I've been doing a Squirtle-Only run on LeafGreen, but there was always this problem about to be even more amplified.
Green's Venusaur.
My Squirtle's level is superior in regard to Venusaur's, and thus I can take two hits. However, most of the time I end up fainting and needing to use a Revive slave. Now that he would be Champion, I fear his Venusaur might become an even greater problem. Please notice that this is the first challenge.
Squirtle Lv83 @Everstone
Impish Nature
\-Attract (Erika's gym was wayyy too hard, I needed some help, and my Squirtle is male, so why not?)
\-Bite (Psychics, Ghosts, Grass-types and anything resistant to water.)
\-Hydro Pump
\-Surf
Any suggestions?
Never mind. Beat him with a different strategy: Taught Squirtle strength to prevent sheer PP loss instead of Attract and stalled Venusaur's Solar Beams until he ran out of PP. Simple.
