    INTRO
So basically, this will be more of a learning experience for me, as I apparently lack the skills to make my own engine as of writing and do not wish to make my main project based upon an inferior engine. I got the idea from Luka S.J., who told me I was overextending my main project by adding a third region (second unless you count the Sevii Islands) to it and later suggested I use Essentials to refine my coding skills. And so... here we are.

Actually, this'd be a learning experience not just for me but also for the rest of Atlantic Arts, and I also figured that I'd be likelier to attract people to a project this way. As such, I'll be focusing much of my energy on this project for the time being. All a programmer needs to join is knowledge of RMXP and its language (Ruby, which has no relation to either the Ruby or the Omega Ruby versions). I'm also in need of a music composer and/or arranger, in addition to characters and stories and location names for Albion. Let me know if you're interested!

    BACKGROUND AND PLOT
About one year before the events of X/Y, a youth from Tributary Town, in Albion, dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Trainer. That dream came true one fateful day, when Professor Willow got attacked while studying a wild Pokémon. The soon-to-be-minted Trainer saved her using one of three Pokémon, and Professor Willow, as thanks, let the youth have that Pokémon.

The new Trainer had two ambitions: firstly, to take on the Pokémon League's Albion Challenge; and secondly, to help Professor Willow complete the Pokédex she had been working on. Along the way, though, this new Trainer gets entangled in a war between two ecoterrorist organizations: Team Calor, which is attempting a Second Industrial Revolution, and Team Freeze, which is going to extremes to save the planet from global warming. Can this Trainer make it to the top, advance the realm of Pokémon research, and save the world from a potentially destructive ecological conflict?

    FEATURES
    - A whole new world just north of Kalos, called Albion.
    - Various tasks to complete via Entralink for a wide variety of Trainers.
    - The most expansive possible Pokédex, containing 721 Pokémon (give or take).
    - New friends and new enemies with whom to battle.
    - Multiplayer functionality.
    - Even more!

    PROGRESS
    In its earliest possible stages.

    - Background and plot
    - Primitive map of Albion (may need refining)

  • Great idea, what Gen of graphics will you be using and will this be a single or duel screen. You said something about needing names for locations what did you mean by that? Like for example Talga Forest, Ridgeline City, Railo Town...ect

Gen V.V, and I'm thinking of making this dual screen. And as for location names, I'm thinking there should be a general aquatic thematic.

I see what you mean as your Home town is a word that mean river. And one that doesn't lead into the ocean. Well good luck.

Anyway, anyone got any other water-themed names, as well as Gym Leader order and/or name suggestions?

Regarding Gym Leaders, I have already decided on a Normal specialist, an Ice specialist, a Fighting specialist, a Flying specialist, a Bug specialist, a Ghost specialist, a Dragon specialist, and a mixed-type (Dark/Steel/Fairy) specialist. For the mixed-type specialist, I figured I'd call her Nova, since all three of her type specialties are types that didn't exist in the Color Gen.
