Life of a Ditto

Ditto is a Pokemon that changes its appearance to other Pokemon. Since breeding started happening, though, Ditto is one Pokemon that is almost always used for breeding. How do you think life would be being a Ditto?

I personally will enjoy being a Ditto, unless some trainer catches me and makes me breed with his/her Pokemon.

Trainer isn't technically making the Ditto breed with anyone, just taking advantage of its tendency to want to breed with everyone. All the trainer does is leave it in a Daycare with another Pokemon and hope.

I feel like Dittos would be those creepy, misunderstood Pokemon. Other Pokemon would think that its ability to transform into other Pokemon is weird, and its tendency to sleep around weird as well.

I'd transform into something like a Garchomp or a Salamence and appear in front of trainers and battle, only to transform back once they start pulling out their empty pokeballs.

Wild Porygon (likely from the mass release of them by breeders) are starting to appear. I swear, between those and Ditto, the entire ecosystem of the Pokéworld is going to collapse!

But one can't help and think how many Magnemite/Beldum/Klink must search in order to find a Ditto, just to breed. Perhaps that's where Magnemite migrate to...

It might get boring. You know, anything is possible for them so nothing's a challenge. Maybe Dittos are always unsatisfied, always searching for that one perfect shape to transform into. If they're so keen to breed I would imagine that they're just lonely or bored.

I dunno... prostitution, perhaps? For all those Pokemon who just can't work up the courage to mate with their own species. Probably some good money (or berries or what have you) in it as well.

Or something less sexual, maybe.

As a Ditto, it's nice to copy the powers and abilities of every Pokemon in existence, but it would definitely not be fun having multiple breeding partners (if the concept of STDs exists in Pokemon).

While it would be awesome to transform into certain pokémon, I think you would feel very unfulfilled as you'd never have your own unique identity.

I pity the poor thing. Always getting tossed into the day care with another pokemon and it gets raped by the other one. XD Hell, they don't even get along with each other according to the daycare guy.

The ability to be anyone you wanted to be? I'd LOVE to be a Ditto.

And hey, even if it was caught and made to breed, a life of constant breeding can't be too bad, can it? I'd see it as a win/win life.

I would love to transform into anything, but breeding with lots of different Pokemon is a bit... disturbing.
