5th Gen What are you doing in preperation for Black and White?

Well Rihanna's new album LOUD is coming out in November so that completely put this new Pokemon game in the back of mind. But once LOUD is out, and I've listened to it a few thousand times, it will be March 2011 and I will be ready for the game. Without Queen RiRi, I would be anxious to play this game waiting day by day for the NA release. But with her, I don't even think about it :]

I've gone through the entire Pokedex of the new Pokemon and decided what my party will be, decided on some nicknames (might change them) My money is ready. :) I'm prepared to buy both and a guidebook if they have the guidebook like they did when HG/SS came out. I'm also playing SS since I fully beat my HG story and maxed out my Pokemon's levels. Originally I bought SS for my brother but he never had time to play it so he didn't mind me starting it over

I'm so excited for spring!

the only thing im really doing is finishing all my ultimate monotypes really quick so i can continue them into Isshu. otherwise, just hanging, and deciding my team.

Training the best possible pokemon on Diamond/Gold/Emerald to move over to the game.
I've look at most of the new pokemons stats and none of them can compare to the older gens. Except for Ononokusu, which I feel is just over kill.
Also most of them are a lot slower. I like fast pokemon that hit hard on the first attack. Alakazam anyone!

The 3DS wont go on sale until a month before the American release (or 2 months-ish before the European one) and since the 3DS will be region locked, you wont be able to play the American or European games on the 3DS unless you wait another half year after the B/W release in either Europe or America just to play Black and White.

The point is, you will be wasting time and money if you buy them together.

My preparation: Pre-order black, buy 3DS (if it's out by then). Other than that, nothing!

Save up for 3DS and Pokemon White, and maybe Black too. The 3DS comes out 2 months before White so I should have enough time to figure out the 3DS :)

Well, the only thing I did before my Black and White games arrived in my hands, was to train some 1st Gen Pokèmon to Lv. 60 or like that.
Like my Hitmonlee and Nidoking <3

I just finished BOTH Black & White. Now I'm exploring everything and learning about every Pokémon to get ready for the english release, I already got a competitive team ready, especially with the dream world abilities. <3

...nearly dead but not quite! For waiting, my uh, tactics have kind of changed. I've decided to not look at any screenshots, music, anything else now and just pretend that the games are coming out next month or something than always being like "omg omg 2011 ;;" XD;

.... but it is still about 5 months! I can't sit here foreva! I think im just gonna raise 16 pokemon to lv 100.... 1 for every type!!!!

I keep trying to assemble a team, but I'm never satisfied with the results because there is too much choice. ;-;

Then again, I could raise mutiple teams... oh well. That's all my preparation, cause I don't own any game that I can trade with to B/W, and I have enough moneys. :]

I'm not really "preparing" just re-doing D/P/PT/HG/SS. I've already completed the Japanese versions of both, but I couldn't fully enjoy them because it was in japanese.

Currently, I'm playing through Platinum, I'm about to take on Fantina 3rd Gym and I've got a pretty fair leveled team :)
But waiting for Sping 2011 for Black & White isn't too easy :(.
