4th Gen Did any male Poke fans play as the girl in D/P/Plat?

I did at first because I thought Lucas' hat looked kinda *cough*GAY*cough* and thought Dawn was hot...

But now I'm the male character.

Yes, I chose Dawn because I hated the way the male character looked. Hat was incredibly large.

I didn't in either. I usually don't in Pokemon games, I don't know why because I often use female characters in other games. I kind of thought that both of the characters looked kind of bland in d/p. Their redesigns in Platinum are much much better imo. One thing I don't get about either characters in both d/p and platinum are the scarfs... Really, what's the point?

Probably since in Platinum theres snow in Twinleaf Town and Snowpoint? But I apologize if they were there before Platinum,
then I don't know why they put scarfs in, maybe for design, I'm not sure. But my favorite is the RSE male character.

i picked the dude, because i couldnt come up with a name for the girl, and the name Dawn was too common now.

i played as the girl in pearl, since the guy looks stupid. but in platinum, he looks okay, so i used him in that one

Cardwell74, your signature is way to big, and no I usually always play as the same gender I am in real life, I think I have played as a girl in Pokemon Crystal tho.
But that's about it.

In D/P the only snowy area where the Snowpoint, the routes and lake around Snowpoint, and the top of Mt. Coronet. In Plat they added more snow

I chose the girl in Diamond and Platinum since I didn't like the way the guy looked

I played as the girl in platinum in my sister's honor. I even asked her what pokemon she likes and am only training those pokemon.

Nope, never. I always played as a guy in all of my Pokemon games. I dunno why, I just think they look quite cool in their own way.

Since Crystal, I've always had the habit of choosing the female character, I dunno why. My favorite so far's been the one from FRLG. ​

In fact, as of my second play through in Sapphire I've been choosing girl characters.

Yes, even with the pink Poketch haha. Lucas looks terrible. The male pokemon trainer should just be a dude in jeans and a t-shirt with a backpack if you ask me haha. I don't know what the heck the designers were thinking when they made Lucas.
