  • OOH you know whats easy to implement? 4 regions were youn play the pokemon card game! Sorry for that my sarcasm is starting to act up again. Anyway I would want to see what a sword duel in pokemon form would be like. Or a race were you bunny hop to victory. But that would break your keyboard with the button mashing. Hope you like the ideas.
    I meant CASINO games.

Ah, it sounds as tiring to do as what I'm doing now. Well, keep things calm to get less confused >.<

Usually, all casinos have a roulette, so I think you should have one too. When you think about it it's not that complicated as it should have just two phases: one where you let the player pick a number, and assign it to a variable; and the second one where you just chain a bunch of randoms to make the 36/37 (I've never played the roulette :P) available numbers, and then compare the result with the variable. Not really hard to implement (the only problem lies in how you can make the player pick one of the 36/37 numbers at the beginning, "do you want 0->yes/no->do you want 1->yes/no..." sounds a bit extreme to me XP)

[EDIT]: Oh, there's no real need to allow the player to pick just one value, BTW. But, allowing to pick more numbers means more variables (and what's more important more variable checks in the second phase O.o)
Right, that. Even, with a lot of number checking, I could do choosing Red and Black, Odd and Even, columns... with lower and higher, the 1~17 and 18~36 (pasa and falta in Spanish, gotta check their english names) and the thirds. Having two variables for your bet (kind of bet: single, third, column, half, color, odd...; and value of bet (different interpretations depending on the kind of bet) would make it quite simple. Argh, if pokemon scripts could do more arithmetics than adding/substacting constants, with a little math this would be a piece of cake.

  • strip poker is not doable.
Texas hold'em and/or poker... hard, it happens the same as French dices as I said before, but more complex because there are more numbers.
I sketched a Blackjack script and a roulette script (available bets will be number, color, oddity and halves), and maybe I'll do a Dices script. That'll be all.

On other news, I've done the tileset for rainbowpolis, now I've gotta build the blocks and then build the city. Then I'll post pic(s)

In the spanish translation I'm exactly at secret tunnel when you're about to face kid and curry.
En la traducción a español, estoy en el tunel secreto cuando vas a luchar contra kid y curry.

  • Inserted the tiles... oops, too big! It's cut in AM and in the tileset viewer of the VBA.
Solution: cut the dock tiles and save the skatepark stuff separatedly. It'll be in another tileset, therefore in another place.
EDIT: tileset inserted with palletes and stuff. Ready to work...

  • i am stuck, as i dont know where to go.

    some questions:

1: who learns explosion and where can i find that pokemon
    - never mind

2: what is the item i am searching for, for that proffesser.

    thats it for now.
    *opens YAPE*
    Pokémon that learn explosion:
covolts, poisoneko, gekelandra, armorito, armorazo, truffalo, ninjice (can learn all the tms and hms), [monibags and bankedon, darkoon and huntoon were supposed to but I ****ed up and put waterfall, thanks for asking this, I noticed that mistake] poocher, wappy, riwoof, tabble, rooki, tanstone, spingen, duosgen, demibomb, powergass, pasqall, tarsony, garsoom, ponge (not supposed to... fixed) and ayayaye.

You can catch ninjices at wistwoods. They're hard to find but they're there. They can learn any move from TMs and HMs, and with quick learn, any attack its opponent does. A good strategy is getting psychic for your ninjice in the battle against Patricia.
It learns quick learn every level if it doesn't know it.

The item is the Orange Package, you get it at the secret tunnel, having the kayuko key, talking to the statue.

  • where might one find this "kayuko key"?

    i have the stone key.

    EDIT:

    found a tile error.

    in the "secret tunnel".

where the lower switch is, where you battled them glass army members, you can walk behind a pillar, and you appear above it.

    EDIT 2:

and the guy outside the egg train in cobaltstation doesnt say anything when you talk to him.

    EDIT 3:

when you talk to baro in the lab, it says "OAK:" and his pokedex information.

    1.- thanks, fixed.
You get the kayuko key from Dr. Kayuko at cobalstation.

2.- Noticed that before. Anyway, he'd ask you for a ticket train, which you don't have and won't until way after beating the league... so no problemo yet.

    3.- Yes, that's undone.

Where is Skatepark going to be in Rainbowpolis? Will you battle Skaters there?I think it replaces Cycling Road since Skate replaces bike. Also, what's the layout of Rainbowpolis going to be like?Like a preview map of Rainbowpolis showing the districts, but Rainbowpolis probably isn't mapped yet.Well,Good work!

The skatepark will be separated to the city, but I'm not sure if it'll be a rute like the cycling road. It'll have a bowl, kickers to jump on and grindable rails. You'll battle skaters too.

I've done/sketched (it may change) the block pallete. This is the only peek to rainbowpolis I can give until I map the city.

Phew, mapping the city, this will be worse than a 1000 pieces puzzle.

No, what made you think that?
It'll have all the gyms minimum, which is 3 more cities (rainbowpolis included, remember that eighth gym is in tangerine city) Sea routes should be fast to map so cool that. Add to that many dungeons: Desert cave (in sandy valley, currently blocked by a sleeping boultan), mirage tower (white desert), yakuza's/glass army's hideout (not too planned yet), a lighthouse (Á la Olivine), Skull Island (where you'll get surf, it'll have something to do with the lighthouse..., anyone played monkey island 3?), Marbletower's temple/tunnel (mentioned at the museum back door events, it'll be a very important place)... hmmm... And maybe more things.

Summer is coming and I'll have more time, although exams are in june so expect a hold... or not.
