Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
I'm not good at judging myself against characters. Sometimes I worry I always end up liking asshole characters because I'm also an asshole but I don't actually think I am so hopefully that's not the case. I also already kind of answered the latter part of this prompt in the fave character one, though, since the favourite I picked is someone I admire a lot of qualities in. But if that's the main prompt, I'll pick someone else: Leia Rolando from Tales of Xillia is someone I wish I could be more like. She's enthusiastic, kind, and you can really tell that she cares about other people. She finds it easy to include others and get them to open up about themselves and even when she finds herself down, she bounces back really quickly. Some things do get her down, but she always gets back up and encourages the same in others. I want to be more like that.

Only just found this today so I post the 4 I missed and today's now.

Day 1 - Very first video game.
    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

That would be Lego racers in November 1999, the first game I got for the new PC we got then, not a bad game, A Mario Kart clone but you made your own character and car from lego, also had a better power up system were you could choose your power ups rather than them being random.

Day 2 - Your favorite character.

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

Tough one, I don't really have an answer so Ive chosen Lucina (even if she is not favorite FE character) because I thinkshes a cool character and I use her in both Awakening and Smash Bros.
Day 3 - A game that is underrated.

Etrian Odyssey IV, I only found it by accident looking around for demos on E-Shop and loved the demo so got the full game and love it, awesome old school JRPG, sad that I have never found the franchise earlier,
Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game.

Day 5 - Game character that you feel you are most like (or wish you were)

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

Diddy is simply my favorite character of all time. Ever since I first played as him in Donkey Kong Country, I've always enjoyed his personality - funny, but knows when it's time to get the job done. I think if I WAS a video game character, I'd want to be Diddy. He gets to hang with precious lil' Dixie, big bud Donkey, and all the other cool Kongs. :) #dreamlife lololo

Plus Syd says that I'm totally Diddy.

Day 5: Character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)

This one is a fairly easy choice (or two): Elec Man [Mega Man 1] and Chill Man [Mega Man 10]!
In the former's case, a lot of shared aesthetics make me think so. Lightning has always been very cheery and fascinating to watch, and electrokinesis is one of my favorite elemental abilities. Black and yellow are two of my favorite colors, and Elecman's design reminds me of quirky clothing that I would wear, myself! His profile in Mega Man & Bass says that he likes playing the [electric?] guitar, and rock/electronic rock is a favorite musical genre of mine. It also says he has a bit of a bad temper, which I don't fall far from on a bad day. A lot of Mega Man media portray him as the "big brother" to the other DLN robots, and a lot of my slightly younger pals (and even some who are around the same age as me) used to look up to me like that before. In Chillman's case, he's a photographer and an arctic conservationist/explorer. I don't like seeing nature wither away, either, and I often wish I could go on adventures somewhere. That, and I've always preferred snow and the cold over heat, and can't stand summer time or deserts - unfortunately, since I live in one right now.

Props to using the Animal Crossing player, lmao.

Day 3 - Most underrated game
I've talked about this game many a time before, but here I am to continue that testimony. You've all heard of Rare, right? You know, Conker's Bad Fur Day, the Donkey Kong Country series, and Banjo-Kazooie? Jet Force Gemini is definitely Rare's underrated gem. It's a third person shooter where you, as best as I'd describe it, kill ants and rescue koalas. The music is pretty damn good. It's a nice challenging, but fair game. You can play as a tank dog, too. That's a thing.

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

    Day 4 - Alli's guilty pleasure game
Wait. Didn't I already talk about an underrated Rare game? Oh well. Anyway, Viva Pinata, also developed by Rare, is another game I see brushed off quite a bit. I think part of that is because the games are for the Xbox 360, a system most commonly associated with FPS games and...other games that have nothing to do with pinatas or gardens or candy. But who says you can't relax from all that?! Viva Pinata is a little weird at first and may not grasp everyone, but it's definitely really relaxing and you end up spending way more time playing it than you anticipate when you first load it up. Why is this my guilty pleasure and not my underrated? Because it's the only reason I'm keeping my 360. Oops.

Day 5 - Character you feel you are most like
I already talked about this precious little prick, but I feel like I relate to him a lot and that's another reason he resonates with me so well. I've been the quiet type before and let my friends talk for me. I gained a voice and didn't use it in the best ways all the time. And then somewhere along the line, I became a sensible person after some less than fortunate obstacles. While we're not exact, we're pretty alike. Just more reasons I love Jak as a character and more reasons I loved having Jak as a username, despite people saying it wasn't very me. I felt it was almost as "me" as Sydian.

And if you're wondering, no, I didn't go off to do combat racing. Just thought I'd clarify that. ;)

Really wish I had an answer for this one. Despite all the games I've played, never really had a certain character that reminded me of myself. Taking the easy way out for this question, but if anyone comes to mind, I'll be sure to say so. ;)

After lots of debate, and asking a few friends if Yoshi could be a good choice.. which went exactly how you'd expect it to.
    Spoiler:

I have officially decided that I relate to -- and wish I were more like -- Ittle Dew. ..from Ittle Dew.

Come on, she's the quirky, spunky female version of Link. And also if Link had a sense of humor.

Although maybe he does; we'll never know.

I guess this one wasn't a hard one to answer, but for me, it's Jim Raynor from the StarCraft series. I've always admired his personality and his vigilantism, and especially in my real life scenarios, I've always been vigilant, just like how Jim is.

Day 5, Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).

I wish I were more like Wander from shadow of the colossus. Yes, the main character's name is Wander, but the thing I like about him is he's willing to go through anything just to bring his love back to life, even if it means desecrating the holy forbidden lands and killing all of the colossi.

    Rolling in with Day #6~

Day 6 - Most annoying character.

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

I live in a world of annoying cliches and tropes; I play JRPGs. This should have been a lot harder than it was. But Hope Estheim is easily the most annoying, poorly designed, useless, pathetic and infuriating character I have ever had the misfortune of suffering...for three games. In the first, he does nothing but complain, make excuses for his own ineptitude and place blame wherever he feels like it (like your standard-issue moody teenager stereotype) and, those moments where he attempts to develop his character, it's almost physically painful to watch, as the writing for this game is so poor it's like reading fanfiction written by a four year old; it's utterly unbelievable and only leaves him looking more pathetic than he already did. Lord only knows why he had to be in the second game. And in the third he's de-aged back to his irritating child self.

The shiptease between him and Lightning is just plain creepy - a six-year age gap isn't bad usually, but he's FOURTEEN, for crying out loud! - and don't even get me STARTED on his voice. I've heard some truly horrid voice actors in the games I've played - Yuri Lowenthal is in most JRPGs these days - but Hope takes the cake, eats it too, and then vomits it onto the carpet. I've never heard worse.

...so, yeah, Hope Estheim. If a more annoying character exists, I haven't encountered them, and I hope I never do. I'd rather play Mugen Souls than endure another hour of him.

Larry from the Walking Dead. An absolutely terrible character (which is good) who brought a lot of annoyance to me with his antics. He was an antagonist from the go and they did an excellent job making me dislike him.

Day 6 - Most annoying character.

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

Katie from Animal Crossing. Oh man can I say a lot about her. First off let me just say to not be deceived by her because behind that happy innocent smile lies a cold blooded time waster. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and in Animal Crossing: City Folk Katie would (sadly) visit your town and what would she be doing when you see her? Crying because she was separated from her mother. So being the kind-hearted person I hope everyone is you would help her to the town gate if memory serves. Now the problem lies in getting there because if the player enters another building, she will not enter but when they exit the building she can be found crying, asking them where they were. She also may fall over if the player moves too quickly and she begins to fall behind, and will cry as a result (cite) which is a complete nightmare!!!

I'm going with the (or wish you were) part, because I am boring and there is no character I am like (that I will admit, anyway :P).

    (via)

I guess I really wanted to be Jodie Holmes from Beyond: Two Souls. At first I was just gonna say "because she's a total badass", but thinking about her character a bit more, even without her link to Aiden she's a pretty strong person. Brave, really driven when she wants to be and doesn't take crap from anyone. Plus she's like a really tiny person that's black ops-trained and good at kicking ass even without Aiden's help, and that's pretty impressive.

Day 6 - Most annoying character.
heeyy another Animal Crossing character for today

so I don't actually think he's that annoying, but off the top of my head:
    MR. RESETTI
    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

Anyone who's played any of the pre-New Leaf Animal Crossing games knows this guy. If you dare turn off your console without saving first, the next time you start up the game you'll be greeted by Mr. Resetti as he launches into a mildly amusing, mildly aggressive and very, very long rant about the consequences of not saving your game. Every single time. In retrospect, it was a pretty unique and even funny way to discourage players from resetting and "cheating" to avoid something bad in-game, but damn, it was pretty annoying to sit through all that back then. Still, it was kind of a love-hate thing because I personally found him kind of endearing and hilarious. "And scrub behind those ears! Got that? Now scram!"

    Your Mum from Pokemon Gold/Silver.
For two reasons, Firstly when you start she will not shut up and let you get, insted she explains the most obvious and simple of things like how to press the A button or whatever, Secondly the fact she offers to save your money for you and if you do take up this generous seeming offer, she doesn't save it at all and wastes it on useless trash like pokedolls or what ever overpriced junk she can find!!!

Ok this one I can answer! finally

First one would be Hope from FFXIII. Meloetta already explained that one so I don't need to say anything else on that.

Then there's Emil from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, who's sorta in a similar vein as Hope. For the game's main character he is such a whiny little shit. It's fine if the character's not confident in themselves, not everyone's gotta be some shonen hero....but do you have to be so fuckin' annoying about it (and the Emil/Hope archetype always seems to be annoying)?

Oh, and then there's Cicero from Skyrim. I don't like jesters. I don't like his annoying ass voice or the way he talks. I suppose that his journal entries are supposed to make you feel sorry for him or something, but nah, not me. So glad you get to kill him. Which btw, when I did that the other day, this is what happened:

    Spoiler:

    I don't think that's how decapitation works....

I've heard some truly horrid voice actors in the games I've played - Yuri Lowenthal is in most JRPGs these days -
Idk, I liked him as Gig in Soul Nomad

    Day 6, Most Annoying Character

    30 Days of Gaming Challenge

When it comes to most annoying character, there is a couple I can think of but I will only focus on one. One character that is the most annoying is The Adoring Fan from The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. How annoying is he? Well there are a lot of videos showing players killing him in many different ways. Plus the nickname many players have for him is The Annoying Fan.

One (Obvious) character comes to mind for me. Gary Oak. Need I say more?

But for someone not Pokemon, Navi quickly come to mind. Once again, need I say more?

I'm gonna agree with Meloetta and Zekrom and say Hope Estheim from FFXIII. Meloetta summed it up nicely. Tidus from FFX is also pretty annoying, but definitely not as annoying as Hope.
