First you need the Location of all the data that you want to be edited, then you can start making your tool.

I believe there is a way to reverse engineer some commands, and there is a way to reverse the action replay codes to locations on the ROM.

Nobody answered your question because you didn't give us enough information to work with. What exactly did the Error say?

I realy love you! It's right what you say, i spend only spend one and a half hour online the last 3-4 days... So i have not been ingnoring any one...

I found the offset some days ago, And made a tool for it, Now i just need to make some kind of header system for it, Because people have been reporting bugs, but it has all the time just been because they used wrong roms...

Text Editng is not hex editing, you could just open the rom in Notepad... But i got some stuff about Hex Editing... Im making a Text Editor, and you will not just be able to write text, but here are some stuff i also are gonna put in...

First sorry if my replay to SGA and TDF-guy was mean... I just got pist at crab like that...
Ok, so first let me apoligice... I don't have much time to Summer brake, which I wanted the first version out before...
I have less then 3 weeks back... All this week i get by school about 4 pm and have to go their 7 am, and it's 35 minuts away (I'm trying the job as an elcktrician) then next week is a Projekt week with a Very inportent projekt... I need to go to school at 8 am in the morning, and can more or less decide what time I get of school by my self, But it's very inporetnt so I'm not gonna hurry, then the third week is easy, School from 08-12 eveyday...
But then just in the hacking I need to do some stuff before... I'm working with Neos, and we need to make the second beta of Sea Blue edition first, Then Gabe and me are doing some D/P scripting realated stuff, Then I would like to take a curse in VB too... Sorry if I'm slow... I have to solutions, that I get another programer, This is a great task for him/her, so if you like programin but don't wanna do boring reseach then aply....

I have a point though, he's lucky to get the tool, I mean, Sebbe has to go and use complex stuff to make the tools, and I'm guessing it's kinda boring and hard, meanwhile Darkly_the_flygon (and, to be honest, I don't do anything for it either) just sits around and gets to use it for nothing, and what does Darkly_the_flygon do? He complains. If he thinks Sebbe being to slow, then he should either go make his own tool, or ask to help Sebbe.

Well I've found out the tilesets in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
These tiles are also the same in PMD2.
You could make a map editor from these. ;)

Without tools, over half of the hackers in this site would be left having to learn hex, and that would be difficult, not to mention that tool makers ARE hacking the games, they have to know where all of the offsets are for each thing they want to make the tool edit, and they need to know how to make the tool edit them, as well as how to make the tool itself, which is a whole other thing they must learn, which they go through so that they can make a rom-hackers life easier, so in reality, tool makers are basically the kings of the hacking on this site, without them, the balance would be corrupt, the hacks in the hack showcase would be non-existent. On that note I really hope you were joking...

(I honestly dont care if that post was just bait, and I took it, it needed to be said cuz I commend tool makers, great work Sebbe! And all other tool makers out there!)

Wordpad isn't designed to handle files that are 32mb. You can also accidentally remove bytes that will totally destroy your hack.
Just use a hex editor. You don't need a table file. Just text edit things in a hex editor.

Well, Only I tiny bit is displayed in the ASCII (Wordpad) you are not really able to do any thing... But I can tell I have been sitting up most of the night and solved pretty much scripting out... Now I fell so stupid I didn't understand what the DB command did... But now I do!
