    I just realized you couldn't have won my badge if you did beat me.
    You only used one rock pokemon.
    It would have been considered a friendly.
    If you want to challenge other gyms you have to use 3 of your gym type.

    I honestly thought that only applied to defending your gym, there are a few badges I should take back then from memory

    All gym leaders have to use 3 pokemon of their gym at all times. Unless it's a friendly. That's why i always use 3 steel types.

    Zeus is now the ground gym leader, I will replace the badge for whoever won the boulder badge to his new badge. Since he switched over you still keep the badge you won from his rock team.
