Regardless, yeah the leveling system isn't exactly hard. I kinda had to choose between it being difficult and giving people more freedom, and I wound up choosing the latter.

Bearing in mind, people must keep a certain quality to their battles, lest I have to be all "GRRR". By quality I mean that nobody's suspension of disbelief should die during the course of their post.

In other words, no level 80 Charizards roflstomping wild tie dye ratattas to grind levels. Though, we technically have a rule that prevents high level pokemon from gaining levels from roflstomping weak wild pokemon anyway now, so. xD

Personality : Dylan is usually friendly with people, however he isn't always in a good mood. He gets attached to his friends fast and always stands by their side. In his battles, he is always concentrated and analyses every situation carefully. His mood changes quickly to bad, because he cannot stand people who think that they are better than all the others. He also hates being interrupted in the middle of his sentence and really looses his cool when this happens. He never shows aggression without a reason, which is usually someone ruining the pride of his dear ones. He is a person that always says what he thinks, even if it is negative. He is sure to tell you when you make a mistake, giving you an advice how to do things better. He will always take an advice about he should do things and is also open to negative comments, learning from them. When Dylan makes a mistake, he tries harder, being experienced from his last fail.

History : Dylan was born in a ordinary family. His father was a trainer and his mother was a housewife. When he was a child he always used to play with wild pokemon. One day Dylan went outside to play. He usually played near the town exits but today, he choose to play outside of the town because it was more quiet, calm and beautiful. There were cliffs, not far away from the town. He have been there one or two times before and the picture never got out of his head. He decided to go there, and enjoy the view. He got close to the cliffs as he heard a scream from where he was headed to. "Raaalts !" Dylan heard the scream and rushed to the cliffs. There was a Ralts being pushed to fall down by a couple of Zigzagoon. They were probably fighting with it because it got in their territory. Dylan ran and grabbed the Ralts, but the cliff couldn't stood both of them, so they both felt down. The cliff wasn't really high. Dylan hit his back in a couple of branches and they felt in a water spring. "Ralts ?" The small pokemon stood up it turned it's head and saw Dylan. Dylan woke up seconds afterwards "Raaalts !" The Pokemon seemed happy seeing it's rescuer. Dylan looked around and panicked. They were surrounded by Wild Zigzagoon. They had nowhere to run. Ralts stood up in-front of Dylan, now it owned Dylan a favor. Ralts began to shine, Dylan was standing right behind it. "Is it evolving ?" Dylan thought. After a second, he wasn't near the water spring. He was standing in-front of his town's gates and Ralts was next to it. Ralts has used Teleport to get Dylan and itself out of the battle. Ralts waved at Dylan as Mih entered Vermillion City. After that day, Dylan used to play with wild Pokemon every day. He got attached to them and began a friendship with many of the Wild Pokemon and because of tha friendship, he decided to become a Pokemon trainer. His father's name is Wade. He went traveling when he was eight years old. He went traveling, exploring the world, taking sketches of wild Pokemon, searching for rare species. Dylan has also decided to follow his father's steps and always drew different Pokemon he saw. Dylan's mother's name is Mae. After Dylan's father left, she had to take care of all the housework herself, so Dylan helped her as much as he could. One day Mae dold Dylan that he was going to Pokemon trainer school with their pet Squirtle, a Dratini his father had sent them and Ralts.

@StarshipAwesome: Glad to see you're interested. However, your app failed to meet the minimum length requirement for the personality and history fields. Now, if we didn't enforce those, we'd have nothing to go on as to someone's writing skills. That being said, there can be little to no leeway there.

Your character's personality field is approx 2.8 lines long, and it needs to be at least 5 lines long. Your character's history is approx 5.4 lines long, and it needs to be at least 10 lines long.

Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish): Dante is five feet two inches tall and he has a average body build. Dante wears cargo jeans and also wears a red t-shirt along with a fleece hooded jacket. He has dirty blonde hair, but Dante wears a red baseball hat with a capital "P" on the front of the hat. Dante also wears go-googles around his neck and he has a blue-trimed poketch on his left arm. Dante has a brown single-strap backpack that he uses to carry his things in when he travels. Dante has a small scar on the elbow of his right arm.

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): Dante is in way, quiet a goofball, but he is very friendly to anyone that gets to know Dante. In a pokemon battle, Dante gets "in the zone", meaning that he will put all his concentration into the battle. Dante has a liking for flying-type pokemon. Dante doesn't like it when people act rude to other people or to pokemon. Dante likes to sleep outside in the trees more than sleeping in a bed. Dante is a great climber for having lived in Fortree City. When it comes to wearing fancy clothes, Dante often prefers to wear his partically outfit more than the "monkey suit" as he would call it. Dante loves to draw and he goes everywhere with his drawing pad and pencils. When Dante is around other people, he can act like very foolishly and completely embarrass himself.

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What have the been doing before this? Any noteworthy events? What brought them to the academy?): Dante grew up in the treetop city of Fortree City in the Hoenn region. Dante lives with his mom, dad, and younger brother, and he is the nephew of the gym leader, Winona. Dante's mother works as a the local school teacher and his father works as a battle judge at the Fortree Gym. Dante's first pokemon was a Rufflet that his Aunt Winona gave him when he turned 10 years old. Dante's dream is to become the next Fortree City gym leader after his aunt retires. When Dante was young, he almost fell out of a tree that was near his house which caused him to break his right arm. After that incident, Dante has gotten better at climbing things like a medium-sized tree to big tree. Dante got his Combusken when it was a Torchic at Professor Birch's lab. Soon after, Dante was in Petalburg City and there was a power-outage at the Pokemon Center. So, Dante went to investigate around the Center and found an Elekid feeding on the electricity current near the power generator. After that one incident happened, Dante went to the Rustboro City ym for his first gym battle, but was quickly defeat by the gym leader there. For the next five years, Dante has been defeat time and time again by the same gym leader. One day, Dante got mail from his mother telling him to come back home for a surprize. So Dante went home like his mother has asked, just to be shown a letter from a Professor Gary Oak about a Pokemon Trainer Academy in the Kanto region. Catching Dante's interest, he decide to go to the academy to farther his training as a pokemon trainer and help be able to beat the Hoenn Pokemon League. With that happening, Dante left his home and heading down toward Slateport City. As soon as Dante got to Slateport City, he quickly ran over the port at catch the boat that will take him to Vermilion City in the Kanto region.
