Name- Jake Samuels
Gender- Male
Age- 15

Appearance- Jake stands at about 5'8", weighs around 135 pounds, and has long, curly blond hair. He wears a tan sweatshirt, and dark brown pants. He carries a Rosary in his pocket with him at all times. He carries his wallet in his back pants pocket, which holds a picture of himself and his family in it. Although there is a lack of money in his wallet, which defeats the purpose of it, he has it with him for personal reasons. Occasionally, he takes off his sweatshirt, revealing a plain white tee shirt, which usually is dirty, as it is rarely shown. He has deep blue eyes, thin brow eyebrows, and big dimples which are seen quite often. He has a medium build, so he is not the strongest guy around.

Jake has legitimately had the exact same pair of shoes that he has had since he was 13 as well, as they signify holding onto the past, and the family that he used to have. Jake will not, under any circumstances, replace them.

When the weather cools down, Jake will don a pair of regular blue jeans, and wear a black long sleeve shirt under his hoodie instead of the tee shirt for extra warmth. If it is cooler than normal, a green winter jacket will be worn as well. It is actually rather new compared to the rest of his clothing, and still looks new as well, with no rips or tears.

Personality- Jake is rarely seen serious, and is always laughing, not only at others, but at his own jokes, and occasionally his own blunders. He is a complete klutz, and always trips and runs into random objects (most notably, glass doors). He is extremely sarcastic, so it makes it even harder to believe what he says. Although he is in touch with himself, he finds it hard to get close to others because of his humorous nature. Most women stay at the "just friends" stage with him, because they don't think he will take a relationship seriously. He has a deep care for his family, who he left behind to start on his Pokemon journey. He keeps a picture of his family in his wallet to remind him of home. He and his sister were very close, and she is the main reason he keeps his wallet with him. When his anger shows, it isn't much to be scared of. He is usually all talk and no action, but occasionally he will act upon those who upset him.

Jake is a naturally nosy person as well. He wants to know about everything, and why everything happens. This is probably most attributed to his past, wanting to know why his father left their family, causing so much turmoil and grief. He will go take any measures necessary if he wants to know something badly enough, and generally won't stop until he has the information.

Jake is also extremely cautious. With everything that has happened to him, he wants to make sure that he will not be the cause of anymore grief to himself and his mother. He cares about her so much, that if he actually does do something wrong, he takes the necessary measures to hide it. Jake isn't sure what his mother is capable of, and he most certainly does not want to find out. Losing his mother would devastate him, and he isn't sure if he would actually be able to handle it.

History- Jake lived a troubled childhood. His father left his family when he was only 5 years old. Although he was the youngest, it impacted him the least. His sister was 12 at the time, and she had a deep bond with her father. It hit her hard when he left, and she thought she couldn't carry on. She took her own life selfishly, blaming her father for her depression. With those two events happening so closely in his life, Jake seemed hopelessly lost. His mother seemed to be in the same condition, leaving to family members within a month. She blamed herself for the situation, and she rarely talked with Jake out of shame. Eventually, she did move on, but it took around 6 years. With a picture taken when Jake was 3 years old, he decided that it was necessary to help support his mother.

Jake took on a lot of odd jobs. He traveled to Viridian City by bus to working in a local restaurant as a bus boy. He was paid minimum wage, and he didn't get many hours. After a few months, Jake quit this job in pursuit of something better. With work experience under his belt, he felt confident in finding another job. He traveled to the Poke Mart, where he gained a job as a cashier for local trainers. Jake was paid more than his previous job, and had more hours. Sadly for Jake, his mother needed him at him, so he had to quit this job as well.

When he reached age 15, he decided he would catch the first Pokemon he saw, and try to gain money for his mother through battling. When that day came, he used a Pokeball he bought from the mart when he worked there, and, with his mothers consent and support, went to go find a Pokemon. Professor Oak found him out there, and quickly called him to reason. He told him to meet him in a week, where he would be giving new trainers Pokemon as well. He invited Jake to join those trainers and start his adventure the correct way.

Jake quickly let Vulcan out of its Pokeball while they both searched for Pokemon. A Pokemon's intuition is just as important as a trainer's senses. Jake and Vulcan were actually having trouble finding anything at this point. It seemed the superfluous amount of Pokemon seemed to have dropped a little. Jake, disappointed enough, thought it was time to go look elsewhere, until Vulcan pulled on his shorts.

"Char! Chimchar!" Vulcan said with anxiety, as it pointed over to Jake's right. Jake looked over quickly, and saw a little Pokemon emerging. It was blue, and its head was gray, almost looking like hair. Jake held out his Pokedex.



Bagon, the Rock Head Pokemon. Dreaming of one day flying, it practices by leaping off cliffs every day. It is a dragon type Pokemon, and its moves are Dragon Claw, Dragonbreath, Metal Claw, and Dig.

Wow, what a tough Pokemon. It would fit my team very well. Looks like I'm going after my first catch!

Vulcan knew what was about to happen. It quickly jumped in front of Bagon, taunting it a little. Bagon quickly moved into battling position, and it looked determined. Its hands turned silver and shiny, metallic.

A Metal Claw eh? Thankfully Steel type moves don't damage Fire types much!

"Alright Vulcan, wait for it to hit you once, then counterattack it with a Scratch attack!"

Vulcan stood in its place, just watching Bagon come at him. It was actually quite fast from what it would appear to be, and Jake was shocked and happy all at once: If he caught it, he'd have one heck of a Bagon. Bagon charged Vulcan, and landed a blow. Vulcan was barely phased by the hit. It barely even budged him. Instead, Vulcan raised his paws, watched the claws extend, and slashed at Bagon multiple times. His blows were relentless, and Bagon was shot backwards. Jake hadn't noticed that it used its head to take the shots, so Bagon just bounced right back up. Damage was dealt, but not as much as planned.

Bagon quickly retaliated by using a Dragonbreath attack. Jake knew that he really only had one option to the attack: Counterattack. Dodging would be senseless, as Bagon could continually unleash the attack until Vulcan was tired out.

"Ember Vulcan!"

The fiery blasts launched directly into the purplish-orange breathe. The moment the two collided, it seemed a little energy ball formed between the two. It kept growing larger and larger, until the ball exploded. A thin cloud of dust was shot up, but there was still visibility. Both Bagon and Vulcan were shot into trees behind them. They weren't hurt from each other's attack as much as the landing itself. They are just little Pokemon anyways. Both quickly pulled themselves together, as neither was going to give any ground to the other. They were both determined as could be, and they didn't want to lose.

Bagon's claw started to glow again, but this time the same color as the Dragonbreath attack. It was time for a Dragon Claw, and Jake went with the most sensible move this time around: Dodging. He quickly ordered Vulcan to dodge the attack, where he dodged with a surprising amount of grace. Bagon was lurched forward from the force of its own attack, and it landed on its head. It quickly bounced back up and reversed its direction. Vulcan dodged once more, but this time Bagon was smart: It anticipated the movement, and jabbed its claw upwards, hitting Vulcan in midair. Vulcan was hurt, and was pseudo-flying. Bagon sat down for a moment, jealous of Vulcan. It decided to use Dragon Claw on the ground, and launched itself into the sky. It extended its arms, and just enjoyed the moment.

I hate to ruin its fun, but I need to take advantage of its moment of weakness.

"Tackle Vulcan!"

Vulcan was somehow above Bagon in the first place, possibly from being launched higher than Bagon was. It used both its own power and gravity to gain speed on Bagon, where he quickly rammed it into the ground, stomach first. It wasn't giving it the easy way out this time around. Vulcan landed on its feet, standing above Bagon.

Bagon hatched up a new plan though. It avoided what Vulcan wanted, and burrowed into the ground. It was using a Dig attack, the only move Jake hadn't seen. Jake was shocked to see it move underground as fast as it did, and he was getting worried for the shot.

This isn't good. It can come up at any time, and Vulcan doesn't even know where it is going to come from at all. It could keep us sweating for a while for all we know. We've just got to-

Jake's thoughts were quickly cut off, as Bagon emerged from underground quite quickly. Jake couldn't even react in time to think of a strategy to combat with Dig. It just came out of the ground and wailed on Vulcan. Ground type moves, being quite effective on fire types, clearly meant that damage was going to be dealt. Just from looking over, Jake could see that Vulcan was wincing in pain. Either way, he wasn't giving up. Vulcan got back on his feet. Now things were personal, and Vulcan decided it was all or nothing at that point.

Bagon burrowed underground again. Jake anticipated that, and had already started thinking about a counterattack on Bagon. It took a few seconds, but it came to him quickly. On his command, Vulcan was to use Ember into the hole that was left behind by Bagon's Dig. The fiery blasts were directed through Bagon's burrow, and it hit him directly. It was quite obvious when the tunnel lit up from the impact. Bagon quickly came out of the ground, and laid above it. The fire hurt it, even though dragon types resist fire. It was holding onto its left paw, and Jake could tell that the heat had burned it. Weakening its attacks, Jake knew from this point on he had the advantage.

Jake decided to actually start the attacks this time. He called out another Tackle attack, but to use the environment to his advantage. Vulcan quickly bounced off of trees, trying to gain both speed and force. Bagon stood in place dazed, and it lost track of Vulcan. Little did it know Vulcan ended up behind it, and it used a powerful Tackle right into Bagon's back. It clearly did a bunch of damage, as Bagon was launched into the air with more force than anticipated.

Bagon decided to use that to its advantage though. It quickly turned itself around, and used the same strategy Jake and Vulcan just used. It bounced around the trees, gaining even more force than that of Vulcan's Tackle. It quickly charged in with a Dragon Claw attack. Even with its power weakened from its burn, it was more than enough to knock Vulcan into the ground, damaging it greatly. Vulcan still refused to give up ground though, as did Bagon. Both stood in place panting. They knew that they didn't have much left within them, and would have to only launch one more two more attacks.

Bagon dug underground again. Jake didn't want to try to use the same strategy twice in a row, as it could very well fail in the end. He decided to have Vulcan climb the nearest tree, away from the ground, where Bagon couldn't hit it with Dig. Bagon came up quickly, and just launched into the air. Bagon was filled with joy, as it was pseudo-flying once again. Jake decided to let it have its fun this time, as Jake thought of a little detail: Having that much fun, it won't think enough to land properly. Jake predicted correctly, and Bagon landed stomach-first onto the ground, where it cried in pain once more.

It knew it was losing, so it was time for something drastic. Bagon looked at both of his claws, and hatched a plan. His left one was charged with a Metal Claw, while the right one was a Dragon Claw.

It can do both attacks at once? Dear lord, that amazing! Of course, it wouldn't have learned that WITHOUT ME or anything!

Bagon just charged Vulcan directly, climbing the tree in the process. Vulcan was hit from behind from both attacks. He was launched into the air, where Bagon jumped up and hit him again, launching him further into the sky. Vulcan landed head-first, and seemed to be out of the match. Still remembering how personally this fight had become, Vulcan scrounged together what strength it had left, and stood up.

Vulcan, without order, launched an Ember at Bagon. It was a lot bigger than what it was earlier, and Jake didn't really know what was happening. He gathered information from the Pokedex.

Chimchar's special ability is Blaze. When the Pokemon that has Blaze is down on its last energy, an extra power boosts kicks in and multiplies to power of its Fire type moves.

This is just perfect. A super powered Ember should be more than enough to do the job that it needs.

Bagon counterattacked with a Dragonbreath. Once again, the two moves collided. This time, however, it seemed to be a power struggle: The two attacks moved back and forth, waiting for the other to give out. 3 minutes had passed, and the attacks were still colliding within each other. Suddenly, a bright orange-red light shot out of the Ember, and pushed Bagon's Dragonbreath back towards it. The charged Ember hit Bagon directly, and it knocked it to the ground.

Bagon attempted to stand back up. When it reached its feet, it started wobbling back and forth, and it fell back to the ground. Jake threw one of his Pokeballs at Bagon, where in a red beam of light, Bagon was pulled into the ball. It started shaking back and forth…

Name: Kenny Jones

Age: 16

Gender: Males

Personality: Kenny is a very outgoing teenager he loves meeting new people and going to new places. He is very adventurous and courageous and he loves to do dangerous things. While Kenny can be very annoying at times he usually is very easy to get along with. Kenny is a quick thinker and can make choices in the blink of an eye he is a natural born leader even if he leads people into tough situations he always can get them out of it. He is willing to help his friends in danger and put him in risk in the process. Kenny loves to battle and has some good strategies up his sleeve. Kenny has a good photographic memory and can remember what happened when he was only one.
The downside to him is that Kenny always says that he is right and will rarely accept that he was wrong and he is very independent so he sometimes won't like people helping him and can get into some really bad fights. Also he can go straight into anything he wants to do without planning much which means he and people around him can get into a lot of trouble at times.

Appearance: Kenny is quite handsome and lots of girls love him. He has black hair reaching his cheek and light brown eyes he is about 6" 2" tall and has quite a bit of muscle on his arms and legs with a light six pack on his chest. Depending on the weather he wears a brown cowboy hat and black sunglasses. Kenny usually wears a black t-shirt with a red jacket and black sleeves and he usually wears blue denim jeans with a black coloured belt which can hold pokeballs but he tends not to use it. He has walking shoes which are red and black in colour and when Kenny goes rock climbing he wears a pair of black gloves. When it is cold he wears black and red hoodie. He carries a sling bag which is blue and red with a pokeball in the middle and has six slots where he puts his pokeballs.

History: Kenny was born and raised in Pallet town with his mum who divorced his dad when he was only little tried. She tried to keep him out of trouble but as Kenny says "Trouble always finds me" and in school he was nearly in detention every week. When he was little his parents took him everywhere but when Kenny turned three his father had a car crash which killed to other person who was only 21 years old. From then on his father went out at night drinking and never came home until it was late and one night Kenny's parents had an argument which ended in his father leaving with his stuff and never coming back.

During Kenny's school life he made some good friends and was very popular at school even if he did get in to trouble a lot. He never worried about anything in school and only when an important test came up he revised which was enough to pass most of them even getting some A's and B's.

In the school holidays Kenny and his mum would go to the countryside where they had a little cottage. There Kenny would play with the Pokemon there and go hiking in the mountains nearby. When Kenny was 14 while hiking he found an injured Charmander in a cave that day Kenny risked his life trying to bring Charmander down the mountain and to the nearby Pokemon Center he did this by having Charmander on his back and a couple of times he nearly fell off a cliff. After that day Charmander always came to play with Kenny in his cottage.

On Kenny's sixteenth birthday Professor Oak came to his party and personally invited him to get a Pokemon. Kenny was so thrilled he could barely sleep for too weeks waiting to receive his Pokemon. His mum made sure everything was ready on the day and then it was time to receive his Pokemon.

Post Sample:Jack was flying back to M.t Pyre when he saw a figure standing, waiting for him. As he got closer he saw it was Giovanni. Soon Jack landed and called Dragonite back into his pokeball.

"It's hard to find you" Giovanni said with no expression.

"I'm a hard to get guy" Replied Jack.

"Well I have a job for you. Would you like to take it?" Asked Giovanni.

Jack's eyes started to glow blue then he spoke "One of your commanders was killed late last night and you want me to lead 100 Rockets into battle against a base of Freedom Fighters on Dewford Island" His eyes turned back to blood red.

Giovanni started to clap "Ha! You have done a lot of training haven't you?"

"Well then," Smirked Jack, "Where am I going to go?"

"To a base in Littleroot Town. First, though I want you to read Professor Birch's mind so we can get a picture of what their base looks like," Replied Giovanni "Oh and Marshtomp Heads"

"Easy I'll see you there," Smiled Jack "Go Dragonite." Jack jumped onto Dragonite and they flew away at an amazing speed.

It took a little over an hour to reach their destination in the sky he could see the Grunts running about hurrying to do stuff. As he was landing a group of Grunts circled and aimed guns at him.

"Who are you?" Said one Grunt with long hair.

"I am Agent 002, Jack Jackson, and the password is Marshtomp Heads" Shouted Jack.

The Grunts quickly put down their weapons and continued with their own jobs. Jack jumped off Dragonite and called it back into its pokeball. Looking around he saw that all houses had been flattened to the ground and hundreds of electrical equipment was scattered around. There was only one building which used to be Professor Birch's lab until it was rebuilt into a 10 story building so Jack started to walk towards it. Inside there was nothing but two staircases one going up and the other going down.

"Looks like the infamous one has returned" Said a voice in the shadows

Jack looked towards where the voice was coming from and prepared for a fight.

Personality:Oliver is of a fiery nature. He loves the exciting parts of life and will do anything to get away from the repetitive routine. He learned the hard way when trusting people, so he always tests them in various ways on trust matters. Whether he tells him a juicy, but fake secret about himself and waits for the person to spill the beans, or asks them to fulfill a promise. He always keeps people on this challenge, and only one person has passed, his best friend Amelia, a trainer from the Hoenn region, which he met on a vacation. He also has the strange trait to never get cold, as in the middle of winter he never wears a jacket of sweater. Although he never gets cold, he hates rain and water, as he can't stand water type pokemon either. He also is unafraid to leave an uncomfortable situation or a environment that is harmful to him. Although one of his favorite hobbies is adventuring. He loves to explore the unknown in the world, searching for the undiscovered...but usually he just goes to the nearby national park and treks the woods looking for new places and intresting views because most of the world has already been cartogrpahed.
Appearance: Oliver has a distinct face with a slim nose and moth. His eyes are hazel with a touch of red. He has hair the color of fire that goes down to his shoulders, but not in a girlish fashion and it ends in a V at the end. He has a muscly, distinct chest, which he wears a white, skintight, long-sleeved shirt with gray lining on the sleeves. He has long, lean legs that give him a height of 6' 1''. He wears black cargo pants with a pocket chain that leads into his back pocket, where he keeps a utility knife. He has pockets going down on the sides to about the middle of his thighs, in which he keeps various items, some he doesn't even know he has. He wears red basketball shoes, with a white tongue and red laces. The sole has a poke ball on it. The top part of the poke ball black and the bottom white. Instead of carrying pokeballs on his belt, he has a sash that has six suction cups slots. The area in which the pokeballs are placed is a metal tube that is not sewn with the rest of the sash, so he is able to take of the holder. I also acts as the buckle for the sash.
History: Oliver is from Saffron city. He lived with his parents, his mother named Amelia and a father named Oliver Sr. His father worked at the nearby factory and the mother was a business woman that worked for the same factory his father worked at. He lived a normal childhood, but as the factory closed down as of a recession, both of his parents became deeply depressed. They both started drinking, but once his mother binged too hard, and died in a car crashed while under the influenced. He then lived with his father until he was 11, but then ran away because his father became abusive. While living on the streets of saffron city, he joined a mafia group called the sigma guild. Although they didn't commit crimes much, Oliver personality hardened into what he is today.

Oliver stared at his poke gear map, trying to make out his bearings. He was on a crude forest path...in the middle of nowhere. The sunlight beamed down on him, burning the sunscreen off of his face.

" Damn I just had to go off that trail to follow that Sentret. I did a nice job getting us loss. I need to get to goldenrod city by sundown."

The screen of the Poke gear flickered as it ran out of battery. The once map displayed turned dark, just as Oliver's hope of getting out of their navigation troubles easily. Oliver growled in anger.

Goldenrod City, the center of commerce in Johto, was on the horizon of Oliver's. The ground raced past Oliver's eyes as he ran at a strenuous pace. He made further progress to the city, bathed in the setting sun's light. Getting closer and closer, the fiery pokemorph slowed down as he reached the gate.
Reaching the guards Oliver put on a different expression, not as to cause trouble but as a loyal citizen.

"What is your business in goldenrod city sir?" the guard said as he looked over Oliver's gruff look. Oliver then set his eyes on the guard, fighting the urge to defy his authority. He then simply looked away, calmy brushed himself off and said his business. The guard then moved aside as Oliver walked in to the city.
The city, bustling with life and activity, didn't seem to want to rest even as the approaching absence of light started to rise from below. Adults with bag of products and groceries, mothers and fathers with their children in tow, and the occasional trainer, setup with their gear. Oliver felt in his element here. Soaking in the numerous advertisements and auras of other people, it was the first time since he felt good since he left Saffron city. The only one thing missing from this scene was the dirtiness. There was no crime or pollution. No illegal dealings in alleyways. It was as Goldenrod city and Saffron City were two beacons, one of Light and one of Dark.
Oliver walked up the Roads looking at the individual places, shops and stores. But what he really wanted to look at was the radio tower. He often listened to his Poke gear. He wanted to listen to his favorite radio program, but then realized that his poke gear just recently ran out of power. His Excited stride then turned into a morose march, but still had the hope of taking the tour of the radio tower. He then took a left Turn as he saw the radio tower. He started running at an awe-inspiring speed Oliver thought to himself
"Okay Oliver, here's the plan. We're not gonna take the regular tour of the place, so get ready to do some damage."

Oliver became thrilled at his idea, and prospect of a fight, and wanting to do some serious if not permanent damage."

As soon as he was ready, Oliver burst through the door. People saw the blur of red as Oliver darted to the stairs to the upper levels. As soon as he saw an elevator, Oliver got in and rose to other areas. A ring of confirmance sounded as the elevator door opened. Oliver walked casually in, Unrenowned to the terror that waited him. He surveyed what everything looked like, and as he looked at one of the people in the room they were staring at him intensely.
" Oh, um I got lost on the tour and-"
One of the pokemorphs lunged at Oliver. The rest of the pokemorphs in the room began to crowd around him. He noticed who was attacking him a large mightyena looking human battering him to pieces.
Everything began to slow down to Oliver, the punches and bites the waving arms of other pokemorphs. Then a feeling unknown to him appeared, weakness. He saw his potential fly past him as the hostile attackers were mangling him. He saw what he would look like, dead, all weak and pitiful. Anger rose up from below Oliver. Not just any anger, an anger used to kill. Oliver threw the mightyena across the room into the wall. Sanding up, the wounds and bruises seem to fade at an alarming rate. He then roared with prehistoric might, the old Oliver pushed away, and a new being was born.

The other beings were stunned at the display. Oliver lunged himself at them taking them down one by one. His Arcanine-like reflexes and strength aloud him to do dodge and block the attacks from the rebels. Blasts off water and ice were thrown at him, slowing him down, but didn't stop the fight. He released wave after wave of fiery flames that consumed the weaker beings. All that stood left unwounded were but a few pokemorphs. One launched a mighty blow to Oliver's head, stunning him. His old self then came back. He recollected the events that just happened in a few seconds, his eyes darting around the room looking an escape. But, the door from which he entered opened and emergerged more rebel pokemorphs.

"Who are you people?" Oliver said afraid of the mass of enemies, larger than him. "We are the rebellion. Pokemorphs who are against pitiful humans. You should know that, are you wrong in the head?"
Oliver was about to find a diplomatic way to escape. But then from in the corner where the fight began, the mightyena rose up from his unconsciousness, and fired a dark energy at Oliver.
"Aaarg!" Oliver screamed as the power of dark took over his mind. "No. I can...fight ...this off." Bending to his knees he covered his head, and his body searched for another reserve of energy perhaps that can help him escape.
As the shadow ball took more for his being, Oliver began to lose hope. The scene from the rebel pokemorph looked pitiful. A red haired pokemorph sitting on the floor fighting his body and mind. As Oliver stood up again, the rest of the pokemorph tensed. Would they fight another battle against this foe? But no, Oliver just stood there...wondering about his moves under the glossy look he displayed to fool them. A silence grabbed everybody; all that could be heard was the ticking of a clock in the corner.
Oliver tensed his legs, leaped over the ring of pokemorphs surrounding him, and landed just a few feet from the mightyena. He pivoted as ran through the door. He did this in a matter of seconds and just as he escaped his pursuers followed.
Doors flew open; the radio tower was deserted as Oliver ran through the hallways. Strange he thought, why aren't they following me. He pushed the door open to the stair well and he jumped through the middle and fell to the bottom floor. Pushing open the door, he ran through the lobby. As soon as he reached the middle, a black blur launched himself at Oliver.

"You must not be part of the rebellion, you do not even know about the rebellion. Right" the mightyena said. "Answer me!" He picked Oliver Up and threw him back down on the floor. " No." Oliver said in a gasp of air. " Let me tell you one thing, red haired pokemorph, don't meddle with the affairs of the rebellion again. Or next time I will not be merciful." He threw Oliver Toward a back Exit of the Building and released him outside in an alleyway. Everything on Oliver began hurting. He managed to pick himslef up and hide in a dumpster, half conscious and laid to rest. The darkness enveloped him as he fell asleep. Before this day, he never had any contact with other pokemorphs, as the only different about Oliver was on the inside. Through the night in the smelly dumpster, he took in all of this information and his feeling reveled one things.

This people, must be stopped. Their plans must not succeed.

I started posting in the play thread already, to those whom it may concern = everyone
