This is in the wrong section I think, but I'll rate it anyway.

All your Pokemon are physical based attackers, which is bad if you run into any physical walls (Skarmory, Forretress etc.) I'd change Lucario to a special sweeper or specs user.

    453.png
    @ Choice Specs
    Inner Focus
    Modest Nature
    4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
    - Aura Sphere
    - Shadow Ball
    - Hidden Power (Ice)
    - Vacuum Wave

    OR

    453.png
    @ Life Orb
    Inner Focus
    Modest Nature
    4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
    - Calm Mind
    - Aura Sphere
    - Shadow Ball
    - Vacuum Wave

Both sets give irresistible coverage and help you with your problem with Physical Walls.
Believe it or not, Skarmory gets nailed by Electivire, but I haven't seen any Foretress, surprisingly. I'm definitely not running another Choice Set, Electivire had too much trouble the first time being another Choice. If I ran Life Orb Luke, I might ditch Aura Sphere actually for HP Fire, which will probably backfire on me, but I already have Vacuum Wave, and I'm tired of Fighting Type moves on my team, they all have one, I don't need one more. O__o
So HP Fire > Aura Sphere bad idea or not?

Bad idea, losing your main stab move is just...no. Besides Aura Sphere nails forry anyway. That and you could just use Fire Punch on Vire >> EQ if you are THAT scared of Forry.

  • Which set would be the best for staraptor?

    1. staraptor@choice band/choice scarf
    jolly
    intimidate
    252atk,252 spd,6hp
    Brave bird
    close combat
    u turn
    double edge
A physical sweeper/revenge killer, very suicidal. It will smash through bulky steel types, scizor, and lucario with close combat.
It will use u-turn if it runs into something like rotom or azelf. Double edge is for stab, and if there is nothing that it can kill with super effectiveness.

    2. staraptor@life orb
    jolly
    intimidate
    252atk,252 spd,6hp
    Brave bird
    close combat
    roost
    double edge
Same thing as above, except having the ability to attack more freely, and riskily heal itself.

If you think a set needs changing, please state that as well.

Um myself I personally like the LO set for being able to attack freely and what not. But Its kinda up to whatever your team needs, if you need a super fragile scouter, go with the Choice (make sure you have wish support) if you need a semi-decent sweeper, go LO.

  • Should I breed an Eevee to get Charm or just use my EVed Eevee and growl or can I get Charm without breeding? And which Eeveelution's be the best for Each of the Johto Starters? (Like which is the best with Toto and etc...)

  • Here's something that came up for me.

I know Evasion clause is no moves that either raise your evasion or lower your opponents' accuracy, but what about moves that lower the opponents' evasion.

I'm pretty sure stuff like sand attack isn't allowed under the evasion clause, I could be wrong though, but stuff like odor sleuth, foresight are allowed because they also let you hit ghosts for spinning n' such.

    Incorrect.

Sand Attack etc is allowed, because they can just switch out.

Your going to want to max your def EVs on milotic. moveset looks fine, although i'm more of a resttalk guy but yours should work fine.

For scizor, don't use X Scissor. I would suggest pursuit, or something like that. Because pursuit is fantabulous with technician.

    :/

Ummm on SD Scizor Pursuit is terrible and beyond redundant.

Use Bullet Punch + SuperPower on SD Scizor.

If you are going to use a bug move (which should be Bug Bite) use it >> Roost.

Also "some in hp and att" doesnt help anyone. Be specific with evs, its like cooking ingredients, how is "put in some flour and some water" helpful see ? lol

So, I'm really bored today because writing a 2000 word paper isn't as exciting as it sounds. (I know who'da thunk it?)

And I was laddering losing with my curselax, so I was thinking about replacing it with this set:

    Bronzong @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    Bold/Calm Nature
    252HP/248Def/16SpD

    -Calm Mind
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk
    -Flash Cannon

Its basically a curselax set, but special and with a different pokemon ^__^

I was just wonderin' if it might work. I picked flash cannon because it hits everything, and I don't want to get walled by a umbreon if i chose psychic. But, steel kinda sucks, so I need to change it and unfortunately bronzong can't learn anything i would normally use. Basic idea is to spam CM until i get +6/+6, and rest/talk along the way, at +6/+6 its damn near invincible.

  • Lol CMZong is horrible, if you really want to use a rest-talk set-upper, use RestTalk CurseRegisteel or RestTalk Cursepert or if you want to use a special rest-talk set-upper, use Crocune.

    Registeel wtf...nice Heatran/Magnezone/Roar anything/Spikes/Taunt/set-up anything/Infernape/Heracross/Nasty Plot/Haunter weakness ~_~

Anyway to answer the original question no, mono attackers are usually mediocre and when they aren't it is a result of a lot of support. CroCune is really the only viable one and I wouldn't even recommend that, though that's the one to use. CurseTar is also an option if you want a special wall of sorts, though it's really easy to exploit its weaknesses lol.

    Two questions.

    1) How are moves whose Base Powers vary (i.e. Gyro Ball, Grass Knot, Psywave) taken into account on Pokemon with Technician?

    2) Are status drops like the Speed drop from Paralysis or the Attack drop from burns passed on while Baton Passing?
