Black and White is a great-ever-thing to happen to the new HD/3D world.
Which will get alot of NEW and OLD players for sure.
Some will think. "WOW! Pokémon from 3-6 years ago, with that crappy yellow?! Hell, what a improvement!" < or something like that.
    Oh.
Before you go on with the favorites.
Zekrom is mine and I will marry her.
    'K.

What does anyone think of this angry snowflake (Furijio)?:
Your opinions of B/W Pokémon - Favourites and Least Favourites

Personally, I find its stat distribution very strange (Blissey-level Special Defense with usable Special Attack and horrid physical stats). I also find the fact that it gets Slash, Night Slash and SolarBeam very bizarre.

In general I would have to say a lot of these Generation 5 Pokemon have impressed me. On the other hand, I can't say I yet have a favorite. However, I do have one that I just can't stand... Baibanira and it's previous evolutions. An ice cream cone...? Seriously!? I admit, it baffles me and all I can ask is, why?

I really like the appearances of Kibago, Kumasyun, Victini, Purotoga, Chillarmy, Chillaccino, Rankurusu, Shikijika, Ishizumai, Mebukijika, Ranpuraa, Shandera, and Virizion. Shandera and Ranpuraa also remind me of heartless from Kingdom Hearts. :3

And I absolutely love Ulgamoth. I can't wait to get one.

The only ones from this gen that I really don't like are Tornelos, Voltolos, and Landlos. They look too much like humanoids to be Pokemon. ;[

BLURGH!! I think that's probably THE ONLY Pokemon in this generation that truly sets me off. It's EXTREMELY un-Pokemon-like, and just plain... confusing, actually. It looks like that type of Pokemon that you'll only see once, though. So if there's a numerous amount, then that's just odd.

ANYWAYS, yeah, it is kinda weird that it learns those moves... But look at that Ghost/Ground robot thing. It learns Fly! O_O Even though it IS a robot, so it does kinda make sense... >.>

The snowflake one is probably one of my favorites actually. :P
Along with the floating ice mound guy.

I also really like the ground/ghost robot-looking ones.

I Like the snowflake. It is a very original concept for Pokemon especially.

I'm liking Meguroco and its evolutions.

Other than that, they're pretty meh to me.

Really?? Maybe you need to look harder. I think they did exceptionally well once again, for this region in terms of pokemon designs and moves.

To further elaborate, Meguroco and its evolved forms are not only based on crocodiles, they are also based on criminals/burglars because of the markings on their body and their eyes.

I noticed that too, and I'm pretty sure that is why they are Dark-Types.

    Blastoise was a sea turtle...

No it wasn't, Blastoise is classified as the Shellfish Pokemon, and is based around a normal Turtle/Tortoise. Puratoga/Abagoura is an actual sea turtle, because they're based on the Archelon, which in an extinct species of giant sea turtle, which explains why it's a fossil Pokemon. :3

I didn't say I hated them, I said they were about what I expected.

Oh.. Sorry. But most people use 'meh' though when they dont really find things interesting or they dont care for something :/

Blastoise is like a giant lake turtle. Just the common ones you see in lakes, not an ocean turtle.

    Oh my goodness. :3
I love how most of these Pokemon are just copies of previous ones, but at the same time, they're completely unique! Which, come to think of it, that's how it's ALWAYS been...xDD

When a Pokemon manages to be a clone and unique simultaneously, IMO, that's when you know you've got a well-designed Pokemon on your hands. :) My personal example is the comparison of Tauros and Buffalon:

    XD
The genies are still in identical poses, just from different angles!
Everybody was hoping for the Sugimori artwork to at least be different poses.
    NO IT'S NOT.
    I can't help but laugh.

:cer_blankstare: Even the Sugimori artwork can't redeem these guys (the raijin/genie/kami/PICK A TRIO NAME AND STICK WITH IT, BULBAPEDIA!!! -trio)? Ugh... I just want to get a Blaziken to Blaze Kick them into oblivion or something for copying each other so much... I think they have potential, but when their sprites and artwork blatantly copy off each other like that, it gets annoying. It just seems like one Pokemon unnecessarily rehashed into two others, which dampens the appeal of said trio... :( If the kami trio had designs that adequately differed from each other that don't border on Dasutodasu-ness, these guys might be a bit cooler. Even the Regis and the Lake Trio manage to differentiate their designs where I can appreciate each member individually, despite similar body structures to their trio counterparts...

But that angle-being-the-only-difference thing is slightly amusing. Slightly. :cer_laugh:

Worst trio ever. I think of them as different forms all the time, even though they are different pokemon. They just loom the same. I think of the fighting types as the 'Official' trio for gen 5, the genies aren't even all next to each other in the pokedex. They dont even look good >.> Waste of pokemon space in my opinion.
