Damn, I really wanted to play Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I mean all these versions are different and were made by different developers, so I hoped it was a good enough loophole.
In that case, I have this list of games:
Might & Magic 2: Gates to Another World
Baldur's Gate 2
Croc...
May
Wow, it's already the end of May. And I played the total of like 5 hours this month. Taking care of my newborn son had a bigger priority. I managed to finish like 2 side quests in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which I'm actually enjoying more and more I play it. But I also had almost 3...
Nice, I like this one. It took me a while to pick 4 games, but I think you'll like the selection:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (PC version)
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (PS1 version)
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (GBC version)
Harry Potter and the...

Beat Donkey Kong. It was both longer and shorter than I expected. I thought there is only one level. So I was surprised to see two more. But I also finished them fairly quickly. Nice trip to the roots of gaming tho.
I remember using it on Mewtwo during my first playthrough of Yellow. And I used my Master Ball in my first run of Sapphire on Kyogre. Which I regretted later, because I had to hunt Latias for days with Ultra Balls. After that, I don't think I used Master Ball at all, usually keeping it in my...
I had to use a guide to get them. I also remember I talked with some other Pokémon fans during that time and they didn't believe me, when i told them about this side quest to get them. They thought I'm just making it all up.
It's clear to me now that with a newborn baby, I won't be able to start and finish Void Stranger on time. So I'll resort to the plan B mentioned in my original post and play something from Switch retro library. Most likely the original Donkey Kong.
I also started with Gen I games, but I don't really see Kanto as my starting region. I would say Hoenn is more fitting, since Sapphire was the first game I bought with my own money. But if I could choose, I would pick either Kalos or Alola. Who wouldn't want to live in this tropical paradise?
Barely. I usually play the play until I'm still having fun, not until I fill some imaginary counter. And most games have pretty boring requirements for 100% completion, like find X copies of an item, climb Y towers or clear Z enemy camps. But really worth it in my opinion.
But I did 100%...
April
Super late update this month. The real life had a huge priority. But April was pretty fine month. Dragon's Dogma 2 was pretty bad, but it was the only outliner that month. I focused more on indie titles. TELETEXT was fun short puzzle game and The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo was charming...
Since I do challenge runs, in which I usually just best the it's pretty low number. I think I can beat most games in 20 hours, some (like GBA games) even faster.
On the other hand, in my non-challenge runs, I usually have 100+ hours per save file. My original Alpha Sapphire save fe has maxed...
