Yesterday, I got the news that my new laptop is finally fixed, and currently I'm using it right now. I have tested playing some videos, and turns out it's not as hot as it was a week ago. Back then, the left side of my laptop turned hot for some weird reason, and (a bit of correction here)...

One thing I learned today is that even though the screens might be pre-calibrated, it's a good idea to recalibrate the monitor anyway. Why? Well... at least gamma isn't wonky and it's no longer baked warm. I think I'm now enjoying my display, even in OS X.
