Medium sized blue thing - Big Blue thing not to little green thing :/

The third evolution should've been a frog in the first place.

Hmm....I'm pretty sure they're based after frogs. Poliwhirl being the tadpole and Politoed being the frog. :-D
Oh wait.....that'd be Poliwag, not Poliwhirl.
Maybe Poliwhirl is the frog at the stage when it loses its tail but not developed enogh to live on land yet or something?

Yup. It would be Trapinch & Vibrava. I mean, a large mouth Pokemon that bites hell turn into a bug like dragon!?!?! Come on!

Yeah, I always thought that was weird too...but Flygon makes up for it.

Another weird evolution would have to be...Eggsecute [spelling?] and Exeggutor. Eggs evolve into a....palm/coconut tree?? Unless the eggs are actually the seeds of the coconut or something...

Exeggcute isn't (or aren't) actually eggs. They are seeds. Which look like eggs.

But it's still wierd...



5 eggs > one coconut tree with 3 heads.

Pokemon are based on evolutions. [highlight]Evolutions[/highlight] are major changes (or mutations) in the DNA in each offspring for many generations.



Possibly, in the Pokemon world, this new "weird" evolution is to help the Pokemon adapt in other/new environments.

- To conclude this, in the Pokemon world, Pokemon with weird evolutions is just to probably help them live in other/new environments, to protect them better from prey, etc.. The Chinchou → Lanturn evolution, for example, Chinchou possibly evolved to Lanturn because Laturn lives deeper in the sea than Chinchou does.

HA! i laugh in the face of evolution. i really dont belive a word it says just because there is so much flaws in it..

Seriously, the first time I played emerald, i never would have imagined that Shuppet evolves into Banette. It's such a weird evolution and I don't find any similarites and any connections at all. o.o;;

Oh and Trapinch into Vibrava which turns into a Flygon. Seriously, a erm, crap thingy turned into a bug-dragon thing which sprouts huge wings that can levitate? o.o;;

And Remoraid into Octillery. How can a fish, turns into an Octopus? unless... Remoraid isn't a fish?

I realize that, but insulting him won't solve anything, and will only get you in trouble (which I will be getting into as well if I don't get back on topic) Personally, I'm religion, if only because of my parents, but I still believe in evolution.

Back on topic, Drowzee ---> Hypno was a bit odd...What happened, did he get old and lose weight lol?
