I also bawled at the end of episode 13. I figured the ending would be bittersweet, b-but still ;;

Oh, oh, and the manga ain't too bad. It's kind of strange since there isn't any Otonashi in it, but I like looking at the character backgrounds a bit. I'm hoping more of it will get translated and put online soon XD

I almost forgot the episode where they went down to Guild to find Kanade, and everyone died one by one. xD "Hey, why does this situation look like something at the end of a shonen manga?!"

I felt bad for Naoi, though, because no one remembered his name when he sacrificed himself ;;

The first time they went down to guild was funny with Shiina suddenly going after the cute wind-up puppy. You'd've never expected it from her XD

They're revived in the end though. The ending sucked though, since it's like um.. We didn't know what happened to Yuri, which is supposed to the female lead and the leader of that crazy battlefront.

I saw Kanade more as the female lead, because of the typical "main guy character ends up with main gal character at the end of the series" stereotype. But it wasn't just that, Kanade seemed to play a much bigger role than Yuri throughout the entire anime. In the manga, though, Yuri seems to be the female lead. But I've only read three chapters, so I'm not 100% certain about this.

Oh right, Yui. P-poor Yui ;;

Iwasawa > Yui, despite the crazy name.

She was happy all the way through and passed on happier than ever :/

It wasn't really that much "poor Yui" at all, unless you meant when she lived.. or when she crashed into that rock at episode 9 :P

Yui was unharmed I recall, Yuri and Otonashi slide down the slope while she was simply caught in the middle by a rock.

That was mean what happened to Kanade when all the clones returned to her. ;; Still, the 1% chance of waking up as herself was weird. :\

It was predictable; the series doesn't have too much of OMG parts and 1337 episodes arcs like in Bleach. Here it's solved in one or two episodes. So really, it was quite predictable.

Mangafox is where I found the manga. Having a Mac means not having to worry about viruses :P

And I felt sorry for Yui with the rock thing. But other than that, she led a good life in Purgatory XD I do prefer Iwasawa over her, and I wish they had more Girls Dead Monster songs with Marina as the vocalist, since all the songs she sings were in the anime while some of LiSA's songs weren't (Highest Life, Rain Song, Answer Song, and I heard that Little Braver was in episode 10, but I don't recall it being there, really).

I'm rewatching it again with someone, and I realized how random they were when they inserted that baseball episode. Guess it was an excuse to show Hinata's background. lol
