Transferring from v15 to v16.2

I've made a game in v15 that goes up to the 8th gym. All of the gen 6 PBS files are already implemented.
Would I encounter any problems if I replaced the Scripts file with v16.2's Scripts file? Or would that mess anything up (like switches or variables?)

This page has all the information you need. Global switches and variables are stored in System.rxdata, not the Scripts' data file.
