is really outclassed at stalling by things like sub roost nite tbh. I recommend replacing it with

    It has the same general idea, but it bulkier , and multi scale allows you to take hits at full health a lot better. If you are still worried about steels you could probably fit fire blast in there somewhere.





    You wont be stalling anything with milotic for too long, as the toxic orb + the opponents damage will kill it quickly, even with Marvel Scale. You could try

    Cradily is really not that great as a wall, especially with the ever so common fighting types in gen V. However if you really want to use it, I suggest you consider using the following

    ~ Rock Slide
    ~ Toxic
    ~ Recover
    ~ Seed Bomb / Stealth Rock / Protect

    In Sandstorm, you always want to max out Cradily's special defense, as it gets a 1.5 boost.



    Umbreon in todays metagame is near useless. So many things will just come in and beat it that it really isn't funny. If you really want a cleric, you could try

    Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk)
    Evs: 252 Def / 80 SAtk / 176 SpD
    - Softboiled
    - Thunderwave / Toxic
    - Flamethrower / Ice Beam / Aromatherapy / Stealth Rock
    - Seismic Toss

    Those are all the things I noticed, hope it helps.
