    O,o I got the names of the towns confused XD... I meant the gym in hawksham >.< It's the one that is glitched.

    I'm still trying to do something with the bell >.>.. It still plays...

    About the wild pokemon header... we change that using amap right? I'll try to do that as well XD...

    @M_T I can send you the patch that changes only the bicycle.. when you patch that to your modified rom, you still keep the changes you've made, and have the changed bike.

    the offset you gave doesn't work... I'm gonna put in the luxury ball icon for now...

    @M_T no I don't know why that happens.. the FoR rom loads for me O.o

    Er..I don't think that would be a good idea adiktus. well, it would have been, but I tried inserting some music so stuff is changed and it's not the same like before.
    so I'd need a completely new patch for an unmodified rom ^^''
    I could try changing the colour of the grass animation then.

    I tried assembling and it crashed. Now if I open my old sappy, I can listen to the ingame songst there (what I couldn't before, so it's great). But when I try assembling...it crashes!
    Though this worked before, so that's kinda ****..
    since I can't insert music now anymore. Maybe my kernel32.dll was harmed, and that's not a really easy to fix problem...

    Neti, why don't we ask our beta testers about the wildpokemon-header? in fact they are testing our hack, so maybe they could decide the best on which lv the pokemon should be and which pokemon it should be. but they should also be neutral, (i don't wanna see a lv 1 charizard at route 1 xD) so we can do our work and the betatesters have also more to do? what do you mean?

    Ps: does sappy work for anyone of you?
    Since I can at least try to loop files, so somebody else could insert them if I can't get mine working..

    Okay... I'll try to change the bell sound for now.. into something more appropriate.. maybe some sound effect in sappy as well... btw, sappy 2006 works for me as well ^^... but I have yet to try assembling songs...

    @Eeveon XD... yeah.. but if we look at it logically, that luxury ball will be the seventh pokemon if the hero has six in the party... isn't that illegal in the pokemon world? XD

    @M_T ok, I'll send the patch after I change the bell sound..

    @SA.. we need an arcanine sprite without the hero... it may or may not have movement sprites but it's probably better if it does ^^

    @adiktus i thought Neti already has inserted the arcanine sprite of coronis? if yes, we have just the front sprite, but this is ok. because my arcanine (which the player use) is too big to insert it.

    BTW. @Neti, there is a new OW resizer for FR on WAH, i remeber you wanted one?

    Regarding the arcanine sprite... I can't seem to find it.. well, maybe we should let neti confirm it and sort it out...

    I believe "someone" is equal to neti, since he created the account and is as far as I know the only one who knows the password xD

    And since you know much about programming etc I have two questions:
    1.) You may have recognized, my sappy crashes when assembling and I read that in such a case the kernel32.dll has crashen/is harmed (ok..that's not really somethin about programming xD).
    But do you know what I can do to find out if it's okay, or if I could just replace it with one from the internet without getting problems?

    2) Okay I've got only one question xD

    If the sound is in sappy, get off offset and search for a pointer, and change it accordingly. :P

    "kernel32.dll" shouldn't crash. >_> That's really weird... D: Try finding it on the internet, and replacing it in System 32 folder. (BACK IT UP FIRST!) Then register it, and try again.

    Okay, @M_T I found a bug on the script tiles you made.. even when I got the arcanine, the sound still changes... to fix this, I'll have to recompile an edited arcanine script, and variable 0x4050 will be set to 1.. just so you'll know the new value for 4050... XD

    Oh, and I changed the bell sound... there was no arcanine cry in sappy, so I used the sound played when you press start (and the menu appears).. (thanks to darth for helping me with this)

    there's a little problem darth..I simply can't replace or delete this file. It keeps telling me "in use by a programm etc.. Close all programms which may use this file (it's in german normally, I hope I translated it well xD).
    But..no programm is opened. I even restarted my system and the first thing I did then was copy and paste...same problem.
    So I can't use sappy anymore :'(
    one of you will have to change sounds, I can only loop them.

    the file kernel32.dll is important, it handles memory operations and is used for every programm you start..also the explorer, so if I right click on start-exlporer to replace the file, it's already in use!
    the only way I could replace it would be to run DOS and replace it this way, but I think it's to dangerous to play around with such an important file.
    I don't even know if it's crashed or harmed, they say it's possible that that could be the reason for assembling not working.

    So..one of you guys will have to take this part :D

    hey M_T... I'll send the patch over to you once I'm done scripting some persons/signs with missing offsets... I'll throw in a save file as well so all variables will be corrected. and do we really need to change the offsets for those in hawksham? I'm not very creative for messages XD

    Okay, I've sent the patch to M_T.. here's a list of what I've done:

    -changed the bike to an Arcanine, with the correct picture and details and the bell sound has been removed
    -scripted the girl after the first cave (has no offset)
    -scripted the man in the bar.. (also no offset)
    -made a sign script for the sign beside the bar
    -changed a sign in hawksham

    Eheheh, I always post here saying I've sent the patch before even sending it XD.. uploading now.. and I thought you weren't online XD... Okay... if you want, I'll start a new game and save right before going to the arcanine farm ^^ (once again, I haven't done this yet coz I thought you weren't online XD)

    No problem. Apparently the Pokemon crys are .WAV, so Sappy wouldn't support it anyway. >_>

    Yes, several DLL are important and can't be deleted... Well... I have no more ideas, I wouldn't recommend deleting it then... Just go without. :P

    @Everyone: I've concluded that I have no mapping skills at all... :( So I've made no progress in my hack, at all. If someone could help me, that'd be great. (The problem is, I have no imagination of what they should look like...)

    Okay... I've just realized a problem XD...

    I have no idea when this occured.. maybe when i changed the bike.. maybe when Neti inserted the sprites.. no idea at all... but when I started a new game, the pokemon that appears beside oak changed to a "shadow arcanine"... literally.. an arcanine that's all black O.o

    Hmmm... I definitely made this happen O.o.. I tested the patch before I changed the bike and it was alright... I'll try reinserting the bike again >.<
