People that don't have the money to buy the same game twice? Both, who wouldn't?

This generation, for me, from what we've seen thus far, seems too fun to miss out on the other. (And for the common madness of restarting one version, and sticking around on another.)

Well maybe they shouldn't buy the same game twice and buy both of them?
EDIT: ^That's a good idea, I don't have to restart my data that way. Too bad my Pokemon won't be real. 3:Then again, we might get multiple save files!
They are the exact same game, you don't miss out on anything between the versions, especially since we now have wi-fi for trading version-exclusives. Buying the two versions is like me going to the store right now and paying 100$ for two copies of Mario Galaxy. It just seems like a waist of money IMO.
While some people might think it's a waste, and it honestly could be, they're not the exact same game. That's like saying Gold and Silver, or Diamond and Pearl, are the exact same game. There's more differences than just the Pokemon that you can catch and can't catch between the 2 games.
But regardless, I do see where you're coming from. I'd just go with Harlequin's idea of using ROM's. :P Multiple save files would be the bomb.. I didn't even think of that.
They are the exact same game. Same Pokemon, same trainers, same story, same battle system, same graphics, same new features, every darn thing's the same. There is absolutely nothing significantly different between each game. Gold and Silver and Diamond and Pearl are the exact same game. If I gave them to someone without showing them the box art or title screen, they wouldn't even know the difference. You will miss out on nothing if you just get one version. While some people might think it's a waste, and it honestly could be, they're not the exact same game.
