    Update #3

Another quick update, just a stop gap before the Elite 4. I'm considering recording the E4 or even just the Champion but I'm unsure as of now. Team to come in the next and final update.

Made it up to Ecruteak City. Did some stuff there and then beat the gym easily, which is surprising really. After that, we traded in Sera the Burmy and evolved Queen into Slowking. ...That makes sense, doesn't it? Anyway, it took a long time to get Sera to level 20, but we did and now things will hopefully get much easier. Or else.

    CHALLENGE FINISHED!!

-The E4 is so damn easy with my destructive team!
L-orelei got beaten by only Lanturn and Charizard.
-Bruno was no match to Grumpig and Lanturn.
    -Agatha had problems with Grumpig.
-Lance feared all of my Pokemon and the champion is just a piece of dirt.

Damn did I really type Petilil?! Sorry I meant to put Lilligant, do you mind if I take Lilligant instead? I alway mix up their names for some reason. :/ The rest is fine though and I can't wait to get started. :D

  • Update #3 on Sacred Gold.
    • Kanto took a little while to beat because of the route changes the hack has (basically makes you battle the leaders in order).
    • Eventually was able to defeat all the gym leaders. Didn't have much trouble with most of them.
    • Caught a bunch of legendaries now that I had 16 badges, and defeated the Elite Four upgraded teams.
    • Since no one on my team can learn Rock Climb, I boxed Dustox for Snorlax.
    • Finalized EVs and movesets, then grinded and Rare Candied the rest of my team to L87.
    • Climbed Mt. Silver on Snorlax and faced off against Red. Here's a video and play-by-play of the battle:

      Video:
      Spoiler:

I'm almost done with the Pokedex! I have to get some evolutions, breed a Happiny, and then catch the rest of the legendaries, including Arceus. I will make a final update with a video of capturing Arceus, as well as a team evaluation.

    Notes on game changes:
    • Farfetch'd is now Fighting/Flying, with a revamped BST, ability, and moveset.
    • Seaking, Mawile, and Dustox also have some BST changes, although not to the extent of Farfetch'd.
    • Giga Drain is now 75 power.
    • Also, most Pokémon have access to Hidden Abilities whenever possible and/or appropriate (i.e. Dustox, but not Salamence).

  • Thanks for the type variation, I didn't expect it to be so well rounded. I am enjoying it very much.
So I used Universal Pokemon Randomiser to make my starter a Victini, and then I randomised the wild pokemon with catch them all mode. I thought it'd be more fun and challenging than just giving myself the ones I couldn't catch in White 2.
I was right about the more challenging part.

    The Adventure:
-Had to pick between snivy, tepig, and victini. I choose Victini.
-Nicknamed Victini Roxas, because I don't know much about Victini (I just started watching the anime again for the first time in a few years and I'm starting from the very beginning for fun and nostalgia, I bring this up because most of my nicknames are references to the anime, see if you can understand them.)
-Roxas had a starting moveset of incinerate, confusion, quick attack, and focus energy, and learned heatbutt to replace focus energy pretty early on.
-Searched all the grass for one of my pokemon that got away, no luck so it was basically just grinding.
-Beat Cheren, very easy except some of the patrat in his gym knew bite.
-Went onto beat Roxie, very easy with confusion. Now Roxas is very over leveled due to being my only pokemon.
    -Dealt with team plasma.
-Got the insect badge, then Roxas got flame charge and I gave him a twisted spoon that I didn't know I had.
-Headed towards Nimbasa City and searched Dessert resort for a new pokemon.
-Found a Venemoth :D, I nicknamed him Raymond, can anyone tell me what that's from? It was between Raymond and Koga but Koga was too obvious.

I'll go into better details later, I should have updated sooner after playing, it's all kind of a blur now. If anyone has some constructive critisism on how to do my update I'll gladly take it.

    The Team

    Roxas (Victini) Lv28
    Hardy Nature @Twisted Spoon
    Ability: Victory Star
Confusion, Flame Charge, Quick Attack, Headbutt

    Raymond (Venamoth) Lv20
    Timid Nature @None
    Ability: Tinted Lens
    Confusion, Leech Life, PoisonPowder, Supersonic

Sorry for no pictures, they won't let me add any without 15 posts, I had them and they looked amazing.

Forgot to update after I beat Chuck, whoops. Anyway, it was pretty easy. Can't go wrong with a Slowking. After that, I got everyone up to level 33 to fight Jasmine, which again, was relatively easy. I just traded in my final party member Gavin the Surskit. I'll train him up next time I play. I also evolved Fuzzy and got some cool new toys for Death to play with (that sounds morbid, doesn't it?). I can feel the fun part of this challenge coming in soon. My body is ready.
