Had a tough time with a trainer's probopass eventually scyther managed to chip it to death.
Got to celestic beat grunt easy enough

The Golbat was easy enough for Dustox while the sneasel was a kricketune job. murkrow was fast and tough but scyther was faster and wing attack was a clean 2HKO

Got to Canalave, Grinded on iron island tried the gym struggled against most trainers with beautifly.

Went down the water routes i didnt go down before and grinded a bit off the old couple south of hearthome to around LV 40 got TMs Brick Break and X scissor taught both to scizor then heart scale taught it bullet punch,

Magneton died in one hit of brick break
kricketune reduced steelix's DEF just to make sure a brick break from scizor would kill it.
Finally came Bastiodon, i stupidly weakened it with Bullet Punch first when i shouldve smacked with brick break right off the bat anyway he got +2 DEF with iron defence so i foddered vespiquen and lowered its defence with kricketune before taking it out with one final Brick Break.

Vespiquen still killed it with power gem 3HKO
bronzor was a piece of cake with a couple of Attack Order's

I haven't posted in here for a long time now. I got 3 rather large updates to post too >.<
So here goes:

Bug Monotype Black Run update:

I have done a WHOLE lot since I last updated. When I last posted, I was in Driftveil, exploring.
My journey was full of events. In short, I had several encounters with N and his Plasma dummies. I won every time.
A cute, little Joltik joined my already awesome team. Joltik soon evolved.
I battled both my friends several times.
Kept it up with my Badge gathering quest and completed my set of unova badges. I honestly LOVED Skyla's Gym layout and hated Brycen's. Mainly because all battles were mandatory and... battle people inside an ice gym? Just... why? .-. I hated Drayden's Gym some more because of that stupid dragon puzzle thingy that had me spin around in circles a lot.
My cuties leveled up some.
After I got all my badges, I figured I'd go challenge the League, but Cheren had to ruin my plans and challenge me -.- Needless to say, his Simisear 1 hit KOed my entire team with his fire moves.
So, since he ruined my plans, I had to catch some HM slaves so I can go grab Larvesta on Route 18 -.-
That kinda got me bored so I saved before doing any of it.

Bug Monotype Crystal Run update:

Named my trainer Kyuu.
Picked Cyndaquil as a starter (yes, I cheated and didn't pick my fave, little Chikorita, just to avoid Rival picking Cyndaquil >.> )
Did the whole starting stuff and obtained a Pokédex and Pokéballs.
Immediately went to catch a Ledyba. Trained the little one a bit before moving on towards Violet City.
Wiped the floor with joey's Rattata.
Battled my way to Violet City. Battled my way to the Elder of Sprout Tower. Caught a Hoppip to use as a Flash slave because why not? xD
Took on Falkner's Gym and won mainly thanks to Supersonic working wonders.
Went on towards Azalea. Ledyba evolved somewhere on the way. Dealt with the Rockets at Slowpoke Well. Went into Ilex Forest looking for a Venonat only to realize it was daytime x.x
Took on Bugsy's gym. Did the Cut HM quest in Ilex forest. Went to Union Cave and caught a Sandshrew to teach it Cut. Taught Ledian Headbutt.
Went about headbutting trees on Route 32 for hours, only to realize I was headbutting the wrong ones. Night time finally came so I caught a Venonat in the Ilex Forest.
Did some more research and decided to Heabutt trees around Azalea, looking for a Heracross. Use the whole Headbutting to train Venonat a bit.
Eventually found a tree that had Heracross and met like 4 of them. Fainted one, two decied to flee and finally caught the 4th one.
Used the route to Goldenrod and past Goldenrod to train Venonat and Heracross.
Luckily, the night ended and it was Tuesday so I took advantage of the Bug Catching Contest to grab a Scyther. Took advantage of the Contest to level Heracross up to 19.
Won the Bug Catching Contest with the level 14 Scyther that I caught.
Caught a Ditto and left it at the Daycare with Cyndaquil because I was bored.
Trained my 3 lowbies a bit then took on Whitney's Gym. Her Miltank required some stragety and some strategic switches until I finally managed to beat her.
Battled the trainers in the National park.
Chased Sudowoodo away. Obtained Rock Smash and taught it to Sandshrew.
And I'm still playing as we speak, so the update ends here.

Went through mt coronet, had an unfortunate run in with a trainer's rapidash (stupid fire blast i swear to god i am taking crustle in 5th gen) eventually beat it by revive spamming it out of fire blasts and finishing it off with scizor, she had a golduck too but it was easy enough for scizor.

Got to snowpoint beat gym trainers

Thought i might have some trouble here considering Ice is SE vs Flying but it was fairly easy.
Yanmega 2HKOd sneasel with ancientpower
took a chunk off froslass then died scizor finishing it off with bullet punch
got a bit cocky and decided to use vespiquen vs abomasnow unfortunately it lived an Attack Order and OHKOd with avalanche (Ice type Revenge/Payback) so scizor finished it off,
lastly was Piloswine which was a 2HKO with brick break.
saw barry get his butt whooped went back to veilstone for galactic HQ
sidetracked a bit to get shadow ball for beautifly and psychic for dustox beautifly also learned giga drain.
Both got to 41 in the galactic HQ learning Bug Buzz (finally)

God, Damn, Honchkrow (i'm dreading the distortion world)
sneasel was fine for scizor a clean bullet punch OHKO
then the honchkrow, ughhhhhhhh this thing has 130 base ATK with drill peck
it was 2HKOing scizor thankfully (only poke that could take a hit) so x scissor took about a third then another one took him to his sitrus berry (revived and healed) then died again and revived/healed and a third x scissor took him to red where he full restored, more revivgn and healing later its back down to yellow i can take a drill peck then hit it with x scissor and finish with bullet punch scizor last poke, he crits me.

Sneasel was a repeat performance
this time i was a bit craftier, x scissor took just under half then scizor died and yanmega came in, it was faster and took it to red with ancientpower but then sitrus berry boosted it back up to yellow, revived/healed scizor and X scissor finished it off finally.
crobat woulve been a 3HKO with bullet punch but he still had that full restore, it went down eventually.

- after beating Chuck I went back to Olivine to beat Jasmine, just to witness her GODDAMN Level 35 Mantine!! o.O Of course it crushed my team immidiately..
- so I went on to train my team, my Magby reached Level 30 and evolved into Magmar
- because I hate grinding I went on to Mahogany Town and the Lake of Rage where I encoutered the Red Gyarados, which turned out to be a Shiney Chingling :D (I never got a shiny in 15 years of Pokemon besides the Gyarados, but as this is just as generated as the Gyarados and no Fire-PKMN, I killed it :0 )
- I crushed Team Rocket in Mahagony Town, along the way my Quilava evolved into Typhlosion
- defeated Pryce and walked back to Olivine to finally beat Jasmine (which still was pretty hard!)
- kicked Team Rocket out of the Radio Tower and evolved my Slugma
- went through the Ice Cave and reached Blackthorn City

That is correct. You can also use your starter briefly afterward for the sake of getting low leveled Dragon-types up to a level where they can adequately fight.
