Darn. I do not like this movie. A true slog. I had looked forward to it as well.
The racism was heavy. No comment there. Disney+ even gives a warning before it starts.
Peter Pan himself was not a likable protagonist. The only redeemable part was Captain Hook himself (who I found myself rooting for). I didn't find the side characters interesting either.
For a fantasy movie taking place in a magical world, the color scheme was completely grayish and dull. I don't see myself ever returning to this film. Bleh
