How to add a "Pokédex app" into the Pokégear?

I know the Pokédex is accesible by the pause menu on the top, but I think it would be an interesting option for some fangames, and with that, to move the Pokégear option to the top of the pause menu, right in the place where the Pokédex was.

So what do you think guys? Is it possible to do that? because I would like it for my project.
