You could try this I guess.

    Umbreon @ Life Orb
    Rash Nature
    252Sp.Atk./252Spe/4Def
    ~Dark Pulse
    ~Shadow Ball
    ~Moonlight
    ~HP Fighting

I guess. Umbreon has an awful Special Attack movepool.
HP Fighting? Never heard of it. And why does everyone use Life orb? It drops your health when you attack!

Hidden Power Fighting. Life Orb boosts the power you deal out. and Since you have Moonlight, it doesn't really matter.

I would personally just ditch that Umbreon and get a new one with a Careful or Sassy nature. It's special attack is horrendous and most likely shouldn't be used.

Plus, chances are that you'd have to rebreed for HP Fighting in the first place, so you might as well get Careful or Sassy in the process and avoid the whole complicated mess of breeding for specific HP's.

    Blissey.

I have this Blissey. Would you mind poking some holes in her strategy?

    #242
    Nightingale/Blissey
    Nature:Bold
    Ability:Serene Grace
    Item:Spell Tag
    Moves:
    Thunder Wave
    Calm Mind
Shadow Ball(Power 96 due to SpellTag/+40% chance of lowering Special Defense due to Serene Grace.)
    Soft Boiled

    EV Distribution:
    Defense and Special Attack only.

...hopefully this is in the right board, and any suggestions on a Partner? I was thinking one with high defense and the move "Follow Me" would be perfect.

I just got a shiny Umbreon, which was at the top of my wanted list. He's on level 50 and knows Wish, Toxic, Dark Pulse, and Shadow Ball. I wanted a trap passer set, but I obviously can't do that anymore. I've never had an Eeveelution with Wish before, so I'd like to keep that, and Toxic as well; I used the TM on someone else. Any ideas?

Well i would suggest the Curser because i love that but its an egg move so yeah.

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    252 HP / 252 S.DEF / 6 Att
    Careful Nature
    - Wish / Moonlight
    - Protect / Taunt / Heal Bell / Toxic
    - Toxic / Heal Bell
    - Payback

This thing is amazing in UU. Use Wish with Protect and Moonlight and a support move for best results.

What is the best place to EV train my Umbreon for special attack? It has rash nature so I'm happy, anything else I can do to max his special attack?

Also what moves would you recomend?

"dont ev it in special attack"

Really if you want a dark special attacker, Houndoom, Sharpedo, Honchkrow all do it better. Even Cacturne does. Umbreon is a special tank so use it as such.

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    252 HP / 252 S.DEF / 6 Att
    Careful Nature
    - Moonlight
    - Taunt / Heal Bell
    - Toxic
    - Payback

    Full Support.

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    252 HP / 252 S.DEF / 6 Att
    Careful Nature
    - Protect
    - Wish
    - Toxic / Heal Bell
    - Payback

    Wish Support

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    252 HP / 252 S.DEF / 6 Att
    Sassy Nature
    - Moonlight
    - Heal Bell
    - Curse
    - Payback

    Curse.

    Umbreon@Leftovers / Chople Berry
    252 HP / 92 SpD / 164 Spe
    - Mean Look / Curse
    - Baton Pass
    - Moonlight / Wish
    - Taunt / Yawn / Payback

Baton Passer. Use Chople Berry only with Mean Look for best results.

i just got my event jirachi :D

i wanna train it and such, so what is the best nature and moveset for my Jirachi?

    Jirachi@Choice Specs
    252 Sp.Att / 252 Speed / 6 HP
    Modest / Timid Nature
    - Psychic
    - Hidden Power [Ground]
    - Draco Meteor
    - Thunder

According to X-Acts pokemon coverage App, this gives the best coverage and best overall damage output out of Jirachi's special options.

I have this Blissey. Would you mind poking some holes in her strategy?

Is Bounce an acceptable option for Rapidash, or is it not worth the moveslot since Fire already takes care of Bug and Grass?

What other moves does it know? Its easy to predict around at any rate, so take that into account, but its easier to say "yes" or "no" if we know what the other moves are.

This is more of a future poke than one i have now, but I'm going to try

    Flare Blitz
    Megahorn
    Return/Agility
    Bounce (?)

I know enough to not bother with Poison Jab, thank you.

I would use Will-o-Wisp over Bounce and Hypnosis over Agility, gives it a good status platform, and good coverage.

But I have Platinum, and that's when Hypnosis was brought back down to a measly 60%.

  • Oh yeah, I forgot they nerfed it. I guess you can put Bounce in since it has a chance for paralysis and does damage to.

Bounce is poop on anything non STAB and on anything not named Jumpluff and Gyarados and i guess to some extent Whiscash.

Use Iron Tail or Double Kick on Rapidash for rock types.

  • Could someone give me a defensive Latias set for Ubers? (I don't want the wish passing one since I already have a wish passer in my team)

    Latias@Soul Dew
    112 HP / 204 SpA / 192 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Calm Mind
    - Reflect / Roar / Thunder / Refresh
    - Roost / Recover
    - Dragon Pulse

You need Calm Mind or you lose to silly stuff that you're supposed to beat i.e Specs Kyogre and stuff.

could somebody recomend a defensive jirachi moveset? I just got the draco meteor jirachi and I've been wanting to get a defensive/support pokemon for my team for awhile.

    Jirachi@Leftovers
    240 HP / 160 Def / 76 Sp.D / 32 Speed
    Impish Nature
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - Body Slam / Thunderwave
    - Iron Head

Thats what i use. It works well actually, i prefer it to the standard set because A. U-Turn is bad considering you have to give up Protect for it which means you lose to 3HKO's which is like everything. B. Protect scouts already so i dont see the need for it, unless its to escape duggy and zone but both can be crippled and beaten by this set anyway so i mean lol.

If this is on a more stall oriented team feel free to use Toxic in the second slot.
