This is the best Gold remake ever.Its the fastest hack the closets to be done.You got this far in like 5 months thats amazing!

Zel's already said as of right now he cant script it into the game, thats why I said I "wish" it could be in the game. But still this is a GREAT game I cant stop playing it right nOw!!! Haha. I think I may put this on a catridge when its 100% done and keep it for trading to D/P. Its ALOT easier/funner way of getting Jhoto Pokemon.

I personally think it would be a bad idea to have the shiny gyarados, because if people DO intend to put this on their flash rom, then they can just trade over the shiny gyarados, and clame that they caught it. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

Really?I don't think so.
When you trade a pokemon to another rom,its summary always have the ID of the previous trainer,if that ID is different with trainer's ID,people will know(unless both 2 trainers have the same ID :badsmile:

Zel,you should change the music in the Lighthouse.The Safari zone music is better,it makes me even more excited for travelling;) .Can you import the surf music in RSE to SG?That's my favorite music,it's softly:).
One more thing,can you change the outside of Lighthouse?Its uncool,I think :)

Zel, have you done anything to the trainer tower yet, cause if you havent good, there is pokemon in there that is shiny all the time, now if you could, you can look at its data, find the shiny flag, copy it and apply it to the gyrados.

The pokemon is Espeon BTW.

In VR cave there actualy is one trainer; Silver.

Yea, you got a point, but you fail to see that if the person has more than one cartridge of Pokemon, like me for example, I have all of them except for Emerald, (I am missing out T_T) and my main game is Fire Red, so I start new games of my other ones to see if I can catch a shiny whilst I train my pokemon from Fire Red (before EV training). So, they could make up some story how they caught it on a different cartridge, rather than the same one.

True, but the information in the trainer memo would probably prove it to be illegit because it would probabbly say something like "met in Celedon City at lv. 30 or something like that since the mapping is differed from the games but its still Fire Red. And i dont think there are any Lv. 30 wild Gyarados... Maybe in RSE but not FR/LG

Well, it wouldn't. Because first of all, the entire continent of Johto is spread throughout the Sevii Islands. And, since they all are renamed, it wouldn't say the real name, because it doesn't exist anymore. So, it would say caught at lv.30 at Lake of Rage, and that is what would be funny.

Great work zel, nothing I can say really other than keep working at it. The best thing I can think of for the Shiny Gyarados is to insert it under a new pokemon and repoint to all it's moves etc. It's not perfect but It'd work. By the way, I sent you a PM, I can help you in the music editing department.

I've got an idea with the music, personally I like the RSE battle sound in the Lighthouse, but you could try to get that also to be the normal trainer battle music in Kanto. That would be cool :)

Well if zel did that, hearing the same battle music playing while running around Lighthouse and hearing the same music while battling others in there, would make the music sound more repetitive, and wont flow with the playing aspect, so it would be a little bit more annoying to hear it over and over repeatedly more often then less, am i wrong? But it would be cool to add more music to increase the soundtrack.

An unedited game doesn't need the data, if the pokemon are transferable, then it should say the name of the edited area. I am going to test this out right now. I will post a screen shot when I am finished.
