You can't really practice on inanimate objects like stuffed animals, considering they can't kiss back. A kiss just kinda...happens. I guess you get better the more you do it? Haha.

I don't know what's wrong with all you people who think it's weird to want to practice kissing. o.o

Seriously, I practice on my pillow. I practice quite a bit really...especially if I feel like kissing everyone. xD (It happens to me, don't know why or how, but some days...I'm quite odd in that way, sometimes I just want to find someone and kiss and cuddle them all day long...and I don't differentiate between genders when I'm in this mood. x3)

But anyways, I don't see anything wrong in the sincere wish of making that first kiss you share with someone you really really love and care about a perfect and romantic occasion, not interrupted by awkward "Umm, I suck at kissing" and such. I know that even though when I get in that romantic mood nothing would likely kill the mood short of something that angers me greatly...but still, you want that continuity of the moment because it'll probably be a moment you remember for the rest of your life...even if you don't stay with that person because of unforeseen personality incompatibilities.

I honestly love every moment of kissing practice, because I can imagine myself kissing whoever I like at the time, and REALLY put my heart into it. That's how a kiss should be given. :3

I also now hug a pillow every night. It's done well for me, especially because I can just cuddle that pillow and practice kissing whenever I feel overwhelmed with affection, as well as doing it every night, just to vent those feelings. I blame my choice not to date in reality for this...but I made that choice because I'm not ready to date in real life yet.

I guess I'm just an affectionate person by nature, but I'm so shy and reserved that I very seldom get to let that side of me out. So, I honestly fail to understand, with all my heart why anyone lacks the love, which drives me to practice kissing on a regular basis. :(
It's saddening, but it's not upsetting. Just confusing if ya know what I mean.

All of that being said, despite all of my practice, I don't consider myself a skilled kisser. Just one with enough confidence in my instinct when the mood takes over.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. I never found the need to practice kissing. I was never really nervous to do it, to begin with. Maybe you should come out of your shell and then you wont have to practice anymore, xD, I was just like you, still kinda am. I am very shy and keep to myself most of the time, but one day I decided to stop being like that and its been working great for me so far! Maybe you should give it a go, maybe something good will happn :]

Although I had the opportunity to beforehand, I never kissed anyone until last year and at that stage most people I knew of my age had already kissed beforehand and it was embarrassing when the topic was brought up. But I was determined to wait for (who I thought was) the right person. I didn't practice and it worked out for me fine. It's an instinct. You don't have to make out in order to kiss, it's just like kissing somebody on the cheek except it's on the lips. Obviously making out is a different story, but either way, it comes to you naturally.
