PokéCommunity Get-Together 8 - Anime Music Video Extravaganza

Welcome to PokéCommunity's Get-Together 8, AMV Extravaganza. Do you fancy yourself as a little post production artist? Do you enjoy sound and video editing? Well, what is stopping you from entering? NOTHING, so come on in.

In this event, you will be asked to make an AMV about whatever anime/s that you like. There is no set theme at all, since it is difficult to set one, however, make note of the rules later on.

Important Dates

Round #1: 15th - 19th.
Yes, there is only one round, since creating an AMV takes a lot longer than you might think. In this, you just need to post your submission and the best videos will be decided at the end of the event.

Posting Format and Example

Ok, so if you would like to enter the contest, all you need to do is post your video. If you want to let us know that you are going to be entering, just simply post that you are to enter and then edit your post later on once you have finished the video.

An example of how to structure your post.

Username: Captain Fabio
Name of Video: Bleach AMV
Anime/s used: Bleach
Song used: Spitfire - The Prodigy
Or link if not on youtube: N/A



If you have a problem posting the Youtube video, this is the way.
Take the Link of the video, for example, "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8TbSgNi0QE"
Take the code AFTER 'watch', for example, "v=o8TbSgNi0QE"
Then, remove the '=' and replace with '/'. So it looks like "v/o8TbSgNi0QE"
Then, wrap the youtube tags around it. [ youtube ] v/o8TbSgNi0QE [ / youtube] (Just remove the spaces from the example.

If your video gets deleted...

If your video should be deleted from youtube and won't be allowed back up, don't panic. What you can do is upload your video to a website, for example, www.megavideo.com or www.mediafire.com.
The first will act like youtube, and the second link is to upload the whole file for myself to view.

If you do have this problem, please, let me know as soon as possible. I will do what I can to extend your time.

How do you win? Well, I am going to choose the one AMV that I think is the best all around, taking into account all of my experience and judging it from that angle.
There will be only one top editor, so take your time and think long and hard.
