WOW thank you seahawks for breaking packers fans hearts just like they broke us cowboys fans hearts (in cheating manner, no less). hopefully they win the SB, but that was undoubtedly one of the most hilarious and amazing things i've ever watched on a television in my 16 years of life. mike mccarthy and dom capers deserved to lose this game, some of the most soft conservative play calling i have ever seen. the 3rd and 19 conversion, morgan burnett sliding instead of running the 4th pick in for a TD, haha not making a play on the DUCK for the 2pt, Bostick just generally screwing up on the onside kick, clay matthews being dirty as hell, jermaine kerse being absolutely trash until the last play of the game... MY GOD what an entertaining 60 minutes of football!! also, richard sherman proved why QBs should think twice before throwing to his side. excellent coverage.

colts pats was a bore just as i expected it to be, which is really sad because luck deserves an SB appearance, but pats are much, much better. in fact i can't think of a worse team being in the championship than these colts. other than andrew luck and ty hilton, what do they have on that team?? darelle revis is still a top 2 cornerback

i am excited to see the two best secondaries in the nfl play against each other. i hope seattle wins, but honestly it looks like it could go either way on a neutral field

Goodbye and good riddance to Green Bay! This is no longer the darkest timeline! \o/

Gotta feel sorry for Bostick, though. He'll probably receive a few death threats from angry Packer fans.

I'm torn between Seattle and New England for the Super Bowl, though. Seattle's fanbase has swollen and less pleasant fans have emerged from their fairweather side of their fanbase, but I really don't want to see the Brady-Belichick duo win a 4th Super Bowl.

I didn't really get to watch either game in their entirety since I was in and out yesterday, but I really thought that Green Bay had a chance of pitching a shutout, especially when you take into consideration Seattle's horrid offensive performance yesterday. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I do think that Green Bay still had chances to win the game, they just didn't capitalize on them at all.

As far as the AFC game went, I won't say that I'm surprised at the outcome of the game. This has happened the last few times we've faced the Colts (yes, I'm a patriots fan), and I'm still astounded that the game didn't end up being a rematch of 2014's AFC championship game.

As far as the Super Bowl goes, I think New England can pull out the win. I feel as if their defense is better than Seattle's offense; really if they can keep Lynch in check then they should be alright. The secondary should be more than capable of handling Seattle's passing game. The matchup to watch, in my opinion, will be New England's offense vs Seattle's defense. It will be very interesting to see how Seattle plans to handle Gronkowski.

Interesting how Indianapolis is trying to pull a Deflate-gate after their atrocious playing on the field Sumday. Teams are just trying to pull excuses against this New England team, just brings a chuckle to me.

Green Bay had that game and completely let the Seahawks off the hook. The onside kick and the fake completely turned that game around, and GB let Seattle march right down the field on those big pass plays.

As for the Super Bowl, I would like to see Seattle repeat but part of me wants to watch the world burn and let Brady get one more Super Bowl title so he can ride off into the sunset in a few seasons and leave us all alone, haha.

Maybe. Whatever the case, I don't think deflated balls were the sole reason the Colts were trounced on Sunday.

The only thing this whole ball deflation story has made me think, why on earth are the teams supplying their own balls. Surely so this can never happen it should be the league supplying the balls and every game having the exact same specifications.

I just love how the Patriots are getting ripped cause of it. Because, you know, deflated balls helped Blount run 150 yards on the Colts. Like Lizardo said, the balls weren't the reason the Colts lost so badly. If anything, the refs are supposed to pump up the balls at halftime, right around the same time they had found out the balls were a tad deflated. They would have - or should have - fixed the problem right then and there. Even still, I think the points say everything: 17 in the first half with deflated balls, 28 in the second without.

But of course, just knowing how the NFL Nation loves to image the Pats, an asterisk will go down on this Super Bowl if they do end up winning it again. Quite a shame, really, considering if the Pats actually did it on purpose they really didn't need to with their prior destruction of the Colts earlier in the season.

So.. I'm requesting to work a double on Super Bowl Sunday. All my favorites are out, and as you get older you realize the Super Bowl is fixed. The haterade is in gallons here xD

And as for Deflategate, I've been reading up quite a lot about it on Bleacher Report. Bleacher Report always has everything every football team up to date, and basketball and basically any sport. Anyways, I mainly use it to keep up on all the NFL Teams, and there's videos talking with NFL Experts (and sometimes they even have players join them for videos via Skype, or in person). One of the guys worked for the NFL himself as a ball boy for 8 years and mentioned how the teams supply their own balls, and that the balls used in the games are sometimes the same balls used in practice (like the balls that the QB feels like are good balls they want to play with), and that if this entire ordeal is indeed true, then it's going to come back on Brady hardddd. I don't think the deflated balls would have had any difference on the outcome of the game, but Brady still had to have full knowledge of the deflated balls.

Given the hand signal taping scandal back in '06 or so, I don't think the Patriots are going to escape the court of public opinion declaring them guilty on this one. Appearing to cheat twice in 8 years does not reflect well on the organization given how little personnel has changed at the top in those 10 years. Especially if that organization is a title-winning one. Allegations of Belichick and Brady being cheaters will rear their heads again, though they'll probably fall out of sight and out of mind after the next NFL "scandal" comes to light, at least until the Patriots go deep in the playoffs after next season. If the Patriots weren't winners, there would be little fuss made about this sort of issue.

The thing is, did the deflation of the balls really have a large impact on the game? No. I believe ESPN did an experiment on deflated balls vs inflated balls earlier today and arter throwing the ball 30 yards the deflated ball fell an inch shorter then the regular one. And personally, the Colts would have been trounced with or without this happening, the Patriots were the much better team. However, the big story isn't the deflation; it's that again, the Patriots opted to cheat (especially in such a high stakes game.) Again, Bellichick has tarnished the reputation of the team nationwide, and it's making it very difficult for Pats fans to stay loyal to their team after another allegation.

Thankfully I'm a bigger Saints fan then a Patriots fan lol (we still have Bounty-gate though, *sigh* ...)

I'm a diehard Pats fan to the point where I've given up defending my team on the internet with needlessly angry fans of other teams.

I laugh with you about 18-1, how Tom Brady is still somehow inferior to Joe Montana, at Spygate, and at deflating footballs when numerous others, including former Bucs QB Brad Johnson, admit to doing the same.

With all due respect to Chuck Pagano, Andrew Luck and the Colts organization (the time of the release of this story makes it sound like "hot air" and sore loserness), the difference between 17-7 at the half and 45-7 final is not the ball, it's your defense. Granted, they did a fantastic job putting pressure on Old Noodlearm, Peyton Manning, in Denver. By the way, thanks for that upset.

On to Seattle, the Patriots will not be so lucky. After the previous run-ins with the New York Giants in the Super Bowl, I would not be surprised if they lost. I've seen enough Seahawk football to know what they'll pull on Brady, on LeGarrette Blount, and on Chandler Jones and the defense. It won't be pretty if they win.

okay obviously the colts would've lost whether the footballs were green or deflated or made of feathers, but it's still hilarious that they're caught up in another post-season scandal that will potentially mark this year as deflategate if they do end up taking the crown, and make the claim that they weren't good after spygate still valid as ignorant media enthusiasts will think they cheated again.

so let me make this clear: i think it's dumb that people are saying the deflated balls actually effected the outcome of the game, but i do think it's really funny. still think the seahawks are gonna beat the deflatriots though

What I find funny is the Patriots are trying to claim they didn't know the balls were deflated which is complete nonsense. I'm sorry, but anyone can tell when a ball is deflated, just like the defender on the Colts knew as soon as he came in contact with the ball. It wasn't the reason they won, because clearly the Pats outplayed the Colts offensively and defensively, Colts didn't have a chance; but I still see it as cheating. Once a cheater always a cheater. The Patriots history of cheating is the sole reason why I despise them as a team. I hope Seattle does the same to the Pats as they did to Denver last year. Tbh, if I was in control of this situation, I'd ban Brady from playing in the Superbowl because he knows damn well the balls were deflated with him being a QB and I'd fire Belichick because he knew as well.
