Spoiler:

Kanto Champion: Gloria "Glory" R. Williams, played by Seventh Sea
Spoiler:

Gender: Female

Age: Seventeen

Region: Kanto

Appearance: You would not think much of Gloria if you took a glance; she is quite scrawny and not very tall, giving her a very weak and fragile appearance. This effect is amplified by her very pale skin which is often tinted pink due to the harmful rays of the sun. Glory has very long black hair which she keeps done up in a single braid, occasionally with a ribbon woven in. Her eyes are green, though they tend a little bit more toward the blue spectrum, especially when she is wearing blue or purple. A typical outfit consists of a pair of long, gray-green fishing pants- the kind that will seem to deflect water and can zip off to form shorts -and a dark, fairly water-resistant shirt. Glory wears her favorite green and black jacket almost every day, and carries all of her necessary trainers' equipment in her worn, gray backpack. Although she doesn't often wear items on her head, Gloria can sometimes be seen with a bandana over her hair to prevent sunburn. On especially sunny days, Gloria also puts on a pair of simple, cheap sunglasses. The outfit is complete with a pair of dark grey hiking boots and fingerless gloves of the same shade.

Personality: Friendly, though not outgoing, Gloria always assumes the best of people and attempts to solve conflicts with as little physical action as possible. She is not easily frightened, and will try to handle difficult situations with a calm attitude and a little bit of straight-up logic. When confronted directly by unkindly folk, Gloria will do her best to ignore them, or, if the prior does not work, she will result to [hopefully] witty insults. Glory focuses more on the defense and strategy side of battle rather than raw attack or power. She takes her time and can often find ways to think outside the proverbial box. While some of her solutions and ideas are refreshingly simple, others are so complex and strange that many people end op thinking of Gloria as odd or insane. Glory, however, does not mind being thought of as weird and will occasionally look for an excuse to be outcast. In spite of her friendly attitude, Gloria has, quite frankly, poor social skills and can often find comfort in staying away from potentially awkward situations. Because of this, Glory will hang towards the edge of groups or travel on her own. Overall, Gloria is a hard thinker who tries to make the best of every situation, while at the same time preparing for the worst there could be.

History: As mentioned above, Gloria is quite calm in situations which would incite fear in others, and many think of her as being fearless. While Gloria is afraid of many things, she is well able to control her unease thanks to everyday life growing up in Lavender Town.

Lavender Town is quite small, and Gloria spent her childhood knowing everyone- in spite of the mystery of pokemon graves and hauntings, the people of Lavender are close-knit and without secrets. Every child who lives there, however, will without a doubt be convinced to enter the tower by his or her peers as a sort of "right of passage". Glory was seven when an older boy convinced her to enter the mysterious and supposedly haunted building, and she was quite nervous at the start of the attempt. The challenge was for Gloria to climb to the top of the tower, Memorize the inscription on the largest gravestone in the top room, and report it back to the boy who dared her. It was the most terrifying experience of Gloria's life. Once the horror was over however, Gloria decided to study ghost-type pokemon in an attempt to conquer her fear. A shiny, new sylph scope and a book on ghost-types came to Gloria as birthday gifts, and soon all trauma caused by the tower was behind.

Three years after this event, Glory ended up returning to the top of the tower with a completely different goal in mind. As a ten-year-old, Glory was now allowed to set off from home, with a pokemon at her side, bound for adventure. Due to its size, Lavender town does not have a starting pokemon system in place, and so most trainers born there end up heading into Saffron for their first pokemon. Glory, however, did not want to burden her parents with the cost of a trip to the big city, and so she armed herself with six pokeballs and climbed the tower. It is not easy to capture a wild pokemon without one of your own, but Gloria manage to coax a young ghastly into the second of her six pokeballs. Now she had four free for use, and boy she was going to use them.

After the capture of her first partner, Gloria set off around Kanto. Seven long years of travel from town to town. Seven long years of battles and badges. Seven long years and Glory reached the pokemon league, and won. The moment of ecstasy, of disbelief and pride, was like none she had ever experienced. Gloria Williams. Champion Gloria Williams. Gloria returned home with the news, telling all of her friends and foes along the way. When at last Glory took her first step back in Lavender Town, her first step as a champion into her home, she felt true happiness. Gloria's parents had heard tales of Gloria's accomplishments many days earlier, but the sight of their ragged champion daughter was a sight to behold.

Tragically, after such a momentous uplifting, there was a momentous fall. A dangerous villain was on the loose; a cryptid pokemon which kills and eats its enemies, and all are its enemies. Upon hearing of the horror, Gloria knew what her first duty as champion must be.

Poltergeist "Pol" ♂

Item: Pecha Berry

Appearance: Poltergeist, due to his somewhat unusual evolution, did not completely change from haunter to gengar. He is of a pinker tint than gengar should be, and thus much the same color as a haunter. He also has the same disconnected hands that one would only expect to seen on a haunter, and while he does have feet as well, they are likewise disconnected.

Personality: Poltergeist is smart, but a little bit of a pushover. He will listen intently to his trainer and to everything she says, no matter the consequence. Other pokemon on his team will boss him around as well, though Pol picks up a little attitude when commanded by someone outside of his group. Although the strongest team member and expected to be the leader, Poltergeist is not really boss material and gives up the "team leader" title to Matriarch.

History: Poltergeist was coaxed into a pokeball by Glory when she was a young trainer, and has been her most dedicated partner ever since. Normally, haunter will only evolve into gengar if it trades hands; Pol, on the other hand, did not ever leave Gloria's care and ended up evolving anyway. Gloria was not around when Poltergeist evolved, and at first she still believed him to be a haunter. The dramatic size difference and feet clued her in eventually.

Ability: Levitate

Moves:
Shadow Punch
Shadow Ball
Toxic
Venoshock

Franklin ♂

Item: Oran Berry

Appearance: Franklin is about the most ordinary electabuzz you will see. His only defining feature is a scar that wraps around his right arm. This scar was formed when Franklin was messing with a tangle of wires in an abandoned factory and spent three days tearing his skin to shreds when he got stuck.

Personality: Franklin is very curious and playful, which can sometimes lead him to do exceptionally stupid things. While he is not very bright, Franklin is very friendly and he is loved by all of his teammates for his fun and encouraging attitude.

History: Glory found Franklin in an abandoned factory where many electrical pokemon liked to gather. The first time she saw him, Glory decided not to capture him. However, Franklin was cold in the factory that night and decided to curl up next to a warm sleeping trainer. This won over Gloria's heart and she ended up welcoming Franklin into the team the next day.

Ability: Static

Moves:
Thunderpunch
Thunderbolt
Thunder
Brick Break

Jormungad ♂

Item: Oran Berry

Appearance: Jormungand is an ordinary arbok with a nasty habit of chewing on his tail. If this behavior isn't a dead giveaway, Jor can be easily recognized by the resulting broken look, scars, and shredded flesh all over his tail.

Personality: Jormungand is one of the smartest members of Gloria's team, though he doesn't usually use this for good. While Jor does not often bother his trainer, the other team members are always on the lookout for tricks. Jormungand deeply enjoys messing with others.

History: Jormungand, Hel, and Fenrir, was adopted by Gloria from a pokemon rescue center. Supposedly their old trainer had been abusive and all three pokemon had to go through a sort of pokemon therapy before being handed over to Glory. After receiving the three, Gloria changed their names and gave them a happy second chance.

Ability: Shed Skin

Moves:
Toxic
Poison Fang
Wrap
Poison Tail

Hel ♀

Item: Sitrus Berry

Appearance: Not in her right mind would Gloria call Hel shiny, but she does have odd gold patches in places on her face and "hands" that would appear to be shiny skin. Glory does not know whether these are the result of abuse or whether Hel is genuinely part-shiny.

Personality: Hel is very cold and without empathy or sympathy of any kind. She is logical, to the point, and loyal. She doesn't take crap from any of the other pokemon on the team and rarely even communicates with them. Hel is, however, very dedicated to Gloria.

Ability: Levitate

Moves:
Shadow Ball
Shadow Sneak
Curse
Torment

Fenrir ♂

Item: Persim Berry

Appearance: Fenrir is large, even for an arcanine, and his shoulder easily towers over people's heads. Years of neglect while being chained up resulted in thick scars and patches without fur on all four of Fenrir's ankles.

Personality: Fenrir's personality and attitude changes a lot. On occasion, he can be very sweet and charming- a gentle giant. At other times he can suddenly turn aggressive and has been known to bite. Almost all of the time Fenrir is quite stupid, but there are moments where something will seem to click.

Ability: Intimidate

Moves:
Fire Fang
Flamethrower
Extremespeed
Roar

Matriarch ♀ and Todd ♂

Item: Silk Scarf

Appearance: Matriarch is a big, tough, battle-scarred kangaskhan whose elusive soft side is only visibly in her slightly more greyish coloring leftover from her youth. Todd is one of the more unusual kangaskhan that Glory has seen, for while he should have black eyes that later turn red, he actually has light blue ones.

Personality: Matriarch is the queen, the boss, the empress, the all around ruler of the team. No. Questions. Asked. She is down to business, serious, hardworking, and very powerful. Most of the other pokemon in the team look up to her. However, behind the serious, boss-lady attitude is a much gentler pokemon who is loving, caring, and helpful to all of her teammates. Todd, like most very young children, is playful and happy, and he asks a lot of questions of the other pokemon. Most of them find him annoying, but will play along if mama intervenes.

History: When Glory caught Matriarch in the Safari Zone, she was not aware of the young one in her pouch. Although pokemon league official rules declare that trainers may only have up to six pokemon in their team, an exception was made for Todd because he cannot survive without his mother. Once Todd is able to graduate from the pouch, he will be sent off of the team.

Ability: Inner Focus

Moves:
Dizzy Punch
Endure
Outrage
Earthquake

Johto Champion: Ingrid Mayers, played by Jacinth
Spoiler:

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Region: Johto
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Ingrid is tall, 5’6 and about 100 lbs. She normally has her hair pulled back in an intricate braidlike bun (Shown in the picture above). Her eyes are piercing and to her timid Gilligan, a bit intimidating when she’s angry.
What she’s wearing really depends on the weather, but she isn’t all too flashy. In cold weather, she sticks with a sweatshirt, leggings, and hiking boots for snowy days, sometimes a scarf or hat for blizzards.
On warmer days, she wears khaki shorts, camisoles, and sports shoes or sandals; maybe fingerless gloves for when she feels like biking to where she needs to go.
She has a long, knotted scar on her right calf from an accident when she was little.

Personality: Ingrid is stubborn, sassy, and a bit rude; everything that could describe a teenager. Despite this, she is a fabulous trainer, often pushing her Pokemon to extremes to get the best out of them. She’s not very sympathetic when they make mistakes, often blaming them instead of herself for training them too hard. However, she usually gets more mad at the opponent than her Pokemon, being a bit of a sore loser. Even when her Pokemon get hurt badly, she’s more, “Heal now, yell later.” She has been trying to be less harsh since Gilligan’s accident, but without much progress.
Outside of her training life, she’s rather friendly, and normally less serious than in battles. Ingrid likes to kid around and play pranks, sometimes going to extremes to get reactions out of people. She is an excellent liar, able to conjure fantasy within moments and being able to speak it with excellent tact and influence, making her words easily believable.
Ingrid is a bit of a vigilante, not being able to stand violence in public, sometimes even taking things into her own hands than letting her pokemon or the police handle it, which is why she got involved in Team Rocket. As you probably guessed, she has a bad temper that can only be quelled by her friends or Pokemon.

History: Ingrid grew up in Violet City with her father, her mother having died during childbirth. She didn’t make much friends because of her temper, and the ones she did make were normally stray Pokemon. She never had aspirations of becoming a Pokemon Trainer, let alone the champion. However, when she was staying over at her friend’s house in New Bark Town, Elm decided to give both of them a Pokémon to play with. She was happy to make friends with her new Chikorita, and so was her friend, a young man by the name of Gilligan who had received a Cyndaquil.

Ingrid’s father was strict, so she was unable to keep her Pokemon at her house. Gilligan took care of both of them for her, and Ingrid often visited. The pair often talked and dreamed about the day they could leave home with their new Pokémon, together, and become trainers. But their plans were crushed.

When both of them were nine, one year away from becoming trainers, Gilligan got in a bad accident. It is still unclear to the authorities what had happened, but one day he was seemingly murdered, his bloody and mangled body found at the base of a hill near the town, Cyndaquil nowhere to be seen. To this day, the police are unsure of the murderer, and there are no suspects.

Ingrid was completely and utterly broken. She wouldn’t speak to her father, she wouldn’t eat, she wouldn’t even visit her Pokemon who just weeks previously had been so loved. Ingrid was even too weak to visit Gilligan’s memorial.

Ingrid didn’t want to journey anymore. She refused to leave with her Chikorita for years, until when she was twelve, her father passed away as well due to health problems. All that she had lived for was gone. Now she wanted to be gone too.
Ingrid was sent to New Bark to live with Professor Elm and his family, being that they were close to her father. That was the first time in three years she saw her Chikorita. She thought he would hate her, after she abandoned him for so long; but all he saw was a hurt little girl, and he was more than happy to be with her again. Although she was still healing, she decided then to leave on her journey. She named him Gilligan after her friend that had died, and although she was still rude and blunt, with Gilligan’s help, she was able to grow from her mistakes.

It was not long before she realized her talent in Pokemon battles. She also discovered the murderers of her best friend; Team Rocket. They had apparently wanted his Cyndaquil, and were willing to kill for it. She wasted no time in taking them down, no regrets in the pain she had caused.

Before long, she had obtained all eight badges, as well as disbanded team rocket. Although she went through hardships, she was able to conquer the champion, and earn his title.

Gilligan ♂

Item: Durin Berry

Appearance: Gilligan has a burn scar running from his right eye down his neck from a battle with Team Rocket’s Houndoom. The petals on his neck are also a bit tattered. Other than that, he is very healthy and vividly colored.

Personality: Gilligan is rather timid and tends to hold back in battles. He is also very protective, however, which is how he got his scar; protecting Ingrid from being attacked. He also has a bit of a crush on Tasha. Gilligan loves to let Ingrid ride on his back. Even though he is normally gentle, he gets very possessive with his Durin Berries, his favorite food. He always has one with him.

History: Met in New Bark Town, a gift from Professor Elm.

Ability: Overgrow

Moves: Petal Dance, Sweet Scent, Safeguard, Earthquake, Natural Gift

Pabu ♂

Item: Silk Scarf

Appearance: Pabu is very thin and long, with soft and sleek fur. He enjoys wrapping himself around Ingrid’s neck due to his unusual length, so he may be mistaken for a scarf if not for the small silk scarf around his neck himself. He has a small limp in his back right paw.

Personality: Pabu is very obedient and confident, a strange attribute due to the fact he is a weaker species of Pokemon. He has a problem with following Ingrid around, often taking after her even when ordered not to do so. Pabu tends to be a bit rebellious and uncaring towards Ingrid’s orders in general, often coming out of his Pokeball and fighting when not directed. His zeal and passion has been what has kept him safe on the team.

History: Found at Route 29.

Ability: Frisk

Moves: Focus Blast, Shadow Claw, Return, Rest, Sleep Talk

Arbiter "Arby" ♂

Item: Sea Incense

Appearance: Arby is a bit of a dull color. One of the lights on his head tends to flicker on and off when using electric type moves for unknown reasons.

Personality: Arby is generally laid back and his ego is a bit inflated. He hates to lose and often holds grudges against Pokémon that beat him. Arby also has a problem with teamwork; he feels like he has to do everything by himself.

History: As a chinchou, he began to follow Ingrid whilst she was surfing around the whirl islands. She caught him as soon as he was discovered.

Ability: Volt Absorb

Moves: Rain Dance, Thunder, Surf, Signal Beam, Stockpile

Tasha ♀

Item: Leftovers

Appearance: Tasha has an upside down u shaped scar on her flank from her rough tauros battle.

Personality: Tasha is gentle and forgiving, as well as very grateful, which was the reason why she joined Ingrid’s team, as she felt she had a debt to repay. She tends to be a bit smothering in caring for the rest of the team, acting like a mother figure.

History: Ingrid found Tasha injured at the safari zone gate from a battle with an angry Tauros. Tasha happily became part of the team after Ingrid and Gilligan saved her.

Ability: Early Bird

Moves: Swagger, Power Swap, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Baton Pass

Maximus ♂

Item: Expert Belt

Appearance: As the newest and youngest member of the team, Maximus doesn’t have any noticeable scars or injuries. He is very fluffy, being rather vain about his appearance. Overall, he is the epitome of a normal Honchkrow.

Personality: Maximus is a bit awkward around other Pokemon. He and Gilligan are seen as rivals, Maximus often picking on Gilligan when he gets lonely. Despite this, they can actually get along and work well in battle together when needed. He is closest to Pabu, who he often takes for rides. With the other pokemon, however, he is a bit shy.

History: Met in the National Park after stealing one of Gilligan’s Durin Berries. After nearly beating him into a pulp, Ingrid caught Maximus.

Ability: Moxie

Moves: Dark Pulse, Toxic, Foul Play, Fly, Hyper Beam

Parachute ♀

Item: Metronome

Appearance: Parachute is very pretty, with soft, fine fur and long tails that she extends into the air and spreads out unlike other ninetales (hence the name Parachute).

Personality: Parachute is a bit of an oddball. Although being calm, out of the blue she will do odd things no one expects, such as getting playful with Pabu or suddenly jumping out of her Pokeball and tearing around while setting things on fire. She can also get in “moods” being defiant or sassy to the others. She isn’t very careful and is overall clumsy, both in and out of battle. Parachute likes to sleep with Ingrid when they are camping, keeping her warm.

History: Found wandering around during a concert in Olivine City. Ingrid took care of her for a while, and before she knew it Parachute was part of the team.

Ability: Drought

Moves: Flamethrower, Solarbeam, Will-o-wisp, Attract, Dig

Hoenn Champion: Taz Maverick, played by Ray Maverick
Spoiler:

Gender: Male
Age: 17
Region: Hoenn
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Additional Info: Taz is 5'9" feet tall, sometimes wears sunglasses and has black eyes.

Personality:

Taz is generally seen as a very jolly and outward person, always being good company. He is happy-go-lucky but in no way immature or foolish - he might think of everyone as a friend, but he always keeps his guard up. He isn't quick to judge people, he always give them a second chance as he is kindhearted and always has good intentions. He is not the person to hold a grudge over something; he doesn't mind talking about anything with anyone. Taz is over-competitive, though, and overconfident, although he doesn't show it - he thinks being cocky is the key conquering the battle's psychology field, even though he doesn't really underestimate any opponent. He also gets excited very easily and is extremely impatient, always thriving for adventure.

What makes Taz' personality attracting is his talent for expressing himself - he often imbues his speech with his emotions, influencing it heavily, sometimes resulting in misunderstandings that hurt him deeply. He is very sensitive and takes insults or hurtful comments personally; some times he is depressed, but still seeks company.
Despite the negative effect on his behaviour his feelings can cause, he is an open person and would gladly talk about anything with anyone. He's not afraid of laughing out loud, seeming like an every-day person that likes to have fun. Taz's cheerfulness and team spirit are rather contagious; he often inspires the ones surrounding him to join his cause.

Once people get to know Taz, they really start to admire his delicate soul, which is as fragile as an artist's, and as mighty as a warrior's at the same time. He can see through things and their original means; he also possesses the ability of observation in-depth and an amazing prowess at solving mysteries.
Taz's ethics have a positive effect on his personality - he is able to maintain his calm, although always eager and impatient when it comes to adventure as said before.

History:

Taz was born in the majestic Agate village, Orre region, into a family of retired professional trainers. As a kid, he always aspired to become like his father, Romulus, who had won four Underground Tournaments in a row, and to befriend the most powerful and elegant allies like his mother did. When his 10th birthday arrived, his parents decided it was time to set Taz onto his own adventure - and so, they gifted him an Eevee, whose name was Papercut. But he was too young to travel around, so he spent the next three years playing and training the Eevee around Relic Forest. He battled with his father multiple times at the start, Romulus using an equally strong as Taz' Eevee - but seeing Papercut getting stronger, he challenged others from the village and eventually beat all of them, displaying an amazing amount of skill and talent.
Romulus saw his potential as a trainer and decided to take him to Phenac City's Trainer School. The two of them moved to Phenac, where Taz started his course in that school; he was challenging others to battle often.

Another three years passed, Taz had now finished his school course and was ready to take on the Phenac City's colosseum challenge. Having a Jolteon now and two more Pokemon in his arsenal, a Charmeleon and a Metang, he thought it would be easy to get through the trainers - but the challenge proved to be far more difficult than he could ever imagine. Stubborn as he was, he took it personally and trained his Pokemon harder, battling anyone he would see on the streets of Phenac. His father then gifted him his Shelgon who proved to be a loyal ally and a strong addition to his team.
So, after some months, he took on the Colosseum challenge he so wanted to win; only to fail again. Disappointed and heartbroken, he announced to his father that he is quitting as a Pokemon trainer, but Romulus prevented him from doing so, reminding him that we learn from our mistakes. He convinced him that not all was lost, and that Taz was old enough to start travelling around the world. Taz considered this, and he decided to travel to Hoenn.

Hoenn proved to be as challenging and fun as Taz had expected; he travelled all around it, meanwhile training his Pokemon and looking for new ones. Having caught two more Pokemon, a Duosion and a Zoroark, his team excelled at battling; Taz started collecting badges from the Gym leaders, but he had no intention of challenging the league at first. But the friends he had made pushed him towards that direction, and, after hard training, he overcame the Hoenn Elite Four and became the Champion. But he eventually grew bored of the League, even though he was unbeaten by then.
Romulus, knowing his son well, had sent him a newspaper in the mail. The newspaper had something on it which managed to caught Taz's attention; he searched the internet for more information involving it and found out about the terror that had spread.

When the news of the mysterious, exciting but dangerous carnivorous Pokemon reached Taz's ear, he considered it as a brand new level of experience; the life-risking kind of one. He wouldn't miss the 'fun' for a million of dollars.

History: Eric caught this wild beast while heading to the Sinnoh Pokemon League. It was badly hurt by a fallen rock which terribly damaged his wings. Eric guided it to the exit of the Victory Road and cured it with the help of the League's Pokemon Center. Afterwards, the Gabite decided to stay with Eric as a companion up until now. He was actually one of the Pokemon that entered the legends after he defeated his evolutionary form "Garchomp" when Eric was battling Cynthia for the Pokemon League Championship Title.

Ability: Sand Veil

Moves: Dual Chop, Dragon Dance, Flamethrower, Dragon Rush, Sand Storm

Unova Champion: Evelyn "Eve" Abigail Magnolia, played by Claire*

Spoiler:

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Region: Unova

Appearance:
Five feet six inches in height, and approximately one hundred and nineteen pounds creates a petite yet graceful shape. Possessing a body more like that of a dancer, rather than that of an athlete. Eve attempts to maintain an elegant appearance at all times. Her wavy brunette hair, rests just over the length of her petite shoulders. The same hair serves as a frame for a set of soft, almond shaped, blue eyes which seem to pop against the muted peach tone of her skin. Her face is relatively unmarred aside from the small dusting of freckles coating her cheeks.

Her usual outfit consists of one “military style” breathable jacket. White in color, spread upturned collar, long sleeves and closing with five front metallic buttons. Her black toned, crinkle styled skinny jeans are held in place by a functional red leather utility/Pokeball holster. Beneath this rests her flat heel, easy wear, lace up gray boots.

Personality:
Extremely private, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes Eve easy to be misread and misunderstood. She is often considered cold and uncaring, even (by the opinions of strangers) in regards to her Pokemon. A perfectionist that verges almost on the point of self abuse. Due to such traits, Eve is often considered a social pariah. Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, do not come easily to her.

Eve is always positive that her answer is the correct one. To attempt to dissuade her is almost a lesson in futility. She can eventually be reasoned with, only if the suggestion makes logical sense. The inability to express herself in a verbal, or any personal way, has lead to an inability to perceive many social norms for what they are. She approaches life with an analytical approach. Everything can be studied, defined and improved.

Underneath all this, at her deepest core, Eve truly does care about others and their wellbeing. If only she could find some way of letting them know.

History:
One of two daughters born to wealthy couple Gideon and Belle Magnolia. Eve had never wanted for much materially. Born and raised in the bustling heart of Castelia city, Eve was a city girl from birth. The melting pot of incorporated cultures and foods from other regions resulted in a rich, and educational upbringing. She loved every aspect of the city, except having to return home every evening. Eve’s mother was an abusive alcoholic that would result in her being passed out, only to turn into an awakening filled with profanities and verbal abuse. The result was compounded by Gideon, (Eve’s father) not being present the majority of the time and believed the facts to be overly exaggerated.

Being the youngest of the two daughters, Eve was primarily cared for by her older sister Olivia. Olivia resented her mother as much as Eve pitied her. The day Olivia left for her own Pokemon journey was the saddest day of Eve’s life. It was the same day that Eve swore she would follow her sister’s footsteps and become a trainer herself.

A few years later, that day finally came. The dream had now morphed and evolved. Her ultimate dream now to become a renown Pokemon professor, was to begin with her becoming one of the best trainers in all of Unova. She left on her journey, a brief, lukewarm goodbye to her father and a perfunctory dismissal to her mother. She eagerly picked her starter Pokemon, a little Snivy she named Chloro.

She quickly began to progress through the league, losses came, but victories came more. In an effort to provide an original thesis on the habits of Pokemon; Eve quickly shunned the use of her given Pokedex, and instead took her own notes of each creature she encountered and captured. She never realized just how far she had progressed until the day came she stood at the entrance to the Elite Four, all eight Unova badges in hand.

It was then that Eve, with great effort, dispatched the Elite Four and the then reigning champion. The pomp and circumstance that followed, was in fact more difficult for her to handle than the journey itself. She was not well received by the media and people of Unova. Interpreted as “cold” and “harsh”, not possessing “feeling”. Here she stood, the champion of a region who didn’t even deem her worthy.

It was difficult, however she found a way to cope with the reproach. She secluded herself away, one day hoping for a trainer powerful enough to supplant her position. That day has yet to come, and instead Eve has only withdrawn from society more, and delved deeper into her research.

Trainers
Vato playing as Brianna Jennson
Spoiler:

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Region: Johto

Appearance: Brianna has a white, literally perfect skin, with no pimples or any other thing that appears in someone’s face. Her face is round, and her forehead is always covered by a long tuft. She has big, sea blue eyes, and she’s always smiling, letting those around her hypnotized with her beautiful face. She’s exaggeratedly slim, even when she doesn’t follow a diet and eats a lot most of the time. She always wears pure-white dresses and her long, black hair is always being held by a pink ribbon. Her height is of a little bit more than five feet and a half, and her weight is of little more than 50 kilograms.

Personality: Despite Brianna looking perfect, she’s got quite an amount of defects. First, she’s quite stubborn, and thus she will not accept her mistakes, even if they’re huge. She’s a little bit of a bipolar, and thus she’ll be happy one second and furious in the next one. She hates taking advice or help from someone else, and thus, she’ll do everything in her own, unless she really needs help, but even then, she would never admit she’s in need. Despite all these things, she still cares deeply for other people and her Pokémon, and she’ll do everything for them, even if it requires risking her life. Brielle also has a thing for rare Pokémon, which is always making her search in the weirdest of places for Pokémon.

History: Brianna grew up in Violet City, where her father was a clerk at the PokéMart and her mother a housewife. Brianna received her first Pokémon as a gift from her father, who used to be a great Pokémon trainer in the olden times. Shortly after this, Brielle decided to challenge the local gym leader, only to immediately lose. She realized that she had to train if she wanted be strong. After a while, she was finally ready to take on the leader, and after a long battle, she finally earned her first badge, but this was the beginning. After struggling to get the other badges, she went to Indigo Plateau in the Kanto region, where she would take on the Elite Four, Champion, and whoever else stood in her way of being champion. The road to the League HQ was longer and harder than she expected, though, and by the time she had arrived, there were rumors of a strange being that consumed everything standing in its way, naturally, the first thing Brielle thought was ‘Did I just miss something?’. After learning from the locals what was going around, she knew she couldn’t stay with her arms crossed; after all, it’s because of that Pokémon that she can’t take on the champion. Well, that supposing the Elite Four didn’t wiped the floor with her every single time she tries to challenge them. Even though she wants to defeat that Pokémon by herself, a constant thought runs around her mind…, and it always says ‘Will I do such a thing?’

Little Mister Carnivore or "LMC" ♂

Item: Pink Bow

Appearance: This Totodile is slightly bigger than regular Totodile, but this cannot be appreciated unless there’s another Totodile around.

Personality: Totodile is quite cheerful, but lazy and extremely slow. It’ll do anything to avoid fights, even sleeping in battles. LMC is quite strong, however, and wouldn’t hesitate to fight if her trainer is in need (even if she won’t admit it). LMC is also shy, and thus, he easily panics when there’s someone other than Brielle around, unless it’s a Pokémon. Despite being lazy and shy, LMC is quite sociable with other Pokémon, and won’t hesitate to make new friends…, unless there’s people around of course.

History: Brielles’s father has a Feraligatr, which is currently the only Pokémon he still keeps ever since he stopped being a Trainer, it laid an egg which hatched into LMC, and Brielle received the newly hatched Totodile as a gift from her father.

Ability: Damp

Moves:
-Slash
-Hydro Pump
-Crunch
-Rain Dance

Rigby "Rigbone" ♂

Item: None

Appearance: Rigby is a common Zigzagoon except for the fact that its fur is darker than usual, although no one seems to realize it.

Personality: Rigbone is quite curious, and is always wandering around, sniffing the ground, which causes a lot of accidents if he’s in a town or city. For this reason, Brielle tries to keep it inside his Pokeball most of the time, but Rigby is always popping out of his Pokeball, especially during battles, which had led Brielled into trouble more than once. Rigbone seems to get distracted with… mainly everything, be it a small leaf that fell of a tree, or just a breeze of wind, it is because of this that Rigby is always at disadvantage during battles, even when it knows powerful moves. Rigby thinks everything is funny, so, whenever he’s in a battle, he’s laughing all the time. This has led Brielle to several lost battles and facepalms.

History: Zigzagoon was drinking of the lake in Violet City after Brielle had just earned her first badge, and since LMC still had energies, she decided to make an attempt to catch it. It was harder than expected, thought, since this Zigzagoon didn’t stay still for more than five seconds, but after a long chasing and throwing capsules, Brielle finally caught this Zigzagoon…, by the way, it still can’t stay still for long periods of time.

Ability: Pickup

Moves:
-Last Resort
-Crunch
-Odor Sleuth
-Quick Attack

Pinky Pie ♂

Item: Hard Stone

Appearance: There’s something rather unique in this Rhyhorn: IT’S PINK. Researchers are clueless about the reason for this different coloration, but they say it might be because of the weather, but Brielle doesn’t mind, according to her, this Rhyhorn is ‘adorably weird’.
Personality: Rhyhorn is quite closed when it comes to ‘express how it feels’, so Brielle is always having a hard time trying to figure out if Pinky Pie is happy or not. Rhyhorn dislikes fighting, but he’s always willing to fight if it makes Brielle happy, ‘because that way, he’s happy too (BTW, Rhyhorn is MALE, but Brielle hasn’t realized that). Rhyhorn is quite protective, and thus, whenever he’s out of his Pokéball, he won’t let Brielle do anything he considers ‘dangerous’, which is… everything.

History: When Brielle was in the National Park, she saw this pink Pokémon running around scared in the middle of the park. Unbeknownst to Brielle, this Rhyhorn had just fled from his home in Mt. Mortar, where all the other Pokémon bullied him for being ‘different’. When Brielle saw it, she quickly took all the Potions she was carrying at the time, and she slowly approached the Rhyhorn so that he didn’t run away. After healing it, a Pokéball fell from her bag, and hit Rhyhorn’s forehead, sealing it with a beam of light, the ball shacked quickly in the ground, and soon after that, Brielle had caught another Pokémon.

Ability: Lightningrod

Moves:
-Sandstorm
-Horn Attack
-Rock Blast
-Stone Edge

Nikolai Darius, played by Fuyu
Spoiler:

Gender: Male
Region: Sinnoh
Appearance:

"If all people look at is my face instead of my eyes why should I have to bare my soul to them?"

Nikolai has a look that makes you think bleached. Or colorless. His hair is snow-white, soft and reaching his neck in waves. His height is average and he is a thin looking sort. Truthfully, he looks younger than he is, though it can be forgiven due to his carefree lifestyle. He used to wear glasses and the indents are still on his nose. Now he wears contacts, but the Coke-bottle bastards are somewhere, just in case. Wait, what color are his eyes? Well, normally they look blue but most people see them as lilac. It's a trick of the light. He won't let you see his eyes much anyway. Even after his antisocial phase, he's still uncomfortable at looking people in the eye. You will always see his smile however; he's long since turned to rely on his smile to provide a perfectly good method of dealing with people.

His albinism has earned him a lot of bullying over the years, Chalkhead being the nicest thing. In return he's gotten himself versed in the world of street fighting and is much stronger than the wimp of a teenager he had been. Luckier for him, he has a normal skin tone by the fluke of genetics. Excellent for the beach. Not that it matters, he doesn't go for girls eyeballing him across the sand. Scratch that, he doesn't go for girls period. There is a black tattoo starting at the left side of his collarbone and ending at the right side of is back. It did hurt but he's long been someone who enjoys a little agony. It was much easier than screaming about it. He says it’s to match the scars made from shattered glass on the rest of his back. Or he said it was shattered glass anyway.

So, he doesn't have any clue about trends or stereotypes. He wears a pair of swimmer goggles. Just don't ask. Anyway, over his now muscular torso is an ice-blue tee shirt. He hates decals. His pants give the impression of skinny jeans, but they're just blue jeans. His shirt is normally covered by a black hooded sweater. He's not being emo, he just liked the shirt. He hates shoes by the way. He didn't wear them much before and doesn't now. If he has to he will wear flat black ones but that's all. That's not his ordinary outfit however. He normally wears an olive-green tee shirt and beige slacks, his shoes the color of sand, though it takes a lot of work to get him to wear them. The latter is his outfit for work, so expect him mainly in that.

Personality:

"You can use as many sophisticated words as you want. You still smack into a wall like the rest of us."

Nikolai is smart. He's genius smart. He's unconsciously nerdy smart. And as much as he would love to forget it, the world needles him every chance he gets. So he doesn't act intelligent. Nikolai slurs his words, mumbles, and never makes eye contact if he can get away with it. To hide this, he smiles a lot, looks innocent, and secretly plans to leave the group as quickly as possible. He’s never been around people long enough to get to know them and is quite wary of that possibility. So expect him like a loner... with even less people skills.

The locking eyes issue is a habit he developed when he was little. Nikolai isn't exactly a master of opening his shell. That doesn't make him cowardly. No Nikolai is confident in his abilities. He's simply socially awkward and slightly lacking in common sense. Despite his confidence Nikolai hates showing his ability like a performer. He thinks those kind of people are all phonies and self-centered. It stems from his treatment as a child. So part of it is simply jealousy. When surrounded by those kinds of people Nikolai can be quite cutting. Every other time he sounds as sweet as a lamb and mostly can pretend to be so. So yes he is rather two-faced. Forgive him, he just is very tired of having to hold himself back. Yes there's still a little teenage bitterness going on here.

Nikolai respects women. He believes them brilliant and wonderful. However, he can't stand a good lot of them. He dislikes the idea of having to jump through hoops to reach the purpose of a mission or an event as many of them, mother included, tended to make him do. Word games are only so much of his specialty and the fact that many of the women he was around in his life were masters that lorded it over his head never sat well with him. Because of this, he decided to be a straightforward, semi-kind child... unless it suited him otherwise. He is the metaphorical man of many faces.

The funny thing about him is: if you bring up love, he gets rather playful. Even if you're being serious, he will tease and taunt you men, outwardly appearing coy but inwardly rather frightened of the new experience. He hopes you'll stay but doesn't want to believe you will. His distant, temporary life for so many years has made him believe consistent commitment cannot be found in individuals. If you can convince him otherwise, well, you'll see the shy person buried underneath all that bitterness and acting.

When Nikolai is interested in something, and I mean interested to where he physically shoves someone out of the way, you see a whole new side. His twenty sentences a day limit of human speech shrinks to maybe five, perhaps higher to explain something. Not a single smart or sweet remark, just pure fact. It’s the only time you hear him use hundred-dollar words and mean it. His specialty, one of the reasons he was hired, is legends, myths, and old history. He grew up swaddled in old tablets. If there’s anybody who could boast about being a living map and timeline of the Pokemon world, it was likely him.

As someone with many moods and faces, Nikolai is surprisingly carefree. He can up and leave without too many or any strands of regret. So goes it with Pokemon battles. If he loses, he loses. If he wins, he wins. He’ll throw what he believes is worth it to do it and if it’s not worth it to him, oh well. The only thing that he will always keep by his side is his Pokemon, his partners in crime, domination, and discovery. They are the only thing in his life with any sort of consistency and for that, he is eternally grateful and seeks to repay them every day. After all, knowledge changes and grows by the day. His Pokemon have only so long.

History:

"The only time I'm going to stay one place is when I'm dead and that's 'cuz somebody will bury me before I can get out."

Nikolai has no idea where he was born. His parents claim it was somewhere in Snowpoint but he thinks it was Celestic. Regardless, he doesn’t know, his parents have gone to too many places for them to properly recall, and in his personal opinion, it really doesn’t matter. He’s just happy he was born properly in a hospital, even if it was to parents who never developed in him the best sense of right and wrong.

His first real memories start vaguely at the age of five, when he met his Absol as a young, mature cub. Before then, he had been engulfed in a world of legends as fairy tales, old scriptures and readings instead of the trainer’s school. He barely spoke the native language of the Pokemon world properly, having been reading the Unown when he was taught. It wasn’t as though he would have seen it very often as it was; his parents barely stayed in a town, never mind a region, for more than a few months. It ruined his potential friendships, not that he had the energy to make any. Alma took up most of his time.

In a bid for a few moments of settling, the Darius family decided to place some roots in Lavaridge for a time. Their son could go to school and they could research the mysterious ruins and Mirage Tower in the desert. To the parents, and to Flannery, who didn’t mind such a quiet child in her small group of little ones at the gym, it seemed perfectly fine. However, none of the adults were aware of Nikolai’s severe shyness, though he wasn’t either. Also, the issue of Absol was also prevalent in Lavaridge, a town of elderly who knew superstition like the back of their hands. Absol was rumored to bring disaster and unwittingly, Alma and Nikolai did look rather alike. Simply put, the teasing was merciless, especially when Nikolai began to learn. Eventually, Nikolai simply stopped going to the classes, afraid to speak and angry at the children. He couldn’t blame Flannery; there was only so much she could say to the children whose families were likely more suspicious than they were.

Realizing there was nothing else for it, the Darius family eventually discovered this and left, leaving some of their research behind. From that moment, Nikolai started to count the length of time it took for his parents to find what they were looking for. He found it never took long and even when they took him along, his curiosity was left thirsting for more. At the age of twelve, after glimpsing everywhere and more in the region that was thought to matter and having three Pokemon instead of one, he asked to be trained. He wanted to try this on his own. To his surprise, his father consented and even now, Nikolai remembers counting a year to the day of staying in the area of Iron Island and Canalave, where he worked to get a ticket out of Sinnoh and raise his Pokemon. It was at the end of that that he earned his Riolu, now Lucario.

Now, most of what happened after this was a blur of events, sparked from the blur by occasional magazine articles and discoveries that disturbed him to some degree. Nikolai did his best to keep most of his discoveries under the radar, even though the media by this point had coined the name Rune. He did let himself be known for his ability with Pokemon and the occasional Contest with Kepi. Kepi actually earned the Master Rank in Beauty, something that surprised him a little. Nikolai never actually consciously commanded anything in Contest. That had been Kepi’s field and he indulged her in it. That was likely where he was seen before he abruptly dropped out of everyone’s limelight at the age of sixteen, having been caught in a brutal accident during the Sinnoh League, forcing him to drop out.

The year that passed afterward is a haze to even his own memories. Wherever he was, Nikolai is relatively sure it wasn’t anything legal, judging by the tattoo, and even more certain that he deserved whatever smacking his Pokemon gave him to pull him out of it. That earned his desire to at least try and win them a league, though it took him half the next year or more to start kicking the bad habits he was in. Despite that, not long after his nineteenth birthday, he blazed through the Sinnoh League, knocked out in the finals in a long, violent battle which ended in a tie. However, he believed he hadn’t earned the title and gave the victory to a boy who earned his respect throughout the league named Alexander Raymond, even though the boy failed to be Champion in the end. They still talk, even though Nikolai is about as aware of trends as a dead fish and Alexander has never been much of a history fanatic. Alexander is determined to keep Nikolai from losing the right and wrong morals he was just starting to gain back. It's a long and hard road and Nikolai wonders if this will be all worth it at the end of it all. Though that is why he is here at this moment, because Alexander is forcing him and he wants to see if he can pull himself out of the strange abyss he had been falling into.

________________________________________________________________________________

"It isn't because they're my partners that they mean a lot to me. It's because they mean a lot to me that they're my partners."

Alma ♀

Item: Shell Bell

Appearance: Aside from the limp on her back right leg, her eyes are not red but blue like his own. Also her fur is more silver than white.

Personality: She is every good trait that Nikolai struggles to find within himself. Sweet, even-tempered, and earnest, she is the conscience that Rune lost and the steady pillar he clings to when he's utterly baffled by the world around him. She remembers the shy little boy and hopes she will eventually see him again from her trainer's easily haunted mind. It's for that moment that she keeps an eye out for disaster and importance, hoping to keep him from harm.

History: Alma has been with Nikolai since he was a baby, caught by his father to give the boy a sense of stability in their constantly moving lifestyle. Originally she lived on Mt. Coronet but was caught when curiously walking down to the Snowpoint City area.

Ability: Pressure

Moves: Future Sight, Dark Pulse, Razor Wind, Aerial Ace, Iron Tail

Tora ♂

Item: Focus Band

Appearance: His tail is more like a blade than a tail and is incredibly dangerous to those who come across it.

Personality: He’s slightly insane and often bit Nikolai as a Pichu. He’s a pragmatic, instinctual Pokemon who doesn’t shy away from beating some poor Pokemon down with his tail to get the win. Nikolai doesn’t really command him in battle, and to be honest, isn’t sure how he grew to like him in the first place to evolve to Pikachu. Tora won’t admit it, but it was because of the food. He's a bit of a big eater. The only reason he is even remotely a team player is because all of them are strong. Strength means a lot to the mouse and if you don't have it, you're less than dirt.

History: Tora is a Raichu who was hatched from a wild egg from Viridian. Bred eggs tend to be more docile than wild ones. Nikolai picked him up early in his journey and just took care of him as best as he could. It's a miracle how well that ended up.

Ability: Lightning Rod

Moves: Thunderbolt, Brick Break, Iron Tail, Grass Knot, Quick Attack

Kane ♂

Item: Expert Belt

Appearance: Nope, he's an ordinary Lucario except for the X-shaped scar on his forehead. Don't tell him that though, he'll flip.

Personality: Kane's Mr. BALL OF ENERGY! He may not talk fast but boy is he everywhere! Running and jumping and training before dawn; that sums up the Lucario over here. Kane IS the wild child starting every fight he can get away with along with a few he can't. It's hard for Nikolai to keep track of him. Despite his energy, his obedience to Nico's commands is almost second to none. Except you know, when there's dishonor goin' on. He will be right up in the face and punching in the stomach.

History: He had earned the Pokemon working for a breeder in Sinnoh before the league and evolved during Nikolai’s second try at the league. The two of them worked well together beforehand training on Iron Island, even though Kane originally couldn't stand Rune and his strange mannerisms.

Ability: Justified

Moves: Bullet Punch, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Rock Slide, Dual Chop

Pele ♀

Item: Quick Claw

Appearance: Nope, just an ordinary,if slightly derpy, Flygon. Well there are some scars from the Trapinch time.

Personality: She's very slow and oblivious, kindly gentle in her own way if you think about it. Concepts are slow to her which is why she likes Nikolai's concise orders so much. You make sense no issue, you don't, she sleeps on you. Pele is the last mon you expect to lose her temper. People aren't even sure she has one. She has little concept of personal space so expect her to cuddle anyone despite being a bit too large for it.

History: Pele was caught as a Trapinch near Fallarbor Town and evolved to Vibrava to get Rune out of a snowstorm. It was a pretty horrific fight since Nikolai's former Gyarados ran around rampaging everywhere. Thankfully, Pele was forgiving of her new trainer, considering he dragged her out of harm's way more than once. That was likely the main reason he traded that Pokemon away.

Ability: Levitate

Moves: Giga Drain, Dragonbreath, Flamethrower, Earth Power, Aerial Ace

Kepi ♀

Item: Leftovers

Appearance: Are you kidding? She's good-looking enough.

Personality: Kepi is a very peaceful Pokemon, who prefers to passively or gently use her violent moveset to defeat an opponent rather than sadistically tear through them. Every move she makes is to pacify or harm the opponent as little as possible. If she has to however, her style can be a quick, elegant end to a battle. She is docile and kindly and will even calm down verbal arguments that have nothing to do with her.

History: Kepi was obtained by pure accident, or luck depending. A lowly Magikarp came swimming by while Nikolai was exploring the wonder that is Mt. Coronet. Bored, he caught it and raised it into a ferocious Gyarados. Unfortunately, said creature was too ferocious and no matter how many times Tora knocked the guy unconscious (enjoying every smack down), he never seemed to calm himself. So Nikolai, with some reluctance, traded his wild card away to a boy with a Milotic. It seemed the guy was trying to get out of Contests, huh. Anyway, Kepi didn’t seem to mind her new trainer, who treated her respectfully and only made her fight every once in a while.

Ability: Marvel Scale

Moves: Dragonbreath, Return, Scald, Ice Beam, Mirror Coat

Fia ♀

Item: Scope Lens

Appearance: She has a scar over one eye socket, permanently sealing the socket shut.

Personality: Fia is a very special critter with a love of treasure. Her sensitive eyes and ears are Nikolai’s way of finding new places to explore and is the reason he’s been free of many traps in ruins. Wonderfully curious and a little overly reliant on anything other than sight, she is usually seen with Rune, making him laugh and being the optimistic critter. She loves fun and adventure and can't wait to see where this one goes.

History: She is Nikolai’s second Pokemon and his been around half as long as Alma. The two of them get along best, what with Fia being the ever-curious child and Alma the patient mother. Fia was one of the cubs born from Rune's family Pokemon, which was rather amusing. She evolved the night Nikolai went on his journey in Sinnoh. He took it as a sign. Fia ended up losing her eye in a very brutal fight against a Mightyena. It took her a long time for her to get back on her feet and fight again but now she's better than ever!... in her opinion.

Ability: Leaf Guard

Moves: Synthesis, Leaf Blade, Shadow Ball, Aerial Ace, Grasswhistle

Stephanie "Crystal" Dest, played by crebirk
Spoiler:
Gender:Female
Age: 15
Region:Unova
Appearance:I can say just about for sure that Stephanie is the strangest girl you've ever seen! If you didn't know any better you'd say she was from another planet! Stephanie favorite thing to wear is a sky blue spaghetti strap top that seems to glow in the sunlight, and a matching skirt that goes down to her knees. Although the skirt looks as if it were large blue crystals strung together, and if you were to touch it you would cut your hand. (of course that wouldn't happen because it's only fabric) When these aren't available to her Stephanie wears anything that's blue. Dresses, jeans, t-shirts sweatpants, or vests, she doesn't care as long as its blue. She simply refuses to wear anything that's not blue, as if her life depended on it. Stephanie prefers not to wear shoes, but when she does she wears sea blue sandals that you can almost see through!
Stephanie likes to wear matching earring that are bright sky blue just like the rest of her clothes, and on top of all of that she wears a blue crystal strung around her neck. She never takes the crystal off, and never lets it leaver her sight. She often holds on to the crystal when she's worried or scared, as if it will protect her.
Stephanie reaches a intimidating 5' 11" her skin is a light pale color, and she is very skinny some people say shes just skin and bones! Stephanie's face is slightly round and completely smooth no freckles, acne or anything. Stephanie has straight brown hair that goes down to her shoulders. Her hair is freely moving and can easily be blown into her face. Her eyes are a deep sea blue that sparkles in the sunlight, She has a small noes that almost curves back into her head and cherry red lips. (which is usually the first thing you'll notice about her since in contrasts everything else she wears) Stephanie's ears are usually covered by her hair but when you do get a glimpse of them you would see she has large holes in her ear lobes that she hangs her pearl earrings from.

Personality: Stephanie's personality is very wishy-washy and confusing but I'll do my best to explain. Not only does Stephanie dress weird but she acts really weird too. Stephanie often stares of into space when she's listening to someone or even speaking one on one with someone else, she will even just compleatly stop what she's doing and blank out at randome times. She also will often be amused by modern technology that we take for granite. Stephanie also see's things in ways that other people can't. (for example; she can usually see an opportunity or even something good out a problem)
Stephanie is the most late back person you'll ever meet, She is almost impossible to anger, and when you do upset or scare her she refuses to show it, her expression always stays the same.
Although the craziest part of her personality has to be the ability to act like someone else. At random she can act exactly like anyone she wants to!
Stephanie is really good at making friends with people who chose to do the right thing, but she despises and diss trust all criminal minds, and anyone else that opposes her. Stephanie is extremely loyal to her friends, and will put anything aside to help them.
When Stephanie sets out to do something, she doesn't let anyone or anything get in her way, she will act, lie, cheat, and steal to assure her mission is completed.

History: This is a very confusing aspect of Stephanie that would probably be left unexplained... but it looks like I don't have he option of not telling you, so I'll just give you the recent history. (Becouse if I tell you more I'd be giving too much away) Stephanie as strange as it may be, randomly appeared in the Unova region several years ago. Everyone was curious about this new girl and her strange appearance, they asked her many questions, although soon after hearing the response they thought she was ether trying to trick everyone or just plain crazy!
"Hello little girl," one man said "What is your name?" he asked
"My name is Stephanie." she answered without turning to face the man.
"Ah,.. Well Stephanie we've never seen you around here before, could you kindly tell us where you live?" another man asked.
"Oh?" Stephanie spaced out for a second before responding "I live in Costal City of the Rendive nation, It's several years from here."
"Don't you mean 'Several miles'?" a woman in the back of the crowd asked.
"No, I mean several years! I'm from the future!" The people in the crowd start muttering to themselves about this new crazy girl.
"Alright that's enough of this nonsense!" a man in a blue uniform said as he pushed his way through the crowd towards the girl. "In the name of the law tell us where your from!" the officer yelled angrily.
"Haven't I already told you?" she said calmly.
"Fine!" the officer yelled. "Were going to see who you really are!" The officer grabbed the girl and took her to the police station.
After hours of blood test background tests and other methods like it the police still couldn't find where this girl came from, or who she belonged to. Confused and tired the police released the girl not knowing what else to do with her. Stephanie wandered the Unova alone, because everyone she told her story to thought she was crazy.
Eventually she started to wise up and instead of telling people se was from the future she would just casualy say "I'm from the next town over" She found that this made it easier to make friends and to keep out of trouble. Some trainers she had made friends with showed her their Pokemon. Stephanie was extremely impress and amazed by Pokemon. Not only would they make great life companions but they could also defend from attackers of any kind! Stephanie, determined to train the strongest Pokemon, set off on a journey were she spent every second of several years training and caring for the Pokemon she caught. (I'll explain how she got each Pokemon in the Pokemon history) Eventually her Pokemon has reached what seemed to be there strongest points and she decided to test her Pokemon at the eight gyms of Unova. Each gym bitterly failed to beat Stephanie's uber team. Finally she found her way to the elite four, and challenged them beating each one with almost no effort at all. Finally she faced the campion of the Unova region. The battle was short, Stephanie had lost in only the first few minutes of the battle. The strength of her opponent was greater than she had ever expected, and Stephanie's false assumption costed her the battle. Once again she challenged the elite four, once again easily beating them! Although this time reaching the champion she knew what to expect. This battle lasted several hours and came down to the last two Pokemon on each side. The battle was long and well fought by both sides but Stephanie still lost. She challenged the champion many times but not once did Stephanie win. After awhile Stephanie gave up on becoming the worlds strongest trainer and decided to use her Pokemon to help others!

Rules
Spoiler:
No godmodding, bunnying, all that fun stuff. Ya'll know not to do that crap in other RPs, so don't do it here.
This RP will be a bit violent, and it's meant to be scary, but don't go too far. We don't want to give no one nightmares. (Especially not me.) Deaths/injuries are okay, as long as it's not descriptive.
This is alot like a nuzlocke in that if a pokemon faints, it dies. So be careful! (And don't let it get eaten by the crazy Pokemon, either!)
If you're having conflicts, come to me. Also, if you want to make a sudden plot twist, have any ideas, etc, just PM me. In fact, it would be really nice if you would get some ideas for me. (I can't come up with all this on my own, you know!)
Be realistic. Your pokemon can't dodge everything, nor can it hit everything. Sure, we're champions, but we're not perfect.

Here is the first post. LET THE ROLEPLAYING BEGIN

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Ingrid closed her eyes contentedly, hugging her Meganium's neck. Gilligan let out a small yelp of protest, and Ingrid realized she had rubbed against a sensitive spot on his neck, a part of his scar that was still healing.
"Oh, sorry, Gilligan." She muttered. "We're almost to Viridian City; I can walk from here."
"Meg!" He turned and looked at her, shaking his head. But without another word, she jumped off his back, ignoring his protests.
"Too bad, Gilligan." Ingrid laughs. "No matter how much you want to carry me, you're still healing."
"...Meg, megani..."
"Oh, shush it." Ingrid returns the grass type into its Pokeball, making her way through the tall grass without a care. She had been making her way towards the Pokemon League headquarters in Kanto for a meeting. Apparently it had to do with the wild pokemon that had been "eating" other people and Pokemon, and even though she was a bit worried since such cases were rare, Ingrid didn't think much of it.
It will probably just be another repeat of that Drifloon case in Sinnoh a few years back. She thought, remembering it bitterly. A lonely drifloon had been leading children and people's pokemon away, only to keep them in a shed behind Valley Windworks. The culprit was found and captured, and the pokemon and children released, not hurt, just scared.
Really, she was more excited to see her old friend, Brianna, who she had personally invited to the meeting. Even though her pokemon were unevolved, she had all eight badges and was a formidable trainer, no doubt a great help to this mission. And she was eager to meet Kanto's new champion as well. Oh, how much fun I'll have pranking the newbie. She snickered to herself, waving to Blue as she passed by Viridian's gym. The headquarters was located on Route 31, only a few minutes away.
Wanting some companionship, she reached to pull out Pabu's pokeball before hesitating. She wanted to look cool in front of the other champions, and although she would never say it to his face, Furrets weren't exactly the epitome of 'cool'.
Now Honchkrow, that's a different story.
Ingrid released Maximus just as the sliding doors to the building opened, the large black bird quickly making way after her.
"Krow!" He hid behind her shyly when she entered the conference room, eyeing the other trainers and Pokemon nervously.
"Come on, Maximus, man up." Ingrid joked, and he ruffled his feathers, offended. Counting the number of people in the room and realizing everyone was present, Ingrid walked towards the large conference table, the other trainers and champions noticing her at their seats.

First reply, hooray! :D
...
Anyways

Living Qualities
Brianna "Brielle" Jenssen

Brianna was just coming out of Kanto’s Victory Road, with a face expression that could obviously tell she was scared, she was holding, no, squeezing LMC with both of her arms, in an attempt for the fear to go away, the only results were a Totodile struggling with all his forces to be freed from those deathly arms, with no results.

“In moments like these I wish I had a flying Pokémon.” Brianna whispered while Rigbone and Pinky Pie stared at her, Rigbone at her left, and Pinky Pie at her right.

Brianna doesn’t like having her Pokémon inside their Pokéballs, so she would do anything to avoid sealing them in the capsules, which is the reason she’s kicked out of Pokémon Centers quite often, that, and the fact that all of her Pokémon are extremely hyperactive and are always wreaking havoc unless they are tired, which is, almost never.

She finally drops LMC, who immediately inhales a lot of air, and releases it as it falls in the ground. Brielle saw her other Pokémon, they were both almost crying out of tiredness. ‘Poor guys’ she thought, they’re always tired of walking everywhere, but at least, all that tiredness keeps them calm. Brianna stared for a while at Rigbone, he had picked another item. That’s why she loves her Zigzagoon, he’s always finding useful stuff, be it a berry, or even a Hyper Potion.

“What you got there buddy?” she asked as she kneeled in front of Rigbone.

Zigzagoon dropped the item in front of Brianna, who picked it up, and began examining it. It was an evolutionary stone, that was for sure, but Brianna hadn’t seen one before. It was all purple and black in the middle. Without further ado, Brianna placed the stone inside her hand bag, which could carry a lot of items, in exchange of hardly finding them later.

“Alright,” Brianna said, decided, as she stood up, “Let’s go to Indigo Plateau!”

In the moment she said this, a Zubat came out of the cave, and got stuck in her hair, which made Brianna scream, hoping that it went away with just that. After seeing that failed, she started shaking her head, while she yelled at her Pokemon for help. LMC quickly used Hydro Pump in her face, which made the wild Zubat faint, but also ruined her hair. With a little bit of anger, Brianna stared at LMC, who was laughing at Brianna, as well as Rigby and Pinky Pie.

“Let’s just go to Indigo freaking Plateau.” Brianna said in a very angry voice tone. They finally left from where they were, and headed towards Indigo Plateau.

Evelyn "Eve" Magnolia
Current Location: Kanto / Pokemon League Headquarters

Eve sat impatiently in her seat, head resting against her right hand. “Oh lord, can we please get this thing going already? Maybe I should light a camp fire and break out the marshmallows. That’s how all these ghost stories start right?” She exclaimed sarcastically, tapping the index finger of her left hand against the table.

Hiro let out a groan at her feet. The almost six foot, three hundred plus pound Hydreigon curled up into a neat ball rubbed his tail against her leg as a sign of affection. Eve reached down calmly and patted his heaving sides. “Hey Hiro, why don’t you get back in your ball for now?” Hiro shot his head up and looked her in the eyes. “Hy-drei drei, go.” He voiced in protest. “Fine have it your way, but don’t come waking me up at three in the morning because you’re having a nightmare.” She teased him.

Eve straightened up again, crossing her legs at the ankles and smoothing out her pants. The doors opened unexpectedly, and in walked a girl that Eve assumed was Ingrid Mayers by the vacant nameplate. Her Honchkrow following close behind. Eve gave a quick glance at the clock against the wall and noted mentally the time.

This was the first time Eve had actually seen a Honchkrow in person. She quickly pulled out her notepad that she stored in the interior breast pocket of her coat, and did a quick profile sketch of his appearance. Taking special care to detail the voluminous plumage and cravat adorning the chest. She took a few more minor notes and casually returned the pad to it's pocket.

Eve glanced about the table and looked at the others. She really hoped that these stories panned out and weren't just hokum. A crazy young man in a mental hospital, and the critical failure of a mission by the International Police certainly sounded interesting. Eve knew however, that the tales of servicemen were exaggerated with each retelling. However, maybe this would be worth her time after all. Sure she mourned for the dead and injured, but the magnitude of this discovery, if true, could be astronomical.

“So....shall we?” She asked flatly.

Nikolai Darius

Why am I here?

He grumbled this to himself with his sweet little smile still plastered on his face like clown make-up. Really. He was going to give Alexander the worst punishment of his life and then throw him into the paparazzi. It would serve him right. See what the media would say about that. His lilac-blue eyes flickered around him as he examined his fellow room occupants. He heard one of the females shifting impatiently to get started and inwardly scoffed. What did she have to whine about? He had been here early, courtesy of a early drop in the water by a certain jerk's Garchomp. Urgh... at least he had dried off.

“Oh lord, can we please get this thing going already? Maybe I should light a camp fire and break out the marshmallows. That’s how all these ghost stories start right?”

Eve's comment made Nikolai hum, but he didn't speak. He had other matters to attend to, namely that of Fia, who had rolled over lazily in his lap, one eye open to stare at him through the carefully attached Scope Lens. "Fee~" she murmured, causing him to scratch at one of her ears.

"No we're not," he told her solemnly, causing another gentle whine to leave her lips. He understood. She wanted to go home, or back to Xander's house, which was the closest thing they had to a home. "Sorry Fia dear, not for a while yet." She yawned at him and nodded, cuddling back to his chest and going back to sleep. Nikolai patted her on the head and went back to casually looking around the room, expression still as gentle as before.

His eyes glittered. This isn't interesting at all. These people, they were only brought together for their power and their authority. None of them were actual experts in the field of study that could be of help to understand such a creature. They were only people with high positions who now that they were where they were, wouldn't want to lose to someone else simply due to the pride they had recently gained. Nikolai was not a team player by any means, and he knew that. However, pretending that anyone here would be much better was presumptuous of the League.

Arceus he didn't want to be here. Strike him down right here and get rid of his morally challenged rear end now. Make Xander forget his existence and give his Pokemon to a better person.

Darn, he thought that self-depreciating prayer would go in his favor. Oh well. He was stuck. Nikolai, growing tired of looking at all these high and mighty characters, closed his eyes and pondered the seriousness of the situation. Really now, a creature eating humans and Pokemon. Usually they picked just one. Though I don't blame them. Humans supposedly taste excellent over a charcoal barbecue. He wondered if this had a possibility of being connected to the myths. He cycled through the various recent tablets he observed and shook his head silently. More information, he needed to know more.

Nikolai groaned mentally. This was why Xander was worried about him. He had no regard for the devastation or the suffering or all the cleanup that would ensue. He was more interested in the possibilities, of what history could be uncovered, of the facts. No wonder he had lost a year of his life to what he assumed was illicit experimentation.

Great. Now he had an urge for a cigarette. If these children don't get their heads out of their tails soon I am walking out for a Lavars... Who was dumb enough to put a Quilava as their logo and not think they would get sued anyway? Business types...

Stephanie threw herself into the ground in protest. "For the last time, we're lost" she said for the millionth time. Glitch who had been leading them for several hours finally turned around, and Beeped and clicked in response. "We've been chasing no one for the past three hours" Stephanie said flatly "It's time to give it a break" Glitch put its head down accepting defeat. Stephanie rolled over and pulled Glitch's pokeball from her skirt pocket and encased him in it.

Stephanie lay there in the open field for several minutes thinking about what to do next. Kristallion pushes Stephanie into an upright position and then roared loudly telling Stephanie that he hadn't given up hope yet. "come on big fella' lets go find our way out of here," Stephanie said hopping up onto her feet. "Kristallion, Can you search the area for a city or building or power cables or something that'll lead us to civilization?" Kristallion Roared again and then arose several feat in the air and looked around. He froze as he suddenly saw a flat top building. "you see something!?" Stephanie yelled up to her Pokemon. Kristalion roared and the quickly speed of towards the building.

"Wow," Stephanie said gazing up at the monstrous building. "Indigo Plateau, the birth place of legends" Stephanie read the marble headstone in the front of the building. Stephanie and Kristallion glanced at each other both thinking the same thing; What Kind of place is this!? "Well are we going in or not?" Stephanie said pushing through the double doors into the building.

Stephanie gazed around, the building was so much bigger on the inside then it had looked on the outside. Stephanie and Kristallion wandered around the building admireing every little detail. Eventually the two of them made there way to a long hallway that ended in a door marked 'conference room' Stephanie let her curiosity get the best of her. She slowly opens the door and walked into the full conference room.

Stephanie just walked into some kind of important meeting. Her body wouldn't move no matter how hard she tried. By now everyone was starring at her and she new it. She had to think fast. "Sorry I'm late!" She said "There was an unexpected traffic jam in the Johto, I hope I didn't hold you up." Stephanie said quickly looking for an open seat. Stephanie quickly grabbed the last open seat and sat down. Kristallion quietly fallowed confused at what just happened.

Ingrid took her seat, greeting the other trainers. "Hey, I hope I'm not late." She looked around for her friend as Maximus perched himself on the back of her large chair. Ingrid noticed the other two trainers in the room; a rather dainty looking girl with a Hydreigon at her feet, and a thin young man with white hair. Recognizing the girl as the Unova champion but not knowing the boy, she made a mental note to meet with him in a more friendly manner later.

"So... shall we?" Eve said.

"Yeah, I guess we should start. The others can join in once they-" Ingrid was cut off by the sound of doors opening. She looked over to see a rather strangely dressed girl standing in the doorway along with a Cryogonal, a glazed look in her eyes.

She seemed to quickly snap out of it. "Sorry I'm late!" She said. "There was an unexpected traffic jam in the Johto, I hope I didn't hold you up." She took one of the open seats without a nameplate.

"Er, do I know you...?" Ingrid glanced at her Honchkrow, who seemed just as puzzled as she was.

"Oh, lord, I can't see a thing!" Brianna yelled as she tried to pull her wet hair away from her eyes, without any results.

After a while of desperately trying, she eventually kept walking... with her arms holding her hair behind her head, of course.

"Hey!" she suddenly yelled, startling all of her Pokemon, "There they are!" She started running. Her Pokemon were following her, not knowing what was going on.

"The archways!" She yelled with joy, "It's always nice to see them!"

She extended her arms, letting her wet hair cover her face again, and she took a deep breath, 'it's always nice to visit Indigo Plateau' she thought.

"Okay guys," she said as she took two Pokeballs from her bag, "From here on, only one of you shall come with me."

And before any protests could begin, a pair of light beams surrounded Pinky Pie and LMC, sealing them both in the small capsule devices.

Rigbone stared at Brianna with a surprised expression. Of all the times she had chosen one of her Pokemon to be her only company, that was the first time she chose Rigby, she always chooses LMC, but maybe she didn't because of the whole Hydro Pump incident.

"What are you staring at?" she said, "Let's go!"

After a while of walking, they finally reached the HQ. She stood in front of the door, and grabbed Rigbone with both hands. Right after this, she slowly opened the door, which creaked like those doors in horror movies. Before she knew it, those who were already inside were staring at her and her dripping wet hair that covered her face.

"What?" She asked, barely seeing them, but she could still recognize Ingrid, her friend who had already become champion while she still struggled to do so, "Haven't you ever seen a girl with her hair ruined by her Totodile's Hydro Pump holding a Zigzagoon with her face covered by her dripping wet hair?" she resumed after a while.

Everyone just kept watching her and Zigzagoon, who wasn't smiling for once, Rigby and Brianna knew that they were in a very awkward situation.

"Yeah, me neither." She eventually said as she slowly headed towards a seat.

Indigo Plateau
"Another casual everyday accident case begins...Boringly Begins"

The sun shown brightly and the weather was absolutely perfect. Eric, now sitting on a flying Swellow, was in thoughts of why he was heading for Indigo Plateau in the first place. I mean he knew that it was the case of some Pokemon. Really, really weird Pokemon that ate human and Pokemon itself. Now that was just wrong. Eric looked down from where he was and he could make out that this wasn't his natural habitat. Though, he did visit Kanto in his primary stages of being Sinnoh Champion. The good old days. Down on the ground Eric could also see some large as of small city and towns that reminded him of his first visits.

The time drifted fast and it was a matter of minutes till Eric could notice a very huge establishment which had a huge Pokeball design just above the entrance door. The building itself shown quite clearly for the weather wasn't at all cloudy. Eric could also see by the style that it was quite modern, well, it was a little bit advance than where he resided for almost 4 years now. The castle was a good primary appearance but Eric didn't quite get himself stucked up on that matter. All that pre-occupied his mind was the total cause of the current situation. Human and Pokemon eating Pokemon creature. That did not make any sense at all. Was it that it is a new species or is it just some kind of spreading disease..? Was Arceus revenging for some humans that hated Pokemon? Or was it just simply a joke? It couldn't have.. Well, not in matter that it would result in assigning all Champions around the world. Oh well! We'll see when we get there. Speaking of the devil, the Swellow took a sudden deep dive and landed right infront of the Indigo Plateau's entrance door.

"Thank you Fallon" Eric said as he got down from the giant creature "Would you mind telling Professor Rowan that I'll be back pretty soon".

"Swell" Fallon replied with a small smile presented on his face. She then took off in the air with her flapping wings. Eric gave a last glance and then turned to face the gigantic building head on. It looked way much bigger in size up close than in distance view.

"Well, better get this over with" Eric said with a sign at the end of his sentence. Being the Champion was hard work, and here he was thinking it was a day filled with destroying young Pokemon trainer's dream.

Eric made his way to the door and pushed it open with only his right hand. Inside was the presence of different character's and so applies to the present Pokemon too. The door made some rustling noise and it ended up that all the teens inside the room turn to look at Eric. Eric didn't feel embarassed or anything for inside was a completely wet girl, falling over hair with a quite awkward appearance.

"Show-off" Eric thought as he just stood by the door and saw the other trainer's final evolution form Pokemon. Eric didn't care though and leaned on the wall for he saw that all the seats was taken. Eric presented a most calm face meaning "Can we get started please? I have a life too you know..."

None of us want to be here, Joy.

Without putting too much thought into it, he gave the newcomer male a soft and brilliant smile, telling him to cheer up with his eyes. That one, he would play with that one. Make him squirm and dance like a Durant on fire. He seemed to feel secure in his position, generally disdainful of the room around him, and woefully, sweetly inexperienced. Haha, this would at least be interesting. And he wouldn't even have to be in the same vicinity as him for very long either. Fia watched him tilt his head earnestly at the newcomer and yawned out a mewl.

Nikolai ignored this, giving the rest of the room another glance. Feeling for the poor wet girl (at least outwardly) he reached down and pulled a towel from his bag. He walked over and handed it to her. "Here," he told her kindly, letting his blue eyes flicker with warmth. "Sorry I only have one," he apologized to Brielle. "My friend dropped me in the water near here. You can keep that though." With that, he went back to the seat, Fia laying back on his lap without much thought. "What happened to your adventure?" he asked her. Fia scowled and sleepily bit one of his fingers.

Nikolai didn't notice this too much, focusing vaguely on the rest of the table. He wasn't even glancing at Eric after his warm visage from earlier, deciding to toy and toy would be great fun. He thought for a moment then let his voice trickle down out of his lips, looking casually at the ceiling. "Any particular speculation on this?" he asked. "Throwing out some ideas, such as a cursed creature, Arceus' wrath?"

Let's test them, see what they come up with. Personally, he believed Arceus didn't give a Hoothoot about the human race except to mess with them. He could certainly agree with that notion. His fingers twitched toward his pocket and he put them to his sides, He could wait until they left and he was off by himself. No need to freak out their sensitive, good-hearted souls.

Trying to catch her breath at the large amount of strange events that occured, Ingrid paused before slamming her fist on the table, causing Maximus to jump a bit, fluffing up his feathers in alarm.

"Well, I have no freaking clue what this thing is," Maximus sqwaked her disdainfully while she continued, "But I have some speculation. I have a feeling it's some kind of ghost type, with all the fear and paranoia it caused. Especially with the young ranger that's now locked up in a hospital. Ghost types normally cause incidents like this."

Ingrid lifted Maximus into her arms, smoothing his ruffled feathers. "Ghost types aren't that easy to track, though. Do any of you have ideas?"

Lunacy, about the only word Eve could think of to describe this charade of a meeting. The list of people who walked through the door within a manner of minutes was beyond absurd. Each one more ridiculous and uncouth than the last. A bizarre girl and her Cryogonal, another young woman who’s hair was soaking wet, and a kid who placed himself against the wall. Eve hadn’t minded him too much, at least he was unobtrusive.

The odd young man looking at the ceiling had asked if anyone had any ideas. Of course Eve had ideas and suspicions, who didn’t? That’s not what mattered to her, she wanted to know the answer, not more questions.

Ingrid had ventured forth the idea of a Ghost Pokemon, and while not completely implausible, it also didn’t seem wholly accurate. The stories so far seemed to be much more than just a ghost Pokemon. Eve cleared her throat, and shifted in her seat. “That’s all well and good, but when was the last time a ghost sighting had resulted in anything more than inconvenient mischief? Now I’m not saying it’s impossible, just doesn’t seem very likely. Especially considering the IP (International Police) were allegedly taken out by this thing. What are the chances one normal ghost Pokemon can do such a thing?” She paused, letting her comments hang in the air.

“What are the chances this is some kind of religious sect, or cult? Maybe one that believes in cannibalism. I don’t claim to know how, but it could be possible this is some kind of masterfully created ruse to instill uncertainty and fear. If so, then by all accounts it seems to be working.” Eve looked across the table, trying to read the others faces.

“It would explain how it seems to be everywhere, and yet nowhere at the same time.”

Brianna "Brielle" Jenssen

Brielle sat as quiet as possibly as she could, trying to make make any eye contact with the other Trainers, that supposing she could actually see, as her wet hair almost made her trip several times while she was looking for a seat.

Not the kind of popularity I was looking for she thought, and she was right, the most probable thing would be that everyone would now refer to her as that girl with the messy, wet hair.

While Brianna was feeling sorry for herself, a young man slowly approached her, without her noticing because of the messy problem in her head.

"Here," he told her kindly, Brianna quickly grabbing the towel without much thinking.

"Sorry I only have one," he apologized to Brielle. "My friend dropped me in the water near here. You can keep that though."

"Thanks", Brianna said at last, but the young man was already back on his seat, and a Leafeon was laying on his lap.

"Any particular speculation on this?" the young man asked. "Throwing out some ideas, such as a cursed creature, Arceus' wrath?"

Brianna quickly arranged the towel in the space of the table that was in front of her in a very symmetric, yet fluffy square. She was about to slam her head in the towel, but, Ingrid slamed her fist on the table, causing a Honchkrow near her to jump a bit.

"Well, I have no freaking clue what this thing is, but I have some speculation. I have a feeling it's some kind of ghost type, with all the fear and paranoia it caused. Especially with the young ranger that's now locked up in a hospital. Ghost types normally cause incidents like this."

Brianna couldn't see much, but she was sure they were all staring at Ingrid, at least all the attention is slowly going away from me, she thought

"Ghost types aren't that easy to track, though. Do any of you have ideas?" Ingrid eventually resumed.

Ghost types. Sounded logical, yet not so believable at the same time. What was the last time a Ghost-type actually consumed a human, or a Pokemon? I thought ghosts didn't eat, Brielle thought. If they actually did, wouldn't they just had eaten the Rocket Grunts that killed a Marowak in Lavender Tower?

Brianna wasn't from Kanto, but Lavender Town was pretty famous in Johto because of the whole Marowak incident, if you're from Johto and don't know about that, they will lynch you to death for your ignorance.

“What are the chances this is some kind of religious sect, or cult? Maybe one that believes in cannibalism. I don’t claim to know how, but it could be possible this is some kind of masterfully created ruse to instill uncertainty and fear. If so, then by all accounts it seems to be working.” Another girl said eventually.

“It would explain how it seems to be everywhere, and yet nowhere at the same time.”

Without paying much attention to the last thing the girl said, Brianna slammed her head against the towel, making as much noise as Ingrid's fist, or possibly more. Luckily the fluffy square muffled the slam, causing nothing but a tickle in Brielle's head.

She could feel everyone's glare's again, this is not my day, she thought. After a while, she finally separated her face from the towel.

"Sorry about that" she said after a few seconds, retrieving her now not so wet hair from her whole face, "Anyways, about the whole sect-thing, what if they're not just trying to scare people?"

They were still staring at her, not that she minded, though.

"What if they're making us pay for something?"

Eric Stalker

Indigo Plateau
"The Discussion finally gets started"

The situation sounded interesting from Eric's point of view. Many were indicating that it might have something to do with a Ghost Pokemon but really, a Ghost Pokemon would eat other Pokemon? For what such reason would that be. Eric did agree that it might have been a Ghost Pokemon but when you think of it. It seemed quite awkward.

Meanwhile the wet headed girl was trying so hard to dry her hair off, always dropping in her face every time she had to say something. Lucky a boy had woken up from his seat and helped her by providing a small towel to her and had surprisingly told her something on such first glance.

Eric had given the girl and quick look but gradually lost interest when the whole lot started to ask countless number of questions.

Personally, Eric thought that it must have been a new kind of species that Arceus must have had up his sleeve for a long time and thought that now it might be a good idea to let it free roam the lands and put us humans in a panic state. But still questions arose above all. Why would Arceus want us to find something we can't even see? And most of all, why didn't he release that creature a long time ago? Why now?

"Anyways, about the whole sect-thing, what if they're not just trying to scare people?" The wet headed girl said and gladly continued while it seemed that everyone was staring at her "What if they're making us pay for something?".

"Making us pay for what exactly?" Eric replied, a bit in a low tone voice which didn't fit his character and appearance. Eric continued with now in the presence of a wise charm full voice "For loving Pokemon? I won't think as much as that far off. we were intelligent enough to care about them and place them in homes instead of keeping them in the wild. I won't think Pokemon would want us to be their enemy after all what we've done for them. The only fact leading us to that monster is Arceus. For now we don't know if Arceus has been eaten himself, though the main point of theory here is that Arceus created Pokemons, and thus this must mean that he must have created the unknown creature. So if we all used our heads, this must definitely mean that we need to find Arceus". Eric closed his case. He knew that by now, one of them must be using their brains and close this case once and for all.

Hard work being a League Champion. Every single can't-handle-police stuff lies on the shoulders of those more powerful...meaning the Champion himself. Eric leaned his head down while he places his hand in his black jacket like he usually does to upon waiting what the others had to say.

"How in the world do we go by doing that?" Ingrid said after Eric finished. "The item used to awaken Arceus is just a legend, and even if it was real, how would we find it? And who says Arceus even wants to talk to us?"

She waited a bit before continuing. "I think we should just do what the IP did, but better. We set up an ambush for this Pokemon to see what it is, and then we can figure it out from there." Ingrid realized how risky it sounded, but, hey, they were champions, not a bunch of half-trained nitwits. "By the way it sounds, the Pokemon just came to them. It wouldn't be that hard to see it again, would it?"

Nikolai listened with an almost dark sort of curiosity. Boy, did these poor fellows need some work. Ghost types? Ambushes? Arceus’ wrath indeed. He held back a small, sweet snicker, going patiently to pet Fia. He let out a soft delicate hum. The creature, to him at least, was hunting indiscriminately. It was only attacking those it did because they were in the way, because they were there… oh. Oh, now that was an interesting prospect. Maybe he ought to suggest it… no. Let it come to them. It was hard to control the impulse to not just state his theories but he utterly refused to be considered a hypocrite now.

He was rather amused by his new prospect. He wanted to find Arceus? Haha… why would the God look for a worm like that boy? “Gods aren’t perfect,” he intoned softly, soft enough that unless they were close to his side, they wouldn’t catch it. “They aren’t where they are because they don’t make mistakes, they are only revered for the power they possess. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s why humans make legends about them.” He wasn’t an expert on old history and Legends for nothing. Rune may have faded from the public eye, but from his head? Never in a million years.

That one girl mentioned the item that called Arceus being a legend. Ooh… about that… Nikolai smothered a laugh. Best never to say that. He didn’t want any of these power tripped children or human associations to even think of touching that sacred ground without being called. That was how it worked. You were entrusted and they were all too caught up in their power for that to ever happen. That was why Nikolai had never removed it from where it was. He knew he didn’t deserve it.

“Arceus wouldn’t want to talk to anyone…” he mumbled. “If he did, he would be like Mew, letting himself be seen. Simply because an odd creature is going around eating living things doesn’t mean interference with the mortal plane. Or perhaps I should correct myself: Living things with an awareness.” It almost hurt his throat to sound so warm. Someone get him a cigarette.

Nikolai stopped dropping hints and continued, almost to himself. He had a sense that they were listening, but didn’t quite care if they were. “This creature was attacking which came across against it. If we came across as attacking it, it would likely be considered an instant end right? Perhaps we need to be more careful and not go for instant confrontation.” He stretched and returned his Leafeon, rising to his feet. “At any rate… we could all be right or wrong. Whatever the case may be, this will not be a quick solve I think?” His eyes sparkled under his bangs. Makes it interesting… “Since that’s the case, we should probably get to know each other. You know,” He smiled rather placidly. “In case we all get killed too. The IP and those trainers weren’t exactly pushovers.” He went to the door and opened it. “Have fun for a few moments okay? No need to be so sour among comrades.”

As soon as he shut the door, Nikolai pulled the box out of his pocket, standing in the hall with one ear toward the door. The young man rolled his eyes. Conflicting images were the best, really. He lit the cigarette and breathed, dragging the smoke slowly through his system like the scent of a well-cooked meal. He was rather proud of himself for not simply blowing it in their faces. Perhaps never smoking while exploring did him more good than he thought it did. But still… god. That Sinnoh Champion was about as happily glued to his perch as a Hoothoot. So that was the guy Xander mentioned disliking.

That Unova one… what was it… Eve? Lost in her research and stuck stiff. Her rule was hated almost as much as Nikolai’s own would be if he had it. They ought to trade notes or something. The other two… well one he wasn’t sure about, as she hadn’t said much. However, the Johto Champion was a stone cold fool. He knew the stories of the recent Champions. They hadn’t lost a single fight, not since their league entry. Even for all the nuances and fights that came along that war; that still led to complacency. You had to get your butt handed to you once in a while. Nikolai himself never sweat his occasional rear-end bashings, but they reminded him he had effort and work to ever reach the height of others. Not that he wanted to… show-offy little farts.

“Ha-ah…” he breathed, relishing in the cloud that had left his lips. “That just isn’t natural, that creature…” He was sympathizing with it and he didn’t even know what it was. Joy.

This meeting was getting nowhere. Round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows. Hiro was growing increasingly bored at her feet, the faint heave of his chest turning into thunderous snoring. He woke with a shock, the surroundings foreign to him for but a second. Feeling the presence of his trainer nearby, he instantly remembered his whereabouts and returned to his slumberland. Albeit, in a much lighter sleep than before.

The Arceus idea was exceedingly ridiculous in her mind. Not that Eve believed in the old legend of the troglodytes. If anything, Arceus was nothing more than an incredibly powerful Pokemon, put on a pedestal by those who are too afraid to understand it’s potential. The idea of one, all powerful Pokemon being responsible for all this, was amazingly difficult for Eve to believe. Faith was earned, and nothing had earned her earnest faith for a long time.

The odd boy with the white hair went on to make a point, one that Eve whole heartedly agreed with. Confronting this thing front on would be of little benefit. For all she knew, this thing could be attracted to power. The planet’s best trainers all in one place, well, that would be like leading a Tauros to the slaughter.

He rose to his feet and made his way out of the room, making some parting comments about them meeting their own demise. Eve had no intention of dying, a conclusion she couldn’t even accept. She honestly didn’t care about meeting the others either. So far, her conclusion had seemed the most logical and practical to achieve. The room dropped to silence as he made his exit, ideas obviously being processed in the minds of the others.

Eve pushed her chair behind her, the sound unusually loud in the vacuum. Rising to her feet, she called for her Pokemon. “Hiro, come on.” She left without even a parting comment to the others. Pushed open the doors and heard the sound of Hiro following close behind. She didn’t want to meet the others, but at least this one was intriguing. He was right outside, puffing away on his death sticks as Eve liked to call them.

“Hey Powder Snow,” She called to him. “You know those are going to kill you one day, right?” He looked genuinely pleased with the fog that surrounded him, almost relishing the experience. “What a disgusting habit. Have you nothing better to do, than be cryptic and proceed to commit painfully slow suicide?” Eve said in passing, walking to the wall opposite him. She leaned the back of her shoulders against the firm bulwark, propping her left foot against it flatly, her leg bent at the knee.

“Besides, wouldn’t want you to croak on us before you decide to share your full suspicion. Go ahead, wow me.” She said with a mildly antagonistic spirit behind her voice. Ironic, the man who stated they all might meet their doom, here he was, willingly puffing on his.

Who should come out but the pretty face with all head? Her remark made him snicker softly. "No . iss Eve, I'm doing this for my health. That's why I am here, listening to all of you speak of people amd things you have no basis for and lord your titles over each other like kings. This boredom will likely kill me before the stick in my fingers." He let himself smile at her, warmth practically oozing from it. "If I wasn't aware it was killing me, I would have found something else. everything dies at some point, I would at least like mine to be a terrible fight on my own choices."

He smirked a little, breathing another cloud. Wow, this chick was easy. Who would have thunk she would take the bait first? "You'd be cute if you weren't so stingy," he commented passively. Whi knew watching others fail at getting girls would be useful? "And runes tend to be cryptic sweetie, it's why people like me translate them."

He glanced at her through the cloud. "My theory? Hm... I doubt it matters to you." Nikolai gave a long-suffering sigh "People like you simply miss all the fun." He frowned wearily. "I believe there is a creature out there or perhaps it even could be a group of people....regardless, it wants to punish the world... For existing. For living with happiness and taking that for granted. And it yearns for those feelings. So... What better to take it from than those who are fighting it for such a thing?" He paused. "Something of note as well, why did the ones who survive did? Because it wanted to leave a message possibly. To toy with its next players? To strike fear? Or did they not have what it was waiting for?"

He smiled happily, like a child with a toy. "It's all just so fascinating to figure out..."

“Well...sweetie,” Eve calmly responded, her voice showing almost no inflection. An over exaggerated groan left her lips, as she kicked off from the wall. Taking a few steps toward the man, she penetrated the billow of smoke escaping him like a chimney. Her blue eyes flickered appraisingly over him, head to toe and back again. In an attempt to look into his eyes, she held her gaze. Eyes were the gateway to the soul after all.

Pulling herself in close, she whispered in his face almost pointblank. “If we’re the Kings, then you must be our Jester. Go ahead, dance monkey.” She had to do her best to suppress a chuckle. Oh lord, people were usually so droll and vain. His attempts at baiting her were so...quaint. Of course she had to indulge him a little.

Pulling herself away, she let the ‘cute’ comments go unanswered. She had no intention of being ‘cute’. She circled him in the hall, the smoke now permeating the air and pores of her clothing. “So, people like you translate runes? Who exactly are people like you? I know why I’m here, I’m confused as to your presence.”

The white hair threw her, albinism, hair dye? Eve couldn’t know for sure. “If you want my job, by all means, please relieve me of this burden.” She implored him teasingly. “For someone who seems to resent others in power, why don’t you try it on for once?”

Eve paused behind him, her back to his. “Your theory is interesting. Of course, unless you have proof, it’s all baseless conjecture.” Her voice growing distant at the end in thought.

Nikolai chuckled coldly, the action smoothly hiding his gaze from hers. "You are just so cute!" He squealed falsely, grinning as he put out his cancer stick against the wall. "You are just like how I thought and it makes me almost wish you were my type. Change genders okay?" Then, he pulled a small stone from his pocket, casually tossing it like he was ready to lodge it in her skull. "You know, I think I'd rather be the jester. They usually don't get beheaded for screwing up."

He reached out and gently stroked her cheek. "Oh no I am most certainly the one you least want to take your place. I dislike the power and the first thing I would use mine for is to rip this world into depravity, brick by brick. It would just be for fun too. I don't simply hate those in power Miss Eve, I hate those like the Association who hire fools like you and put them in pretty cages. It just seems all sp. Mundane." He locked eyes with her for a moment, grinning like a cat who found a nice mouse to rip apart.

"You ask why I'm here," he stated after pacing away restlessly. "You ask that of all things. Haha....oh dear oh dear. It's just so sweet." The last word drudged out to be heard, calm and chilly like frozen taffy. "Well you see... I am here because of my memory of the entire Pokemon world. I could tell you where Arceus first stepped, the history dating farther back than recorded. Quite simply, I'm a walking history book." There was no pride in his voice, merely a matter of fact nature. He wasn't bragging; this was his heritage, his family's life work and pride. "Also my team is diverse, trained to fsvor nothing and no one." The last was offhand, loosely dispassionate.

"Also sweetie, you ought to be careful." He smiled at her, letting blue eyes flicker into hers. "I don't care if I turn out wrong; it's more fun that way. However the least you can do is not assume you're right. After all, a cult is promising, but since you are all the biggest obstacles to prosperity, wouldn't they have killed you first? Something to consider in you superiority: you are as mortal as lil me."

Brianna "Brielle" Jennsen

After a pair of the members decided to depart the conference room for reasons no one seemed to understand yet. An extremely awkward silence began ruling in the room. A silence way more awkward than those generated by Brianna thus far.

"So..." She eventually said, trying to disperse the thick mist of awkwardness that surrounded them, only to direct everyone's glares to her... once more.

"What now? Do we talk about books or something?" She eventually proceed. Upon seeing her efforts for communication were useless, she eventually stood up, "You now what, we might die in the next hours, we should at least try to get to know each other!" She said, almost as if the was nagging at the others, "Hello, I'm Brianna! I'm sixteen, nice to meet you all!"

Brianna turned around and began walking with a slow pace at the beginning, slowly increasing her speed in a rather unnoticed way. As she came closer to the creaky door, she could start hearing several dialogues that seemed to be from a discussion.

Is that why they left? Brianna asked herself, Just to argue?!

She was finally in front of the door, but she felt like she couldn't just left without saying something more, and thus, she turned around, and while she made weird gestures with both hands, she spoke one last time.

"Brianna, out!" She said, feeling proud of this apparently clever line. As she turned once more, her feet accidentally kicked Rigbone, who had followed her all the time. After the impact, Rigbone began running between her legs while she still tried to walk. Get off, it was an accident!, she thought, and before her thoughts had materialized into words, her face was already heading towards the floor; she had tripped.

The fall opened the creaky door, which made everyone stare at her once more while she laid on the floor. Ouch was the only thing she could think at the time.

"Um... Hi" she said while she stood up. The doors finally closed behind her and Rigbone.

"I don't know what's going on here..." Brianna said at last, "But thank god you still have your clothes on."

Evelyn "Eve" Magnolia
Current Location: Kanto / Pokemon League Headquarters

Eve listened in silence. Her gaze unresponsive as he boasted, his puffery seemingly masked by sincere confidence in his abilities. She locked her gaze with him again. Within that gaze, the looks of two people who refused to bend. A pertinacious spirit resonated between the two of them. Oh how Eve enjoyed this, there should only be more people like this in the world. Then again, maybe there shouldn’t.

“Aww, your concern is touching. Truly it is. Hits me right here,” Eve whispered, tapping the index finger of her hand against the location of her heart. “Don’t worry about me being careful, I never forget my mortality. It motivates me, pushes me to strive for things I desire.” She took a few steps back, this conversation was over. This could go on forever and Eve had more important things to do than get in a philosophical debate with the likes of him. “Besides, nobody would miss me, except maybe people like you and I.”

The wet haired girl barged through the door, a most unwelcome distraction. Eve rolled her eyes in derision. If these were the people that they had to rely on to catch this thing, they were in for a world of hurt. This was her cue however, it was time to go.

Walking up to the girl, Eve placed a hand on her shoulder. “Oh we most certainly have our clothes on,” she said turning to face the man one last time. “I’m not his type, he needs something....a little extra. Besides, second rate minds don’t appeal to me.” This time a genuine chuckle escaped her, oh she did hope they had a chance to talk again.

“What have the others decided in there while Snowflake and I were chatting?” Eve turned to the girl inquisitively.

Brianna "Brielle" Jennsen

After staring at Brianna for a while, a girl placed a hand on her shoulder. “Oh we most certainly have our clothes on,” she said turning to face the man she was talking to.

"I'm sorry," Brianna said, ignoring the fact that the girl was still talking, "I just seem to assume the worst of the simplest of things."

Fortunately, she hadn't heard, or so she thought, because the girl kept talking. At least Brianna wouldn't have to worry about being considered rude for interrupting her.

“What have the others decided in there while Snowflake and I were chatting?” The girl said inquisitively.

"They're like toys," Brianna said, "They do nothing unless you wind them up!". Brianna let a little laugh go, but quickly stopped upon realizing the girl wasn't laughing, "I'm Brianna, but everyone seems to call me Brielle..., apparently it's easier to remember."

The girl didn't answered. Perhaps I'm interrupting something she thought, "I'm sorry if I interrupted something," Brianna said after a while, "I should go."

Brianna turned around, and grabbed Rigbone with her arms before it ran away. And she prepared to leave. Oh, lord, why do I have to do such awkward things?.

Ingrid sighed, tapping her fingers on the table. This was supposed to be a serious conference, not the clownhouse it was coming out to be now. With an awkward silence plaguing the room after Brielle, Eve, and Nikolai left, there wasn't much else to bring up; what was the League thinking with this conference? Talking about it would make it better? Idiots.

Trying to occupy herself, since no one else seemed to be talking, she hummed a song to herself, petting Maximus tiredly. Ne me quitte pas mon chere... she let the lyrics ring through her mind for a moment, remembering how she would lovingly sing it to Gilligan after his accident. She still felt guilt for letting him battle that Houndoom, as the pain from their fire was said never to fade...

Her thoughts were only interrupted by Maximus' frantic sqwaking. She noticed a slight rumble in the ground, and a sound of explosions in the distance. What the hell is that?

Ingrid stood up, hugging her timid bird to her chest. "What's going on in Viridian?!" She asked, more to herself than anyone else. More explosions and rumbling followed. Maximus tried to relax in her arms, and she petted him comfortingly as the sounds slowly began to stop.

I wonder what that was... I guess I'll just have to check it out after the conference. Ingrid took her seat again, humming another melody under her breath.

The peace was shortlasting. Another long string of strong earthquakes followed, and dust fell from the ceiling. Ingrid closed her eyes, covering her ears while Maximus began to fly around blindly in terror. She barely noticed the absence of her bird, instead focusing on what could be the cause of the earthquakes and explosions.

As the tremors slowly faded, she lifted her hands from her ears cautiously, blinking open her eyes and squinting from the dust on her eyelashes. Ingrid was not prepared for what she saw.

Towering above them was a horryfyingly large black and white block. Her heart caught in her throat as she saw the being slowly shift into a different form... A form in the shape of a Kabutops' skeleton, a ghostly aura surrounding it. That ranger... He wasn't... She swallowed, unable to recognize water forming around her eyes out of fear. He wasn't lying... This is...

"Finally, A Strange Presence"

A girl suddenly replied back to Eric. She mentioned that Arceus was merely a legend and that she wasn't even thinking of going on a wild goose chase for Arceus. Eric didn't want to reply her back for she looked quite ridiculous when she imposed that "opinion" down.

The dilude silence annoyed mostly, well some of, the trainers that was present in the room. A boy, followed by a girl that was present, took off and went outside both of them mentioning something that was dull to Eric's ears. Eric kept on leaning by the wall and thought of how many young Pokemon trainer's dream he would have broken up by now if he was in Sinnoh. This really amused Eric though. In a way, he recognize that he also was a young Pokemon trainer with a dream, well not exactly a precise aspects on what he wanted, but he also had an idea encircling him. Eric placed both his hands into his jacket pockets and tried to improvise his time in the most silent conference he had ever been to.

With the seconds clocking forward, none of them could kept the silence, so the wet headed girl tried to break the tension with an idea of introduction. Of all such things, didn't she realise that we were in a conference room with "nameplates" near everyone, which she might just use to identify us all.

Furthermore we were Champions of very different states but for every League that comes up, it's always up-to-date and so meaning that nearly everybody knows each other. She might as well just ask a mammal if it layed eggs. Eric just signed when he heard such thing and couldn't help but smirk a little smile on his face. Now, since Eric was near the door he could hear some very intriging going on on the other side, but it didn't quite resound too well, so Eric rest assured to keep his concentration inside the room.

Suddenly, as the wet headed girl also decisively left off, a sequence of earthquake tremble through the room, well from Eric's point of view it must have covered a huge amount of landmass which could be determined by the extensive force the earthquake produced. Eric grabbed hold of the opened door handle and waited until the vibration stopped. Small dust particles fell from above, the ceiling, which blinded the eye nearly completely. Though Eric wasn't ready for what he was about to see...from the dust particles descended a figure that would mostly shock all the trainers in the room.

A dark shadowy character was floating in mid-air that had the appearance of one of the most ancient Pokemon. A Kabutops, and he was being encircled by what it seemed like a ghost that keep on swirling and swirling around the seemingly floating Kabutops.

"What th--....." Eric exclaimed as he tried to acknowledge what type of being such thing would be. Eric rapidly reached for his jean's pocket to get out his blue Pokedex. He targetted the creature in the air waiting for a response from his Pokedex.

"I'vE fiNAlLy FoUNd yoU" It said with a voice that would surely make you tremble in fear.

What was that thing? But mostly, what did it want?

Nikolai Darius

Nikolai couldn't help but give Eve and Brianna the same soft smile he tended to give women. Then he laughed. "Think what you will Miss Eve," he implored with a small chuckle. "Think what you will." Slowly he pulled out Fia's ball, releasing the cub, who let out a soft, bothered mew. Her stillness unnerved him. "What is it darling?" He asked fondly, worriedly. She simply mewled again, unable to vocalize her problem. The Leafeon merely leaped onto his shoulders.

Then the ground began to tremble and shake distantly. Nikolai frowned softly as it abruptly stopped. "Uh-oh," he acknowledged before more trembling shook the building. Dust fell into his hair and he gently wrapped his arms around his partnr, hoping to shield her from what may. Foolish the urge may have been, it wasn't as though he intended to live long and prosper. The tremors slowly ended. Nikolai straightened slowly and looked around. No injuries so... A grim smile rose to his face. Perhaps...

"Excuse me," he commented lightly, moving past the two females toward the room. Inside was a towering monster. It was shaped like a ghostly Kabutops. It floated over them and seemed to fill the room.with dread. I was right, Nikolai mused. Strong bait we are. He should have been filled with fear and dread. However, his lack of sense only allowed him to laugh. "What fun," he murmured.
