  • Oh man I did it again:

    Roton-PtFs.gif

    Rash - Levitate
    5 / 14 / 9 / 25 / 0 / 29

I know Timid>Rash but every Timid frame was terrible...wait, that's a lie, I got a really good one and completely screwed up. I just got impatient and went for one that wasn't absolutely terrible. Plus check out those sick IVs man!

  • i must say the shiny egg finder is much easier but it takes time =/

    Breed of the day

    441.png

    Shiny Chatot
    Nature: timid
    Ivs: 31/9/31/30/31/30 HP Water-68
    Egg-moved: Nasty plot

this was the best i could do with my situation. But i think after a nasty plot the water-68 wont matter any more =/

Do you rng? Some people here do. Possible reasons why some don't is- they may have a MAC. And it can be difficult to learn.

  • you should look into it
it is worth it and this site needs more RNG'ers

i know how its done, but it just doesn't seem legit.. i would consider doing it for trades on this site, but between my friends and i, we're sort of 'purists' lol.

yeah RNG does take a lot of work and practice to do. it has to be done precisely to work. but good RNG'ers (like most of you guys) can churn out dozens of flawless shiny pokemon over a certain amount of time.

remember the chances of getting a wild shiny:
    1/8192

and the chances of hatching a flawless IV'd pokemon:
    1/887,503,681

compared to that, RNGing is wayyy easier to do. just sayin. And not everyone can readily do it either

How is RNG not legit? It just takes out the luck of breeding and makes it more skilled in my opinion. It takes the process from just blindly soft resetting and praying for a good spread to actually aiming for a spread and working to hit it.

When a teacher hands you a study guide and says this is everything that will be on the test, you don't just throw it away because your worried about it being considered "cheating"

Not even going to explain why it isn't cheating to another person...

  • Ready for a really really dumb question?

I only have to do the frame (and time/delay) calibration once, correct? Or do I have to do it every time I'm trying to hatch something?
