its not balance when 3 of them are there right? but anyway they didnt use yin and yang even if it was balance, i m just saying that yin and yang doesnt go with america, more likelya with china, although im not saying that isshu is shanghai, but it is more possible then NY. I think that both NY and shanghai are too small to be regions, just look at other regions in proportion to them :/

Hoenn was supposed to be a region with elemental influnce thats why they craeted earth, water and sky to control elements of earth, fire and air cos entire region was about weather as a main addon, it acctually doesnt have any relations neither to yin-yang nor bahhamut, leviathan and I dont know what the third is

I don't think Rayquaza had anything to do with air besides the fact that it flew. It was merely supposed to represent the balance of power between the two.

Well balance can be between three forces not just two :)
In a way it is but it looks so much like NY :\

Exactly, but he can't really do anything with air except flying.

hey magma ruby type sao luis in google map and check it it looks like isshu too almost identical it even has the third river flowing in the second one, just turn the map upside down :D

Rayquaza is the master and ruler of the Sky it said so in game and the Ziz is titled as such :)
Now back on topic: Does Shanghai have any light houses near the one in Isshu?

i dont know actually anythin bout shanghai but check sao luis on google map, it is identical to isshu too, there are many places like that on earth u just gotta find them, a lot of ppl just jumped to conclusion it NY cos its the most famous of it, but actually it could be anywhere else

It can't be anywhere. Can it be based on Iowa? no.

The reason everyone jumped to NY is because of the placement of the mountains, the bridge, the islands, the harbor, the location of central park with the circular pool, and the shape coast/river basins. All match up perfectly.

Sao Luis BARELY matches up. The shape of one small piece of coast matches, and that's it.

hey now guys o.o check this out it looks similar its the right size(its not small as the others) it has a BRIDGE where the sky bridge was supposed to be, ANNNNNNND it end in a spiral just like in game OoO type dundee, its in uk -> uk also has a large cultural mixture

It looks a bit like Isshu but not that much, though they do change the looks of the regions a bit compared to their real world counterparts ;)
