Update time!
The release is imminent, I can feel it coming in a few days, tops.
I have updated the Wiki (some sections like the Gym leaders and stuff is updated, but poorly done, and will be changed later, but for now it's fine)

There's a lot to be excited for, a great title screen, an amazing intro, a better beginning to the game, a lot of trainers to battle, an awesome Pokegear, tons of outfits, test maps showing off the past and future features for the game, which will be implemented later on, and probably a lot more.

Basically everything is a lot more polished than last time, and this release will mark the end of V4, and set the standard for all future releases, meaning that from here on out, I will be adding to this existing world, and not changing towns/events unless I see it has to be done.

Finally, I will conclude with a response to a previous post, stating I should create a more unique Professor, instead of using a slightly edited Juniper, and so, I give you the New Professor Maple Design

Hi uh i dunno if it has already been pointed out but when the prof aid comes and gives you some pokeballs when your leaving if you take a step forward then step on the blue mat again he'll repeat what he says and gives you more pokeballs
its a pretty cool bug lol i got 20 pokeballs but i thought maybe you would want to know if it hasent already been pointed out

Anyways, I played again and I really enjoyed the new changes! I'm not sure if I'm stuck or not, but where does the beta end?

Yeah, that current one ends in that town, since I forgot to program the bridges XP
But if you like those changes you'll blow your top off for this new one, the changes are epic.

I'm still working on this, but with the school year starting, it's happening very slowly.
I hope to get a release by the end of September, but I want to have 2 gyms and the character sets finished before I release it, so we'll see what happens.

This game is actually programmed to ONLY be playable on a 3 1/2" Floppy. You will need to have a supporting drive to be able to play this game.

A sort of update

I've been working on outfits, and the ones available for this release are almost done, but here's a question
would you rather have a release sooner and not have every outfit have a running animation? or wait until I finish that part up

Running animations are minor, let's see the work!

I'm conflicted, on the one hand I want to get it out there and let people play the new stuff that's going on, since there's so much improvements since 4.1, but on the other I want to release a complete update...

Regardless, there is an update coming soon enough. The Outfits are something I like in particular, as almost all of them are custom, and none of them are just copied from the original games; they have all been changed or improved in some way - some minor such as Red, others drastically, such as Ruby and Sapphire.

I'll also mention that while the main story has yet to include journeys to the past and future, I have included beta areas to show off my work and give a taste or tease of what's to come. Also, most of the work on the outfits has been solely my own work, with the addition of existing official sprites (primarily Ruby and Sapphire, but also Lucas).

Sadly, I only have a few sprites created for the past and that wont change in this update, and I'm not use to spriting such OW's

Actually, I'll wait til I finish the running animations, since I actually have some other things left to work on in the main game, such as the second gym.

The outfits sound awesome, custom is always good. And dangerous.
