  • I'm sure Fairy Odd Parents would be miles better than the stuff Nickelodeon put today. I mean, Fred? Really? As if YouTube wasn't enough publicity for him he gets a show on Tv >:

  • Well as it's been dead for a while I'll go ahead and stick a question out there;

    What was / is / are your favorite subjects at school / college and why?

    Personally I enjoyed PE because I've always been good at running around like a crazy person [also dem PE uniforms.] Geography was a blast too, our teacher was very humorous, and made all the lessons entertaining.

  • Calculus! Cause I'm pretty freaking awesome at math.

    Although cause of senioritis, my grades took a nose dive in that class. Along with every other class. :I

  • WELCOME BACK, HARLEY, HARLEY HARLEY HARLEY QUIN. HARLEEN QUINZEL. OH MY.

    Which reminds me: I just posted my first blog entry. And it happens to focus around the new videogame by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Check it out, I guess: http://www.pokecommunity.com/blog.php?b=15580

    Favorite subject in school? Not sure. Math is easy, so let's go with that. My Global History teacher is awesome, my art class is a bit of a bore, my English teacher is cute, but that's about it, and our Chorus concerts are fun, although the class can be a drag. Biology is just there way too often, but the class is fun. PE isn't my style, although my next and final unit is Archery, so I'm looking forward to that. My Spanish teacher is freaking awesome and hilarious, and we never have any homework. So, actually, I think I'll say Spanish class.
    Next year I have a Creative Writing class, so I'm looking forward to that.

    Not "school"- but my History teacher is awesome. I loved that class last year because it was so entertaining. We would go off-topic and debate politics, even. I don't think he knows our names- he calls one guy "magneto", my friend "dipstick" and me "that young lady over there". x;

    But he's funny. During a different class of his that I'm in, he asked us if we actually have learned anything. After everyone answered, he turned to me and muttered, "I learned something: how many bars there are between here and home." X} Despite being the way he is, it's kind of like he's got this wall built up against us. I've only had one or two real conversations with him, and it was because I got to class early. He told me and my friend about his (late) wife. [:

  • I remember once in highschool a teacher was giving a presentation and all of the sudden his MSN pops up with someone messaging him "DUDE I THINK THE 'ROIDS ARE WORKING!!"
    The class burst out laughing. It was amazing! Poor guy was embarassed. We used to troll him with his desktop wallpaper all the time- always replacing it with something random and funny. Good he had a great sense of humor and never really got angry. We were all good kids and we knew each other from 9th grade (we were gr 12 at the time.) It was an arts program so same art class every semester :3

  • Oh god, I'd have died if I was in his situation.

    I was kind of embarrassed one once when me and 3 or 4 other kids were doing a project on women in the 1800s. But since there were way more boys than girls, the guys had to play the girl parts. That I had no problem with, nor did I have a problem with the girls photoshopping the guys' faces on a picture of women from back then.

    It was embarrassing when my teacher saw and said that I had a very cute puppy dog face. No comment on the other guys. Like, what? -_-;

    I got free candy, though, so I guess I shouldn't complain. :3

    Haha LOL. I had a similar experience but not about MSN. It was when my Social Studies teacher is going to show us something on the internet. When he opened chrome it opened the new tabs page and we saw there... A PORN SITE We were like laughing so hard that we didn't listen to his class the whole period. :3

    His excuse was not very convincing, he said that Freshmen students did that. :3 But his laptop is password protected. :3

    Today my teacher said "I'm the liberal hippie freak your teachers warned you about." in response to her assertion that Texas has banned critical thinking because they're afraid of liberal hippie freaks would corrupt their children.

  • Someone who rejects mainstream stuff in favor of independent things, like independent artists. Though being a hipster has become mainstream now.

    Hmm... if a hipster is someone who rejects the mainstream for independent things, & that becomes the new mainstream... doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a hipster?

    This may sound confusing to some, but I've tried my best to ask this as I possibly can...

    Hipsters smell.

    Also, unrelated but I've decided from now on to stop reading comments on MSNBC news. I suspect everyone commenting there to be either left/right extremists or conspiracy theorists.

    You know what? Eff it, I'm gonna take it one step further and not get my news from MSNBC period.

  • I thought hipsters liked things before they were cool. And were more arts-prone and concerned with left ideas with a disregard for their own economic prosperity.
