    Hack of:FIRE RED

    Intro:
    I'm shinypkmnfan13, posting my hack in the scrapbox. Due to the glitch, my thread has been deleted. I had to restart anyway. Well anyway here is the story, hope you like it.

    Story:
    You move to the town of SWEET TOWN. There is no Professors lab?! So you get your starter at your house. After getting your starter, your mom warns you about the evil TEAM SOAR. She heard that they're after a different colored _________.(not telling :P) And that's when your journey begins.

    about your map shinypkmnfan... you shouldn't add so much houses but if you do plan on adding more houses,then you can at least make them less box like because that seems weird when someone lives in a square room.
    make the houses a bit wider and remove some of them if needed.
    or just take away the doors and say that they are storage boxes.
    or make a sign that says "the door is locked.no one must be here at the moment" like teh baro does.
    overall good tiles but don't you think it should be a bit less crowded?
    i know its about nature but it looks like a little too much nature to me.
    good luck though and wasn't there another thread for this?

    • I voted for Houndour/Natu/Tyrouge. But I think you might have to change Dark types to be resistant to Psychic instead of completely immune. Then again, that might be a throw off the whole balance of the game, so it's up to you. Also, if you have Houndoom as a starter, what's going to affect your rival's pokemon, since tyrouge has 3 forms?

    Looks good either way, hope to see what else there is soon and some improv on the story.

    Since you might add D\P Pokemon, why not make Riolu a starter?

    Eevee is good alone to be a starter
    But if you want a starter pattern here's what I think
    Budew,Starly,and Rhyhorn
    They all have similarities
    3 - Evolutions
    There last evolution is D\P
    Btw,Riolu is a starter in my hack

    ok i'll post my starter ideas.I know they are flawed so don't say stuff like "thats a stupid idea" or something else.
    Shinx, horsea, and trapinch/geodude.
    However you should change the evolution of seadra to make it a made up item like dragon stone or something like that.but if you don't want to then just make it evolve at level 35.If you pick geodude just make it evolve by level also.36 perhaps?

    Yea, I'll be making pokemon who evolve by stone, love, or item will evolve at the 40s or 50s.

    Maybe not all pokemon should evolve by Lv.50

    Oh, not them.
    I mean the ones with one evolution.
    Pikachu will evolve at 50 probably.
    Pichu and the other small ones will evolve around 15 or 20.

    I think evolving at level 36 is too common
    I think it would be better for pokemon to evolve depending on their usefulness
    Seadra evolves into a very good pokemon,so he would have to evolve late like 45-50
    Umbreon and Espeon at level 40 or 30 (lower if Eevee is the starter)
    Kadabra into Alakazam in level 50
    thats what I think

    To everyone:
    I am switching to Firered.
    One reason is that some tiles are messed up on the Ruby ROMbase.
    So I edited the first post and the story, I just started mapping but I got pretty far.
    I'm almost done the first CITY.
    And read the bottom of the 1st post.
    It's a new debate. Read the question, post yes or no and why.
