Hi, could anyone help me with a glitch in Vermillion City? When i go on the boat there isn't any cut scene with bulbasaur and poliwhirl and when i'm inside there are only 2 rooms and I can't seem to advance.

There are two brown crates blocking the stairs so I can't go down there which seems to be what triggers the event according to the youtube video. I've used version 7.9 which didn't work and then played through again on 7.0 but neither lets me get past this stage.

I hate this type now dragons aren't as powerful anymore :'(

I'm going need a better reason than I hate how it weakens my favourite type. Anyway, there's only like 6 fairy moves, and only a few pokemon can actually uses it.

Among those burnt rocks, you'll find a burnt fossil. Then talk to the 2nd Magmar.

Are you playing Beta 7.9B? Anyway, there's 2 room. One you can't enter. Did you press "A" on the door?

Cheers rockmegaman, you're a legend. When it I got stuck i had a look at some youtube videos and I saw that there were fewer doors so I assumed i'd messed up the patch or something. That's seems to have it sorted now for me.

I think it depends what Fairy types are specialized in? I only grew one fairy type...but that is also part psychic which is Gardevoir ^ ^; So I can't be sure which stat Fairy specialize in...guess it depends on the Pokemon : /

As for taking out Fairy types...yeah got to give a better reason for it. Considering the only fairy types I have come across, are Jigglypuff, Clefairy and Togepi. As well as the others has said there isn't a lot of dragon types...even in the first generation games. The only real 3 dragons were Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite.

Also I have to bring up something that is quite interesting and that is the "Glitch" typing you gave Porygon. Rockmanmegaman I have to say this typing is very interesting, and actually fits quite well for a Pokemon like Porygon. Considering it is a man made Pokemon, from the computers it would make sense. For it having a typing like that, beside it being a normal type Pokemon.Though I have too ask...is there any moves that will work on this typing eheh ^ ^ ;

Cause I'm worried the fusion birds will have this typing as well X D

Nope. Only Normal typing does normal damage to it. The typing was made clearly for story purpose for the Orange Archipelago.

That's nice, but it doesn't bother me :). 3rd place is good. I'm not trying to win any award when I made this hack.

Hey! Made it to the end of the most recent beta just a few moments ago!

I found it QUITE enjoyable so far after 2 days of nonstop playing, and I can't wait to experience the rest of the post game content! Personally very excited about Blue chapter in the future as well! I noticed a few minor glitches here and there but nothing too detrimental to the gameplay. It seemed like even with surf on a pokemon, I was unable to just press A to hop into the water on the way down to Seafoam from Fuchsia City. Again, not too detrimental, but it was a minor nuisance and not that big of a deal. I'm also not quite sure if repels are doing their job. My Poliwrath is level 60 and yet even when it's leading the party, after using a repel, I'm still running into wild battles even on route 1. Not sure what is up with that but it's only a minor nuisance to me! Otherwise, everything about the experience has been fantastic! The custom pokemon, the insane character development... All of it is spectacular! I never really read the Adventures manga so the story was rather new to me! Looking forward to more fixes and more advancement in the beta and I'll probably continue to play the game both from my existing save and a new save to check for any inadvertent bugs earlier in the game!
