    Hello everyone! I've made an advanced guide on my favorite game ever! Spelunky! Please Note that this guide is for the PC version only.

    Spelunky is a unique platformer with randomized levels that offer a challenging new experience each time you play. Journey deep underground and explore fantastic places filled with all manner of monsters, traps, and treasure. You'll have complete freedom while you navigate the fully-destructible environments and master their many secrets. To stay or flee, to kill or rescue, to shop or steal... in Spelunky, the choice is yours and so are the consequences!

    Spelunky Basics

    Places
    There are many places to explore in the caves of Spelunky, each filled with unique terrain, monsters, traps and Level Feelings.
    There are four main areas that the Spelunker must navigate to reach Olmec, in addition to a bonus area where the Spelunker can face the game's final boss.
    There are also several bonus levels which offer powerful items as their prize if the Spelunker can survive them.

    Area 1 - The Mines

    "An abandoned mine with many deep shafts"

    The Mines are the first of the four main areas, comprising levels 1-1 to 1-4.

    The rocky mines are filled with spiders, bats and snakes, as well as the occasional trap.
    It is the easiest area of the game, but will quickly finish off careless adventurers as they delve deeper.

    Area 2 - The Jungle

    "The trees here have found a way to grow without any sunlight."

    The Jungle is the second of the four main areas, comprising levels 2-1 to 2-4.

    Plant life flourishes here, and tribal savages make their home amongst the trees. Beware the possibility for the walking dead.

    Area 3 - The Ice Caves

    "Icy rocks suspended over a bottomless abyss."

    The Ice Caves are the third of the four main areas, comprising levels 3-1 to 3-4.

    It is a frosty cavern that is far more open than other areas in the game, and falling off the slippery platforms will be fatal.
    It is home to many Yetis and Mammoths, as well as strange alien invaders.
