I am looking to lose another Stone this year, possibly two. I currently sit at just under 14 stone which isn't a bad thing for me as this time last year I was 18 and a half stone. I'm looking to tone up more this year so I've been going to a class at the gym once a week and playing Badminton once a week. I'm waiting for the snow and rain to go away and for the nicer weather to return so I can get back out running.

  • I need to lose weight, I'm waiting until it gets warmer outside (it's cold with snow lately) So hopefully in the spring I can start eating healthier and exercising. Because of certain medications I'm on my triglycerides are sky high so I definitely need to work on that because my eating habits also contribute to it.

I would say I am fit. I work out 2 hours a day (early morning at about 4 AM), 6 days a week, in my personal gym I have in my basement.
My exercising is a bit excessive, but my body is used to it now, having been doing it for like 2 years.
I don't watch what I eat and I eat kind of a lot, so it evens out a bit. :P

I'm thin, but with pretty much all muscle if that makes sense.
I don't want to post a pic because even though I have a great body (not trying to brag, just saying what other people has said), I am very self-conscious about my body.
But also because I have the body of chewbacca (as my friends have said), so you wouldn't be able to see anything anyways. ^_^

  • I'm far from fit right now and ever since I started Uni in 2013 I've been a lazy child.

In terms of 2015 goals, my goal is mostly to kick my asthma which has somewhat been getting worse. I used to play lots of sports like Basketball, Soccer and handball but that stopped when I started uni so I have had nothing to keep me active.

This year I will hopefully go back to doing weekly swimming, running, dance and hopefully join either the badminton or handball club. Putting so much on my plate right now and probs may not do a lot of it, but hopefully it will motivate me to do things.

pretty much same here. haven't been doing much cardio lately - or at least not for extended periods given how difficult it is to breathe in colder weather - but the cold fronts should be moving out so I'll be getting back on that soon. What do you guys do as far as cardio/running? like, distances (or lackthereof) - more casual or do you have a regimen?

this has always been.. hard, like I have a very small body fat percent and scrubbing off the last bit so it's mostly muscle is hard - what do you do?

swimming, huh? that sounds cool - local club or some private thing? idk how swimming recreationially actually works. also, it's probably best to slowly get back into athletic stuff since it's been so long, right? you'll probably get back into the swing of it in no time.

I haven't worked out consistently in over 5 years now but thankfully I'm still pretty strong nowadays despite that. During my time when I was working out though, my muscles certainly showed my efforts well.

I'd say I'm somewhat fit. I'm forced to do crossfit every week, and go running every weekend. I eat pretty healthy, not a lot of junk food. However, if you leave me alone with a box of oreos, don't trust me. I usually do swim team every spring, but I decided to quit and do something else. However, I am not strong or fast at all.

Pretty much like I said before. I work out 2 hours almost every day, but it took about a year to build up to that much. I started with 30 minutes each day, about 3 times a week, and just slowly increased the pace until I got where I am now.

My endocrine system is basically a war zone so I've struggled with that extra 10-15 lbs since I hit puberty and started birth control pills, basically. I'm a bit petite-ish too so it sucks :(

But! I've an appointment with an endocrinologist in about two weeks who's going to be testing my thyroid and everything else as well lol. Genetics are so much fun, right?!

As far as lifestyle goes, I could stand to work out more but we've had some downright crazy sub-zero (Fahrenheit) weather consistently the past week and calisthenics at home can only do so much lmao (plus, I'm pretty lazy in that department). I eat pretty balanced too, especially considering I've been vegetarian for 6 months.

tl;dr I could be in better shape but I could also be much, much worse too lol.

It's a private thing. There's a pool in walking distance of my university so I'm planning to go there. I think the hardest thing though is to actually be motivated enough for me to actually go there xD

  • I am planning to bulk up. Nothing too extreme, just so that I look at little more built than what I am now.

Anyway I'm not too fit at all but eating small and healthy keeps me at a happy fitness level. People who never work out would still be thin if they ate right and did minimal physical things like walking and whatnot

  • I quit the sports team I was on for years previously mostly for personal reasons, nothing really having to do with physical activity :P My friend wants me to go swimming at a club near her house, so I might do that instead or join another club team. I'm really weak and out of shape >.>

  • I go to the gym five days a week. I was running at the park as well up until it became freezing-cold. I am not about running in that. I don't eat super well, but I'm bulking up like crazy compared to the past. I was super skinny in 2011 and have been told I looked ill back then, but I was just eating really well and working out some. Since then, I gained a lot of weight, some height, and now I'm losing the weight and gaining muscle which is nice. :)

  • I've said this before but coming from the point of view of an ex-fat guy, guys who are skinny and feel the need to bulk up are just genetic ingrates.

My body is unhealthy at the moment, not because I have overweight, but because I haven't sported in 8 months now, because of a constant chain of sickness and injuries. I want to go to the sport school once the Glandular fever is over. I try to eat healthy to at least keep myself healthy that way.

  • I used to be really overweight.

    As of last week's measurements:
    42.5kg
    4'10"
Not sure about the body fat %.

I cut out all sweets and junk food for lent- going well so far.
Work out about twice a week (trying to bump that up to 3-4 times. It's been a rough couple months since Christmas) I do a gym session or two at lunch during the week, and then Saturdays and Sundays in the morning (1 hour gym, 1 hour spin/cycling both days) when I don't have plans. I do mostly weights and resistance training (aside from that hour of spin)

Daily caloric intake is around 1300- bit less on rest days, a bit more on gym days, and some leeway that I don't count for outings.
Macros I try to hit: Carb 45%, Fats 25%, Protein 30%

    And why not:
    Spoiler:

I look a bit different since that picture (gosh, almost a year ago!) As I said, it's been a rough few months (put on 3.5 kg) so I've lost muscle/put on a bit of weight, so I'm looking to get back into the shape I had and eat healthier.
