So what do you think are you strong points and weak points with writing? Are you working on correcting those weaknesses, or are you just working your way around those spots? Why do you think those are your strengths and weaknesses?
I think that I'm great with dialogue, but not so great with description. It's something that I've been trying to get better on, but finding the right words, showing v telling, and getting the right picture in the readers' head is hard. I realized this when the first thing anyone ever said about my writing was, "The dialogue is good, but the description sucks". In fact, I plan on taking a creative writers' class next quarter just so I can improve on it. I don't really try to avoid describing while writing because I really can't. It's kind of necessary. :P
