There's tons of versions of EX. You might have downloaded the wrong one. Try the one in Wichu's signature.

you don't actually play them live, you get the data of there team and add it to the folder called teams in a text document openable by notepad the game will then run it from the team center as an AI controlled player. For fun you can see how this works by creating a team (yours) then fighting yourself. You can also create your own team and then open it in notepad and replace the text with someone else's and you have there team.

after you beat game or elite four (can't remember) go to the last city and in a house a guy will sell you random TM's this is how you get the majority of them, they are completely random so have lots of money and patience I spent half and hour to get draco meteor and got 3 of one TM in a row

Also does anyone know where to find Shadow Lugia or Lugia?

Lugia lives under water that's all I'm going to say about that and Shadow Lugia doesn't exist (or at least that I know of)

Lol!!! I accidentally pressed select on land in Mossdeep because I thought my bike was registered, but I actually had super rod, and it fished out a corsola from the grass!

Edit: Just training in Emerald Path and found a Shiny Tropius! I caught it as well.
