We get it Kanto; the Snorlax is causing problems.

Snorlax is slow and that is a problem due to how critical hits work in the game. Thank fully it has Amnesia to make up for the low Special stat, it comes at a good level at the point where you get it, and its Self-Destruct gains STAB and makes it the strongest move in the game. Give this one a look if you're filling to work the team around its shortcomings.

Ponyta comes way too late and has very average stats other than decent Attack, not Special, and Speed. This makes Rapidash seem like just a dead weight than team addition. Sadly though; it has the Toxic and Fire Spin combo and it has Horn Drill which you can use with an X Accuracy. Meaning I'm forced to rank this slightly above where I would want to rank this. Although even as a Toxic and Fire Spin user there are MUCH better Pokemon who can do this.

It's possible to go through the place blindfolded. Meaning Flash could potentially just waste bag space. But I must use it because the viewers won't want to see an ugly screen.

Venonat may have the worst types in the game but its evolution Venomoth has Sleep Powder and Psychic through level. Not a great Pokemon by any means but it at least has an excuse to be used.

The vocabulary in this game is far too sophisticated than the series' general audience. Patronizing would be more believable word to use. Better than using Spoony though.

I'm not talented if I can beat you. Then again the game believes I put love into raising the Pokemon and would put me on equal footing against the trainers in the game.

In my first playthrough of this game; I never knew that Nuggets could be sold and this fat dude was the first time I found out. I was 9 at the time.

The Jr. Trainer was referring to Gym Leaders. Even the rubbish Gym Leaders are better than the regular trainers in this game.

A Pikachu and a Clefairy with hardly any good moves won't get you very far in these gym battles.

Cue people pairing Jr. Trainers and Pokemaniacs after a single mention of their name.

This was before the Thick Club meaning the Cubone line is a dead weight. Sure it can learn Fissure to work with an X Accuracy but it's too slow to utilize it. It also can't learn Rock Slide; which many better Ground types were blessed with. In short; don't use Marowak since it brings nothing to the table. Don't let the fact how it can learn Blizzard fool you. The Special stat sucks.

This place is asking for me to drain out my Razor Leaf PP. Sure I can go to a Pokemon Center but you would want to make as less trips as possible here. At least that's how I roll when going through the place.

I already want this to be the last time I meet this trainer class.

Exploration?

I go through this area with a nutritious glass of Nuzlocke user's tears. Nothing against the challenge; just the people who attempt drama at it and want the users to care.

That Pidgeotto will die of a heart disease if this keeps up.

Ugly sprite aside; the Exeggcute line isn't that bad. The Psychic type is always sexy, it gets Hypnosis and Dream Eater, Stun Spore and Explosion. The blunders it has though are that the best Grass move it has is Mega Drain and it can only be got at the tedious Safari Zone. Not bad but inferior to Venusaur and Victreebel as a Grass-type and Hypno as a Psychic-type.

Blue probably just used Gyarados because it looked as cool as stuff. No really it's to have a Fire, Water, Grass core going about.

Kadabra is his best team member for obvious reasons but it will go down without a fight.

The last battle with Blue where his Charmeleon has that itch in his armpit.

Blue is as indifferent to the Pokeheaven trips as I am. Not that we'll be friends over it.

Overworld sprite = old ladies, battle sprite = badasses. The math?

Gastly's type is a double edged sword. Sure the Poison type means it has that ugly Psychic bullseye but the Ghost type is pretty good. Sure Lick is the only move it has which gains STAB, which sucks by the way, but the Normal immunity is very useful. It also has a very nice movepool which works with the Alakazam-like stats, only with more bulk for less power. It gets Hypnosis, making it one of the fastest sleepers, Dream Eater, Thunderbolt, Psychic and many more. Gengar is an excellent Pokemon to have in your team.

The Channelers will either be grateful towards me or act like nothing happened.

Tis best if I don't show some of these fights because of how they'll just be Gastly each time.
