Independent. I don't like picking a side, because there are things on every side that I disagree with and some things I do agree with. Plain and simple. Being independent really lets me keep my own opinion, too.
I swear dotKarma is my twin. This this this this. D: Yeah, I'm currently independent for likes and dislikes with every side.

I'm centre-right, a liberal conservative (or a conservative liberal. They both mean different things depending on your location), a moderate conservative, a Red Tory, a progressive conservative, etc. In a nut shell I'm socially liberal (but the emphasis not on those issues) and fiscally conservative.

I live in Canada. We used to have a Progressive Conservative party at the federal level. Now we don't because they merged with the Canadian Alliance which is further to the right than I'm comfortable with. So, at a federal level I could vote for the new Conservative party or even the Liberal party. Have to weigh the issues and candidates at the time. Not saying the other parties aren't an option (the New Democratic Party are credited with creating our health care system afterall). But generally, due to the differences between my politics and theirs, supporting them may be unlikely unless they really impress me during an election.

In my province of Ontario we still have a Progressive Conservative party thankfully. And I'd generally vote for them. However, we lack a far-right party and as such we end up with Blue Tories in the party. The parties current leader is a Blue Tory much to my dismay. So, not sure how I'll vote in the next provincial election. Again, nothing is off-limits.

My politics generally align with one party over the other most of the time but always have to examine the candidates and issues at hand. One's politics is not necessary the same as the ideology of a political party of the same name.

    facist (military ideal)
Fascism is a national ideal; it's not much more belligerent than any other.
WWII happened because of nazism. If it were just fascist Italy around, there would've been no fighting.

For the most part, I try to care less. I guess when it comes down to it, I'm some hybrid between a conservative and a liberal. I don't really care about gay marriage, but I strongly oppose abortion, unless there's a serious circumstance, and even then, I'd still prefer the adoption solution after the baby was born. That's another story, though. But yeah. Predominantly not caring.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I try to avoid political labels, but my views on certain topics of interest lean to the left (like I am pro-choice, I support gay rights, etc etc.) Every issue is two-sided, and I am as careful and considerate as I can be in reaching a stance. I don't get too involved, though, unless someone is spewing uninformed and/or insulting sentiments.

I am definitely more liberal when it comes to social issues. I feel like people can make their own choices in life, and it's not the govt's role to be telling people what they can and can't do with their selves.

Financially, i'm a bit more conservative. I'm not big on the porkbarreling and the excess spending. I would prefer to be more national in spending, then spending abroad.

As for war... hate it... no need for it.

Prisons, we have plenty as it is... but no need to rid of them. I fully support that people should be punished for their crimes.

Socialism is an economic philosophy. Fascism is a social philosophy. Liberalism and conservatism are socio-economic philosophies.

Correct poll options should be such (not technically correct, but conveys the meaning in the least confusing way):
    Authoritarian capitalist <-- Republican party
    Authoritarian socialist <-- Socialist party
    Liberal capitalist <-- Libertarian party
    Liberal socialist <-- Democratic party

I am a Libertarian. I believe that people should be generally free socially, but that the best policy regarding economics is to encourage competition and reward hard work instead of distributing money directly to the population and enacting strict corporate policies.

I honestly couldn't care less. Politics bores me, and if it weren't compulsory to vote in Australia, I wouldn't vote. Chances are, I'd probably just put in a blank vote at the ballot box once I'm eligible to vote. Politicians, in my view, are all power hungry and are just there for fame and fortune. I am happy with whoever leads our country, provided the person doesn't attempt to end civil life as we know it.

I could care less about politics, but my view for the most part is liberal, with very few exceptions, but primarily that.

Ideally, I'm a communist, although as we've seen throughout history, when communist principals are applied to a real-world situations, the ideology seems to become twisted and manipulated, leaning more towards fascism.

However, for the sake of this poll, I voted "Liberal," seeing as it covers a far wider range of political parties.

    And it's "I couldn't care less," btw :3

I'm conservative with just about everything. Money, views, etc. I think I'm only liberal with how much sexy I allow to flow out of me.

If there's one thing I hate more than rap music it's Politics lol. I hate geography / politics / anything related to that. @_@ I just don't get it; I probably don't even know where Washington DC is so like, yeah.

I don't even know what all those poll choices mean (lol) so I just voted the last one (I'm about 60% sure that it's not an actual party name).

    I'm not really into politics like most people. I don't understand politics so I'm kind of undecided. I am a democrat but I chose not to get involved because the idea of politics is so confusing to me. ;o;
