  • When will you release the first beta? I'm hardly waiting for hism T.T

I don't know when I will release because I'm not a psychic. Development is happening though, so don't worry.
Right now I'm importing gen 3 sprites since Chaos Rush finished his resource.

  • Sorry for the dilemma guys, have some serious schoolwork hitting me. Besides that, the 2 on 2 battles are almost figured out. This will help in the first alpha :D
Also the worldmap will be done soon.

  • I can't comprehend how genuine this looks and feels! I can't wait for an alpha and of course I wish you the best of luck in the future.

  • Well expanding took a lot out of me (I did it alone until I needed help with cries, which Doesnt helped me, shout out to him)
In the update section you can see how I did expand.
Anyway about the banner, it's awesome
It's just that the pokemon logo and giratinas are a bit squished. Could you fix it or is this it? Either way great work! :D

Alright! I will fix it, but I have to post all over the forums. 'Cause the Pokecommunity doesn't allow me to post images again untill I've had 15 posts. The image is already uploaded but I still can't post it.

  • To be honest, I've never played Platinum, so I really hope that I get a good experience. Any is good in my opinion though ^^

Gen 4 was imo the best. I was brought into Ruby, and it was good and all, but Platinum was GREAT. I feel the nostalgia everyday, and I'm thankful for it.

You can get around this with a simple break up. Example:
    imgur.com/ahdiufbisf
    imgur DOTCOME /ahdiufbisf
    :D

I also wonder about size of rom. Are you make it 16 mb, 32 mb or meybe in Pokemon Diamond Size. I mean 64 mb. It was 100% sure that UPS is needed to patch XD

The gameboy advance system can only hold a max of 32 MB roms. Reason being is that it goes into the 09 area of ram, and the last location it can hold is 09FFFFFF (1FFFFFF in your hex editor)
So a rom bigger than 32MB will just plain not work, since it can't be copied into memory.

Oh, and the rom is currently 17 MB.

Too each their own. 17MB for real with all the work done. I must say that's impressive; it makes ya think that maybe some of the newer games could be pulled off within the 32MB confinement.

They actually couldn't, due to 3d models, different structures, etc.
Music I think takes the most amount of space overall due to the stupid decision of using different voicegroups for different songs.

  • That looks amazing :) I'm glad someone is putting the DS Sprite Resource to good use.

Actually what I did was go in desmume and check the tilemaps, similar to VBA-M's map viewer. The one on the spriter's resource is incomplete anyway, since it's missing stuff like e4 and battle frontier.
