Welcome to the club, Aaron, I'll add you to the list in a minute n_n

Totodile was my first ever Johto starter, so I share a nostalgic bond with it, though it is not actually my favourite. Anyways, if you'd like to, could you tell me what you like so much about Totodile? Is it just because of nostalgia, since it was your first water starter, or is there something special about it that just makes it your favourite water Pokémon=

That's a very nice top 3 and it looks like you like second gen Pokémon seeing as two of them are from Johto. I can't really relate to Oshawott though, as it is from Gen V, and that is the one generation I have yet to play. Nice choices though n_n

Now, I'm gonna try with a different topic this time, so:
'Post all the pictures you can of your favourite Water type Pokémon'

First of all, is this a conspiracy?
You post a topic about pictures in the same post a blind person joins your group?
    Lol, it's fine though.
    I love totodile.
He has an awesome cry, he learns cool attacks, but it is mostly nostalgia.
    I had a shiny one on R/S/E.
I had transferred my feraligatr from collosseum and kept breeding.
I believe this was before the masuda method,, too.

Wow, I'm terribly sorry, I didn't even know you were blind untill I read you signature.
It was actually a suggestion from one of my friends to start a topic like this and I would've started the topic sooner, but I didn't have time to do it and then you joined before I started it.
One thing I'd like to know though is how do you manage to read and type if you're blind?

It looks like you've had some great times with the Totodile family and it really brigns back a lot of my memories too. I hope you'll stay and share more of your experiences from Pokémon with me and the rest of the members :)

Sorry to interrupt, but can we try to stick to Pokemon-related talk only whilst posting in Pokemon Groups please? ^^

As for pictures of water types... I don't really have a favourite Water type, but its a close-call between Dewgong and Piplup!

Reason for joining the club: I think water types are not only elegant but most of them have really interesting and itricate designs which really make them stand out amongst the reast.

(Optional) Top 3 favourite Water type Pokémon:

My top 3 favourite water type Pokemon would be-

    1. Jellicent: Primarily because of its features and it unique typing. I love the different gender designs and I think it makes the species much more interesting, not to mention they can be raised and used in double battles to really emphaise eachother and cover one another's weaknesses when it comes to their movepools and type coverage.

    2. Swampert: I find this pokemon to be by far the best final evolution of a starter. Its diverse movepool enables to to become a tough opponent especially with Ice Punch, Earthquake, Protect and Waterfall. I love this creature also based on its appearance although its eyes and find on its head do like a bit quirky. :/

    3. Crawdaunt: basically, this pokemon has only become one of my favourites because of its aesthetic appeal. I love its bright, lush colours and the different shapes such as the stars which really emphasise and bring Crawdaunt up to be more 'than just a crab', unlike Kingler who is quite ordinary-looking.

Welcome to the club, Curious, I hope you'll stay active :D
I don't suppose I have to ask what you like about water Pokémon, since you already kinda described it and I totally agree with your views. I also liked your detailed descriptions on your favourite Pokémon and even though they are not some of my favourites, it's easy to get why you like them.

    New topic time!

'What is the toughest Water Pokémon?'
Remember that it is to be in your opinion. You can base it on stats, moves, battles you've fought with tough Water types, or anything else that hits you. n_n

    Partner Pokémon: Kingdra (Leverage)

Reason for joining the club: I love swimming, means I love water. Water Pokemon means you can swim with them. Enough said :)

(Optional) Top 3 favourite Water type Pokémon:

    1) Kingdra- You can't deny this guy is a beast. A rare Dragon/Water type (aside from Palkia) with only one weakness, to it's very own typing, Dragon. Plus, Swift Swim is a beast when in Rain Dance team. So really, you're looking at a forever Uber Pokemon!

    2) Milotic- I've always admire this female Pokemon. Queen of Beauty! I've always fall for the charm of female Pokemon and Milotic has it!

    3) He's not on the list so you broke the tiebreaker easily. Keldeo..sorry Pokemon but Kyogre would be the 3rd. Drizzle, with Thunder combination, got to be one of the best techniques around! go Kyogre!!

The strongest Pokemon are either a two way tie. Kyogre vs Palkia. Palkia due to it's Bulkiness of Dragon half, and Kyogre..well because he can always make it wake and that's a big boost for water type attacks! Outside of Legendary, I'd have to go with Kingdra vs the bulkiness of Lapras.

I think our club is getting bigger and bigger these days. How much do we have to go before it becomes bigger than the now-defunct one?

Toughest for me? I think I want a Feraligatr now. Gotta love the Punches and high Attack. Did it a lot for me in-game and perhaps during certain times in online.

Interesting... Are we including legendaries in this? If so, I'd certainly say Kyogre - that Pokemon is an absolute beast! It can do a great job killing pretty much any Pokemon, so it definitely earns a place in this topic. Another tough Water Pokemon is Swampert just based on looks; it looks like a brute! I think Milotic, Gyrados and Tentacruel are also three very tough water types, but I'm not so sure I'd want to use any of them just based on the strategies they need. Kingdra too deserves a mention as a great rain/DD abuser!

I'm terribly sorry that it took so long to accept you, though let's forget about that ^_^"
Anyways, welcome to the the club, I hope you'll have fun n_n

A very nice list, I remember always liking Kingdra, I never trained one though. Milotic is indeed the queen of beauty, which is truly amazing if you compare it to its pre-evolution :p
Sorry hehe, I added Keldeo to the list right after I read the post, though it was an unfair fight, though it can't be helped lol. Anyways, I like Kyogre very much too, though I never got into all the attacks and strategies and stuff, so @_@

I agree, Twiggy, Feraligatr has always been a tough Pokémon imo, especially with that ferocious crocodile design. I never really picked Totodile back in the 2nd generation games, even though I knew what a strong Pokémon it would become, though :(

I remember all of those to be pretty tough, I especially remember hating battling the Tentracool line, so I completely agree with you on that one. If I had known what a tough battler Kingdra was, perhaps I would've actually gotten one back in the games D:

I believe it's time for something, and that is a new topic.

    Name- Sayan.

    Partner- Ryuu the Kingdra.

Reason for joining- I really like Water Pokemon. It's the most common Pokemon type, so trainers have a wide selection to choose from. The typing is great both offensively and defensively, making Water Pokemon really versatile. Offensively, Water attacks gets good neutral coverage when paired with either Normal, Flying or Dragon. Defensively, they only have 2 weaknesses, which often get neutralised with the presence of a second type such as Ground, Electric or Dragon. Water Pokemon also learn moves of different types. Almost all of them can learn Ice attacks, while some like Starmie and Gyarados can learn attacks of various types.

    Strongest 3-
    1. Kyogre- Summons permanent rain and fires STAB, rain boosted 150 power Water Spouts. 'Nuff said.

    2. Palkia- Gets near perfect neutral coverage with only its STAB moves. Can go special, physical or mixed and run a variety of sets. Has two 4x resistances to 2 common types and only 1 weakness.

    3. Kingdra- Has the same STAB coverage, 4x resistances and single weakness as Palkia. Plus, its speed skyrockets in the rain. Can go on a rampage in the rain with high speed and perfect coverage with Outrage and rain boosted Waterfall (both effectively 180 base power.)

If I could keep a Water Pokemon as a pet, I'd keep a Milotic. It's classy, elegant and beautiful, plus it can sing, what more can I ask for.

The Water Pokemon I find cutest is Squirtle. Its big eyes are quite adorable.

I think Kingdra is the best.
You can really get poned by it's powerful attacks, and with rain, it's faster than you could ever want, too.
Ludocolo is another amazing water type.
Never used one, but I've been poned by one before, once.

Slowking is an amazing defensive Pokémon, and it can cause a game oer for it's enemies, not quickly, but very reliabley.
Palkia, and kyogre are powerful legendary water types.
    That sums it up.
I couldn't just simply list one, because one of the things I find amazing about water types are their sheer veriety.
Some Pokémon I didn't even mention are.
Walrein, milotik, swampurt, blastoise, lanturn, and I could go on for about another hundred letters or so.
