I don't really hate American music, apart from hip hop or anything related, but media are a pain in the arse. Celebrities are alright, theyre just normal people, well, most of them..

I'm sick of people who can't live with other people's opinions and have to make a huge deal about it when someone disagrees with them.

For example, the everlasting Macintosh vs Windows battle. I respect everyone's views about what computer they like, but all the Windows fanboys freak out if you insult their beloved PCs and want to convert you with all their facts they spent too many weekends looking up.

It's ridiculous how disrespectful people are these days. Whatever happened to "you are entitled to your opinion."

:( And Mac fanboys aren't the same? If they aren't spouting stats, they're going on about how much easier Macs are to use, how Microsoft "stole" all the good ideas from Apple, etc. Honestly I hate both sides of the debate, lmao. 8/ Apple fanboys used to be one of MY biggest internet annoyances not too long ago but everyone seems to have mellowed out over it recently. :[ I find neither side as annoying as before, haha. Though I still can't stand those "I'm a Mac! 8D" commercials, orz.

I just can't stand the radio in general; sometimes the odd good song will come up but it's totally ruined by the radio because they overplay and overhype it.

I also hate it when I'm talking to a person about a song and they're like "Oh my god, that song's so two years ago! This new song's amazing, blahblahblah." Just because a song's a little bit older (and come on, two years is NOT that old, people. >_>), doesn't mean it loses all value and meaning. People tend to treat songs like elementary school fads; in one day, out another. It's irritating. D:

I never said the Macintosh fanboys are angels and right about everything. It was an example, because they too do the exact same thing as Windows fanboys.

Which brings me back to my main annoyance: no one respects people's opinions anymore.

Yeah, that's right, I said it; Rap music sucks. All of it.

Dude, anyone who dislikes rap has no problem saying they do, just because they know how much of a horrible music genre it is. XD;

As much as I enjoy The Beatles' music, I'm pretty sure they were not gods of music. ;)

I also don't like how Elvis is called the "King of Rock 'n' Roll". Sure, he changed history. But he's not the King. Personally, I enjoy Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and the previously-mentioned Beatles more.

Things I hate.

1. People with earpieces. I always think they're talking to me, and I start answering them, only to realize to my horror that they're speaking into an earpiece. The dirty looks they give me are even worse. I want to make them eat their phone.

2. People that can't drive. This encompasses roughly 98.5% of all Californians. I was seriously once stuck behind an old lady in a MUSTANG going about 40 on a freeway. I almost, almost performed the PIT maneuver on her.

3. People not being able to speak or write English coherently, even if it's their first language. Seriously, people, your language is how you communicate. Learn it sometime.

4. Anyone that hates on other people for their likes/dislikes or beliefs. I want to kick them in the head multiple times.

I can't stand those freshmen that talk extremely loud in the lunchroom for absolutely no reason and wear large sunglasses indoors. I mean c'mon, not even those wild seniors are THAT loud. And what's with the sunglasses? Not only is it cloudy outside, BUT WE'RE INA FREAKIN' BUILDING. One day me and my friend just pulled one of them over and asked, "Did you have a challenged childhood?" Honestly, it makes me think if I was that obnoxious during freshman year.

Nope, not at all~

Wanna know the difference? I don't come here and say "Everyone who listens to rap music pisses me off." Just saying that, in my personal experience (especially with all that "hardcore/gangsta"-rap crap that seems to be so incredibly popular today for reasons I'm still entirely unaware of), rap music just...generally isn't very good.

But yeah, again, that's just me speaking out against one specific genre of music, not the people who listen to it. There's a difference between disliking a certain genre of music, and making everyone who listens to that genre into one huge stereotype. It's the music itself that I dislike..not the people who listen to it.

...Basically what I'm getting at is that people are always gonna like different things. If you don't like what one person listens to, fine, that's your right. Just don't put everyone else who might happen to listen to that same genre of music into one category, claiming that you "hate them because of what they listen to."

See the difference?

You're assuming that he automatically says rap sucks because everyone else does. There's such a thing as a personal opinion, and the fact that rap sucks is his own because he's actually listened to some of it only to conclude that rap does, in fact, suck as a music genre.
