At first glance, Morgan Delmare is boisterous, hotheaded, and arrogant. He demands recognition and seems hungry for greatness. He is an idealist with tremendous determination, sometimes to the point of ignorance. He is also devoted to defending and supporting his friends and loved ones, fighting with all his strength to protect them. As a natural leader, he is very charismatic in the heat of battle, able to inspire all those around him.
Morgan's bravado and fearlessness is also little more than a facade to mask his own worries and support others. The young man actually has a softer side for those close to him and those that he took the life of. He considers his close friends his family and treats them as such, giving a very big brother-esque vibe to those in his "family".
In a small village tucked away near the ocean side, a baby was born to the village's leader and his wife. The newborn child was named Morgan, meaning "Fighter of the Sea" The youngest of five boys, he was pushed around at first and learned through tough love. But the young boy soon adapted and started living up to his name, never starting a fight but, always willing to end one even as a small toddler.
The village of Roadell was an area known throughout the entire region for it's fierce warriors but, their humble attitude for victory. It was obvious to everyone in the area that Morgan would grow up to be one of Roadell's finest warriors but, something set him apart from the others. Completely disregarding his people's rich tradition of being strong yet humble off and on the battlefield, the young "Fighter of the Sea" showed a pompous and hot headed attitude in everything he did.
Obviously Morgan's mind set clashed with that of his father's and the rest of the village's but while they butted heads often, the young man showed his prowess as a leader and a warrior. Fighting in his first battle at only the age of thirteen, he lead his own small battalion against another village, inspiring and leading his men to victory.
While he still bickered with the elders of the village about the way he carried himself, Morgan kept leading Roaddel to constant victory. The women and children loved him, and his peers envied him. The young man now at the age of nineteen was living the high life. His ego boosted and soon boasted himself as the greatest warrior in all of Kale. That life would soon be changed.
A rumor that Grandora's king was trying to take over Kale spread throughout the country. Eventually it reached the ears of Roadell. The village who was known throughout Kale for their fighting prowess was expected by the rest of the country to protect and defend the whole region. The chief of the village, Morgan's father, jumped at the chance to defend his country and called upon the men of Roadell to fight along side him. Four of his sons and more than half the warriors left along side him. But one son remained in the village.
"It's just a rumor, you won't find anything." Was the farewell message that Morgan gave his brothers and father. He continued to enjoy his carefree life while the warriors of Roadell rode on. The brash warrior decided that he needed something that set him apart from he rest of the solders and fighters out in the world, so he left Roadell for a year, expecting his father to return home soon.
He and his battalion trained and traveled, searching far and wide for a famed wizard. Eventually they met the man and Morgan started to study under the mage, having a natural aptitude for the element of water. He studied for an entire year with his battalion also learning and easily became a skilled mage, being able to combine his physical fighting ability with his magical ability.
As a parting gift the wizard gave his disciple a specially made trident. It's name was Nynve, meaning "Lady of the Lake". It was to help him in battle by utilizing the spells that Morgan had mastered under the mage's tutelage. So the warrior-mage, along with his tiny army, started the trek home.
The group came back to nothing. All that was left were ashes and burned, rotten corpses laying about the former village of Roadell. The men mourned but, not for long, as Morgan's spirit drove them on. He inspired them to avenge their fallen and punish those that had destroyed their home and their familys.
It took only three hours for the brigade to find their first target. A small scouting patrol sent by the King of Grandora. It only took ten minutes to wipe them out. It took only one day for the brigade to find their second target. It only took ten minutes to wipe them out. The group's feats grew larger and larger until they were recognized throughout the newly ruled Kale, as legends. The people of the region began to call them by a name of another small battalion in the region's ancient mythology, the "Myrmidons"
The Myrmidons carried on with Morgan always leading the way until King Diaz could no longer ignore the fact that this small group was slaughtering his armies bit by bit. He sent an entire fleet of men to conquer the small battalion and while it was fifty against one hundred thousand, the Myrmidons didn't go down without a fight. ninety thousand went down while forty nine of the Myrmidons passed on.
Morgan's legendary feats had reached the ears of Kale's self-appointed king. So Diaz made sure his men kept the young legend alive... to make sure he suffered. A life sentence in Galvez Prison sounded about right for someone of Morgan's stature.
Nyneve "Lady of the Lake" - A specially made trident, forged specifically to cater to Morgan's ability to manipulate and freeze water. Using his mana, Nyneve secretes water from its prongs so that when her user stabs through an enemy he can freeze them so that a small wound could turn into a gaping laceration.
Water Manipulation: Able to manipulate water and harden and turn to gas but, can't make water appear out of thin air. If concentrated, small amounts of moisture can be pulled together to form the liquid form.
Freeze: Can freeze water into different shapes and sizes but, only with the amount of water currently being frozen.
