Sorry, I don't really know of any good ones for essentials... You're probably best off trying to learn for yourself. That's how I know what moderate amount I know.

If you want to know how to script in RMXP, You could look at your project's default scripts for ideas or you could look on Google for "RPG Maker XP Scripting Tutorial" or "Ruby Scripting Tutorial"
