Torterra is the only final evolution of a starter that wasn't a starter in five games (Diamond, Platinum, and Pearl). While Sceptile was a starter in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby; and Venusaur in Red, Blue, Green, Fire Red, and Leaf Green. ;)
